In Kalista's lore I noticed this line.
"Through their bond, the sword-wife saw her differently, glimpsing the noble warrior she had been in life: tall and proud, her armor gleaming. Her posture was confident, yet without arrogance; a born leader, a born soldier."
I think it would be a fun little thing for Kalista's soul bound teammate to see her how she was before she became the spear of vengeance.
That would be kinda cool. And would ensure that you REALLY know you were bound (like the spectral chain wasn't clue enough...).
Main down side would be added time to develop any new skins. And for relatively marginal benefit. And should Kalista see herself this way as well?

Cool idea, but riot will never do it because it wont give them any money and besides, don'T talk about adding lore to the game, they dont give a shit
From a gameplay standpoint, I'm pretty sure that Kalista's soulbound already sees Kalista in a different light.
This idea is similar to Justicar Aatrox. The clan he saved saw him as a hero; like Justicar Aatrox. But to everyone else he was a monster.
Kalista needs a Justicar skin.
I love this idea and believe it should be incorporated into several champs. Anyone playing as Jhin should see things as beautiful and artistic, while others see the reality of his sadistic carnage. There are a ton of ways Riot could implement this "independent perspective" without hindering game-play at all... not that they care much for visuals hindering gameplay (ever have to play against a headhunter nidalee with your graphics settings at low? her spears are nearly invisible!)
Kalista isn't one person. "She" is a collective of the souls who sought vengeance.

Interesting idea but unfortunately wouldn't happen simply because Riot wouldn't make any money off of this.
It would be awesome (although unlikely because of the time needed to make a second version of the skin for each skin).
I wonder what you think about a middle of the road solution in terms of difficulty of making it and still being awesome. How cool would it be if they did a different icon in game for kalista's soul bound, and even better, maybe different splash art for loading screens that people who are friends and qued w/ the kalista will see when the game loads in.
