Since the story is that she's fighting Viktor, change her idol to a Cho'Gath battlecast skull. I could see her being the kind of person to take down the tank first.

Yeah, but it's just as awkward when Omega Squad Teemo sees any other Omega Squad member on the enemy team since lorewise the Omega Squad is all dead except Teemo who has PTSD because of it.

Has PTSD from losing Omega Squad members. Encounters living Omega Squad members on enemy team. Kills them again. That's some next level PTSD.

There needs to be another change.

You can't call her Battlecast if she's fighting the other Battlecasts. Battlecast is Viktor's army. She may not be full metal, but she's not battlecast either.

Also she still has fleshy bits. Unacceptable.

Why not? Super Galaxy Elise is portrayed as a villain fighting the other Super Galaxy skins, so this would be no different.

Super Galaxy skins are designed by various creators. Super Galaxy is not an alignment, but Battlecast is.

Battlecasts are designed and employed by only Creator Viktor.

You do not call yourself a member of the faction you are fighting against.

She could be (Battlecast) Survivor, Destroyer, Imperfect, any of these names would be fitting for the skin, and the Survivor tag even opens up for a wide array of Battlecast Survivor skins, with people who were unfinished modifications joining up with Illaoi to fight against Viktor's BATTLECASTS.

and yet it's CREATOR viktor instead of battlecast viktor. Battlecast should be full machine not a gritty version of Project.

That said i'd love to see a bunch of skins like that, just with a different name.

I've been growing fond of (Battlecast) Survivor Illaoi.

You could call her Destroyer, but that becomes less of a plural set of skin names and more of a singular.

Resistance is already a name on a Caitlyn skin, which may or may not be from the same group, but it's an old 520 RP skin so it may be like the old Battlecast Xerath skin, which was originally NOT a battlecast but became one due to popular demand.

So if that goes through instead of Survivor, expect some changes on the Cait Skin to bring it in line with Illaois.

yes, im aware of the cait skin. in fact it made me wonder if she's part of it.

Honestly it doesn't look to far off. While it doesn't use any machinery it still seems like it could fit in. Her clothing in it are more modern military looking clothing. Honestly just changing the background of the splashart to a city would be enough.

considering it's jayce's resistance i could see cait being part of it.

Well Viktor was the one who created them, but he's no different than the Vik in our main universe. He's just more successful.

I think they're going for a Terminator story in this one.

he is different as he achieves his final body in this one (and in full machine) and is more successful too ofc.

Idk what you mean by Terminator story in this one all i know of that series is there's some time travel stuff, an ai, a bunch of robots and arnold.

But i'm assuming you mean she just turned on them. Sure and joining jayce's resistance seems only normal then. The wiki even refers this skinline as the evolution: "The Evolution is a series of alternate universe skins in League of Legends tied into Viktor's lore." So a different name for them wouldn't be weird at all.

Being battlecast means you completely underwent the transformation, Illaoi clearly did not.

I think I worded this wrong. The name is to tell us she's related to the story. It might also get changed in the future, but they're giving us general names atm for the vote.

Which is why she's not a Battlecast. Battlecast is also an alignment, not just a theme.

Battlecasts serve under Viktor. You wouldn't name yourself as a member of the group you're fighting against. That shows that you were unable to break free from your oppressors.

Yeah I'm fighting for the freedom of all battlecasts under the name of battlecast versus viktor's battlecasts.

Personally, i think since she is fighting the Battlecast squad, she shouldnt be called Battlecast. It should be something else. Either something that reflects their fighting or something that says she is using destroyed bots. Scavenger or something like that. I dunno

I think BC is the one that doesn't fit. Since Illaoi was someone who devoted her life to her religion and (I assume) found the Idol by destiny, it would make sense for a skin of her discovering the idol in space or a temple. Her taking the skull from a Battlecast and suddenly finding a god makes little sense.

But I will agree it looks cool.

Probably will get changed, as Riot said none of the details are 100% solid yet. They gave general names. Adventurer Illaoi might be changed to Illoindiana Jones :^)

Personally voted for explorer cuz it's my favourite out of the three.

I do like the design of the other two, but i'm not really into scifi unless it's Fallout/Battle Angel Alita type of stuff where it's more gritty or even makeshift compared to the sleek/fancy hightech bullshit. The battlecast Universe kinda delivers on that and i think they're all really cool. The problem i have with it is that it's called battlecast while she's clearly opposing Viktor and his battlecast.

I'm not good with names but something like Destroyer Illaoi seems more fitting considering the leader is Creator Viktor.

Her idol could also be shaped in a more birdlike form maybe, referencing the battlecast anivia we never saw.

They did say that nothing (especially the names) is final. It's most likely called Battlecast because it's the universe the skin is set in. When they are done developing on it, it will most likely have a different name, something like Resistance Illaoi or something like that, as the Battlecast lore states that: "Viktor is rivalled by Jayce's Resistance". source
