Hi everyone! So, I was thinking today, and I was like "yea, forget that, we're doing a female today". If you don't know what I am talking about, I mentioned something in a previous idea yesterday about me taking a break from female concept, but forget that. Anyways, I present Miranda, the Essence Reaper.
Homeland: Bildgewater (taking a different view on the people of Bildgewater :D)
Friends / Allies:
Enemies:
,
Class: Mage (as usual, big mage fan. Thinking about making a top lane soon!)
Lane: MID or SUPP
> _**Powers**_
Passive: Power Absorption
Every couple of seconds, Miranda is granted a shield that absorbs 20-25% of an enemy's attack. The damage is then redirected as mana for Miranda's use. Shield power depends on much health Miranda is missing.
Cool down: 18 seconds
Q: Soul Bolt
Range: 1175
Mana: 60/80/100/120/140
Miranda launches a powerful bolt in a targeted direction. The bolt burns the first target hit dealing 65/105/145/185/225 (+ 0% AD and 50% AP) magical damage and slowing them by 20/25/30/35/40%. The ability then redirects 30/35/40/45/50% of the MS lost towards Miranda for 1.5 seconds.
Cool down: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds
W: Devastation Field
Range (active): 975
Range (passive): 520
Mana: 70/85/100/115/130
Passive: Miranda creates a field around her that lashes out at those around her. Their field deals 15/20/25/30/35% of her AP per attack. The field only attacks once every 3 seconds. Additionally, after five rounds of attacks of this passive ability, the field will heal Miranda for 25/30/35/40/45% of the damage dealt.
Active: Miranda draws in her field, immobilizing her. After a 1 second delay, she unleashes it dealing damage to those around in a circle. The damage is worth 60/110/160/210/260 (+ 0% AD and 45% AP) magical damage.
Note: After using her active, the passive doesn't return until after the cool down has ended. If this ability is cancelled by hard CC (knock-ups, silences, etc.) Miranda will suffer a cool down.
Cool down: 14/12.5/11/9.5/8 seconds
E: Life Channel
Range: 975
Mana: 90 (all levels)
Miranda tosses a hungering essence towards a target (this ability will seek people recently affected by Devastation Field, meaning it targets people {champions} hit within the last 1.5 seconds). Life Channel will interact with W creating a magical explosion dealing 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 0% AD and 55% AP) magical damage in the area around the target. If cast on someone not recently affected by Devastation Field, Life Channel will instead slowly burn the target for a grand total of 45/90/135/180/225 (+ 0 AD and 45% AP) over the course of 2.5 seconds.
Cool down: 11/10/9/8/7 seconds
Note: You only get one effect, not both.
R: Dark Blessing
Range: 975
Mana: 110
Miranda lashes out at the ground with powers (AoE). The ability quickly burns the surrounding enemies (champions) for 150/200/250 (+ 0% AD and 55% AP) magical damage. Then, that damage is then redirected towards allies as a shield worth 15/20/25% of the damage dealt. This ability fires around her and shields allies in the AoE during the 1st half of the power.
Cool down: 140/120/100 seconds
(Not my work, just used for visuals)
This would be her basic skin. For a release skin for purchase, I think we could have Witch Doctor Miranda to fit the Bildgewater skin line for the Burning Tides event (Cut Throat Graves, Cut Purse Twisted Fate, Captain Fortune, Captain Gangplank).
**Stats: **
Health: 590 (+85 per level) Health Regeneration: 7.2 (+0.57 per level) Attack Speed: 0.625 (+1.4% per level) Attack Damage: 56.08 (+3.1 per level) Movement Speed: 345 Armor: 24.25 (+3.2 per level) Magic Resist: 30 (+0.5 per level)

Lore (written by MG Guardian):
_ Bilgewater: The city of cutthroats and thieves, orphans and gutterrats. If you could name a city more infamous for its murderers, bounty hunters, and sailors, then you have never been to Bilgewater. Those who sail out to sea set their eyes on the bounty of a ship's hold and a fight to the death. Those who stay are known as the stain on the world. The urchins who line the streets are always waiting, and all it takes is one man's misplaced attention to lose his pocket's worth of plunder. However, not all of those born of that place are destined for the depths of the Blackwater._
With nothing to her name but a knife and a silver serpent, Miranda went from street urchin to the most infamously renown witches that Bilgewater has ever seen. All it took was picking the wrong man's pocket. Most men and women who make port in BIlgewater are doing so with a hold full of coin or with nothing at all. Either way, both end up at the closest place for a drink. When they make their way back to the ship with ale in their belly and a drunken haze on their mind, they never mind when they're missing a coin or six - until the next day, anyway.
When Miranda was looking for her next target to relieve some coin off of, she found her last target: The well-dressed bearded man who looked like he could bring in some serious coin. She had done this plenty of times before, and it going wrong was not on the cards for her. She walked up to the man and slashed his pocket, ready to relieve him of the change he carried around. Miranda didn't expect there to be so many serpents in the man's pockets, so when they all came tumbling out, she could not stop them all from raining onto the ground. Before she could turn and run, the man's arm flashed out before he had even turned his head and gripped Miranda's arm. He turned around to face her, his bloodshot eyes narrowing in on her. His breath smelled of ale and citrus as he grinned at her. Fear gripped Miranda as he fingered his pistol before pulling his cutlass on the girl.
Miranda had never felt fear like this before. It seemed to grip her heart in a vice, and that coil seemed to grow and grow in her chest. She struggled more desperately, the feeling building pressure inside. The man only laughed, and as he swung his sword towards her arm, Miranda screamed. The fear in her chest seemed to explode as that pressure in her chest finally released. An explosion of blackish blue lightning emanated from Miranda's hand and striking the bearded man, throwing both of them away from each other. As the other man lay on the ground in a daze, Miranda recovered much more quickly and ran. Fear seemed to follow in her footsteps: Fear of the man, fear of being caught; and fear of herself and what she just did.
The days that passed following the outburst of magic did not get any easier. Constantly in fear of herself, she lashed out with her magic uncontrollably often. Following the stream of blackened walls and singed stones, most knew to stay away from her lest they fall victim to her untamed power. Miranda had to move around Bilgewater often to avoid the people who hated what she was, and to avoid being attacked just staying in the street. It was during one of these moves that she met the bounty hunters. Their bounty was from the man that Miranda has tried to pickpocket on that day, the Reaver King of Bilgewater. For her "Theft of coin and attempted assassination", they had tracked down Miranda and sought to bring her back for her bounty - "600 silver serpents, dead or alive."
Miranda saw them coming and ran, fear gripping her chest once more. Looking back a few times, she saw them in pursuit. Desperation powered her steps; she did not want to hurt the men anymore than she wanted to use her power once again. So she ran, and keep running. Her mind astray, she did not notice when she walked through a pair of doors into a temple. There were shrines around the room, depicting the form of a strange serpent wrapped in vines or tentacles. The priests in the room ran over to her, calling her a paylangi and trying to force her to leave. Desperate for help, Miranda pleaded for them to help her. Their refusal coupled with the knowledge that the bounty hunters were right behind her only fueled her fear, and before she realised what was happening she lashed out. Dark blue lightning struck out at the priests, knocking them away from Miranda. Her blood ran cold, but as she turned to run away she heard a voice laugh and say "So a paylangi has come to be tested! Let Nagakabouros decide her fate."
Miranda looked back to see the largest woman she had ever seen. Her heavy-set frame seemed to dominate the room, and the golden idol of that same serpent was sitting on her shoulder, seeming to stare at her. She heard the doors behind her close and began to panic, watching as the priests quickly fled from the room. Turning to face the priestess again, fear flooded her as the priestess swung her idol and a blue-green magic burst from it. The magic seemed to grow and grow before it struck Miranda. Pain lanced through her has her spirit was pulled from her chest to stand before the priestess. Miranda's face turned from pain-stricken to pure terror as she watched the same blue-green magic spread around the room. The walls began to form tentacles of that same magic, towering above Miranda before striking down on her.
The tentacle came down fast on Miranda. Diving out of the way, the tentacle narrowly missed Miranda where she had been standing. She had just gotten to her feet before another one came crashing down. And another. And another. The tentacles began raining down faster, and it was all Miranda could do just to roll out of the way. Desperation was fueling her movements, but she was tiring quickly and knew she couldn't do it for much longer. She rolled out of the way of another tentacle, got to her knees and saw another one heading her way. She saw instantly she could not move out of it's path in time. Miranda screamed as it came crashing down on top of her.
The kraken priestess watch in surprise as the tentacle halted its strike on the girl. It seemed suspended not inches from her head. The girl raised her head towards the priestess, and in those eyes Illaoi saw that something inside the girl had changed. They were no longer filled with the fear that had driven her into the temple of Nagakabouros, but eyes filled with iron determination and hatred. Suddenly the room was filled with blackish blue lightning; gripping the tentacles to hold them in place. A black energy lanced down the link between the girl and her soul, filling the spirit with a dark energy that engulfed its whole being. Before the priestess could react, the room exploded, knocking Illaoi against the far wall of the temple. When she awoke, there was no sign of the girl nor her black magic and spirit.
Miranda changed that day. The power that had engulfed her during the test of Nagakabouros had awakened a side of herself that was both alive and dead. In the explosion, the bond between her spirit and vessel had left her soul to vanish. The empty vessel, embracing undeath as it gave up on life, held the entirety of Miranda's power in check with control. Hunted by the Reaver King for her bounty, and chased relentlessly by the kraken priestess, Miranda used her power to make a name for herself in Bilgewater. Her powers along with the story of defying the trial granted her the title of the Essence Reaver. However, living up to that title only meant something to her if it meant she was the last reaver alive. Her hatred, formerly born out of fear but now out of resolve, was now set only on the men and women who got in her way to becoming the true Reaver King.
