When primary role is "fill" let us put a role we DON'T want as secondary

I love being support but I don't always want to be support when I select fill. I sometimes want to be "anything except support." Or "anything except adc" because I suck. Right now primary fill leaves no second option, which is logical since you select every already, but I think it would be GREAT to still leave a second option for a role you don't want to fill as. Right now, queuing as fill guarantees being support 95% of the time either set as primary or secondary. It makes no difference from selecting support as primary or secondary and this would give a really distinctive value to the role "fill."

Please for your consideration.

EDIT: and idea proposed in the comments would be that AT LEAST you can choose the role you played last as a role you don't want to play. That way you fill and maybe play one game as support but not the next.

That defeats the entire purpose of fill.

In all seriousness, despite that i'm a Support Main- I too have a problem with Fill = Support. I think Fill should be replaced with "What role you DON'T want" and it would work out much better. At least, on paper. I could see some issues rising from that and load times, but personally Fill is kind of a joke because we all know what it'll lead you into getting lol.

I support the OP's idea. This would literally change nothing with the number of people that play support. People that don't want to support already don't use fill. Actually, it would probably increase the amount of supports with the people that put Fill/(other non-support role)

Problem is fill is to fill the role required. That will always be support. If yiu want this option then it is not fill but rather something else. Which don't get me wrong, maybe an option like that should exist and fill be second role only. It's just that is not fill.

Alternatively, we could get to pick any number of roles, and place them in order of priority. There is no reason we should only have to pick 2. Like you must choose minimum 2 roles but can select more if you like.

Yeah whenever I fill and I get ADC I just warn my team to strap in.

"Why are you rushing Tear on Caitlyn?!"

"I can't last hit."

"So? Just build whatever the meta item build is!"

"What is the point of trying to rush a BFS if it's literally going to take me 18 minutes without Tear?"

"Why pick ADC if you aren't going to play it the same as every other person does?"

Obviously I never fill in ranked.

I want this. I remember when fill gave me mid in ranked... I hate mid, it's the only lane I simply can't even hold. Fill except mid would be perf!

As a support main i +1 this.

I don't mind doing support but its all i ever get the chance to do in ranked and its the biggest reason i hate Dynamic Queue and refuse to play ranked.

All rounded player here, in the past seasons I had to deal with pick order which alot of people didn't like but this allowed me to freely pick if i wasn't bottom pick so I can pick a cheesy champion or a good champion pick for the team (mostly underated ones).

Honestly i rather just pick one role i prefer and just play -_-.

Season 6 is an outstanding failure, the worst season in this game. If Season 7 can add select only one role then it would give dynamic queue some respect from me though I rather have the old SoloQ back but im not diamond so i get jackshit. (thanks rito)

I've been going fill almost every game for the last couple weeks and I have never not gotten support. Not a single time. It would definitely be nice to play another role once in a while without 15 minute queue times.

Better yet, only make this option available for a limited time to those who've filled in Dynamic Queue 2 or 3 games already. If it's available 24/7, queue times will be blocked up like crazy

That's 100% my opinion. Like you I enjoy playing Supp, but not every single "fill"-game. And I somewhat suck as ADC so I'd like to qeue " fill except ADC" in rankeds.

I can supp very well but really, really pref adc. Because 99% of the time I get supp when I pick adc/supp, I queue up adc/mid even though the queue time can shoot up to 15 min

I'd use that. Ill do anything but top lane and while its almost impossible to get top lane as "fill" it does happen.
