[Champion Concept] Andrea, the Dragonslayer - Jungler Ranged Tank - Shyvana related

This is my first concept ever so I accept criticism! I based this idea on the concept of the Dragonriders from Dark Souls. I think it would be interesting to have a tank armed with a giant bow like in DS2. A ranged tank is a concept that we haven't seen yet and that I admit would be challenging to design properly. http://i.imgur.com/JzGodaS.png http://i.imgur.com/X2wHkUR.png

**Andrea, the Dragonslayer. ** Primary role: tank Secondary role: marksman.

Lore: I am not good at writing, but she is related to Shyvana. In not a good way.

Draconian Hunter (Passive): Andrea deals extra damage the further away her targets are, and gains extra resistances the closer they attack her from.

Weak on the Knees (Q)- Andrea fires her giant arrows and cripples her target with their massive weight. For x seconds, Andrea's next basic attacks add a giant arrow stack on the enemy, slowing them progressively with every arrow. The third stack will root them.

Crushing Shot (W)- Andrea charges a giant arrow (1 sec channeling) and then shoots in a straight line, knocking back all enemies in a small area from the point of impact. If Andrea is also in that area, she is knocked back too (similar to Caitlyn but only if she is close enough to the impact zone, generating some gameplay to keep enemies away and also herself, or just enemies, or just her).

Dragonblood bath (E)- **Passive: **Andrea gains permanent bonus health for every giant monster killed, enemy kill or assist, and extra bonus health for assisting or killing Dragon or Baron. Additionally, during the 5th dragon buff, Andrea gains massive extra movement speed. **Active: **Andrea burns the blood of dragons she bathed on, causing herself x %max health damage, and gaining invulnerability for x seconds.

Monster Trap (R): Andrea fires a rain of arrows around her and they fall in a circle, creating a wall and trapping enemies inside with her. Andrea or her allies can pass through the arrows from the inside or the outside but would knock down the ones they make contact with, leaving an opening for enemies to use. (Yeah... I know, Smite's Odin's ultimate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNZV5AvktLk )

Andrea is a ranged tank who depends greatly on gameplay and decision-making. She excels in the late game. Unlike other ranged Champions, she goes to the front line and, unlike other tanks, she punishes the enemies while keeping them away from her team, until she lets them be close enough to trap and finish them with her hunter knowledge. Primarily made for the jungle, she can also play an interesting support role with her moderate poke and heavy cc.

Hey! ^_^ Here are my thoughts on Andrea, The dragonslayer!

Numbers: I don't like judging concepts based on numbers however they are incredibly important. They determine the strength of an ability and

Jungling: One of the biggest initial issues is she can't jungle. Junglers need some way to clear camps while maintaining hp and taking camps fast Andrea lacks both. I believe at least, I can't tell precisely cause I don't know the scaling and bases of her abilities but she has no primarily damaging abilities or ways to empower her damage so clearing will probably be an issue. Depending on her passive she can probably manage but it'll be very slow and you might as well just chosen another tank and done better.

Passive: Kind of strange in my opinion, doesn't leave much room to counterplay. Stay far from her she gets more attack get close she gets more defense there isn't aw way around it she's getting free stats either way.

E: Invulnerability is a rather frustrating concept to play around with, look at some of the most prominent users of this Fizz and Kayle which are regarded as some of the most frustrating champions to go against. Also this brings up another issue, why does a tank want invulnerability? You're already building to survive as long as possible doesn't that make invulnerability redundant? The only time I can see it being used is when you're low hp to buy more time but since it costs hp you'll just kill yourself anyway.

I believe that the permanent bonus hp is fine buts encourages and rewards the player to constantly farm the jungle instead of ganking which is weird for a tank since they tend to clear fairly slow and are chosen for their CC anyway.

Synergy: Look this is something that bothered me a lot when going through this concept, you have five cool abilities but how do they interact or compliment each other? Think of the new champion Jhin; his abilities work and compliment each other do you believe Andrea does this? It feels like you have five separate abilities, in my opinion they don't really mesh. Think about someone like Ekko, His Q sets up his E and his W with the slow, the W works well with the E and ult and overall the kit meshes together rather well.

Lore: Lore doesn't have to be complicated just try and figure out what kind of character you want and write a small backstory. if you want to go further write a scenario involing her. if you really want I could try and write something but I would need to know a bunch of details concerning her first.

Personal Thoughts: I think it's a nice start but I think it still needs a lot of work, another issue as a tank is that she has no instantaneous CC aside from a slow, her W requires 1 second to charge if you're peeling a Zed of your ADC that 1 second is enough to have your adc instagibbed and the Q requires three AAs to proc.

Also a ranged tank is simply a weird concept, ranged champions have a lot of safety becasue well they're ranged. Think about it becasue Andrea is ranged she won't need to be in the thick of things to do her job of peeling and laying down CC which brings up the point why is she a tank anyway? Why not build her bruiser so she can deal damage as well being reasonably tanky? Just my thought.

Here are some questions I like to ask to help people with their concepts hopefully they help you too.

-Why should I pick Andreas?

What separates her from every other champion in the game. Why should I pick Andreas over any other tank that can clear better and provide cc?

-Imagine playing versus Andreas in your favorite champion in your favorite role how do you handle her? do you feel she's fair?

How many arrows do Monster Trap creates? Does the fence block dashes, count as terrain or has any other special effect?

I don't think she should get max health for her e because sion already has that in his kit. Does the invulnerability apply to cc. Also instead of getting bonus movespeed on 5th drag cause that's really difficult to hit in normals. What if after killing drag she got bonus stats or something making her great at drag fights.
