Ignis' abilities have been updated. She is almost done, just need to add a few more things.

Hello, welcome to the first draft of my newest idea, Ignis, the Flame Weaver. (Ignis is latin for fire / flame)

Basics:

Homeland: Ionia

Stance: Pure / Evil (She is good to others, but harmful to herself)

Allies: Karma, LeeSin

Rivals: Syndra

**Powers: **

Passive: Spell Burn

Every 20 seconds, Ignis gains the ability to cripple an enemy's next ability. They deal 15% less damage on their next basic ability. This would be applied through landing her next ability, if she misses she looses the ability, but suffers a cool down at 50% reduced time.

Q: Magma Wave

Range: 1150

Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana

Ignis sends forth a searing wave of fire. This passes through units, gaining in damage for each unit hit. The ability stops once hitting an enemy champion or reaching full length. The fire deals 60/100/140/180/220 (+1 AD and 60% of AP) magic damage. The amount gained per unit is 4%.

Update

Her Q now leaves behind a flaming trail that deals 50% of the damage of her Q.

Cool down: 8 seconds

W: Blastwave or Eruption

Range: 975

Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana

Ignis fires a wave outwards in a circle, knocking enemies back and blazing them for 50/80/110/140/170 (+1% AD and 55% AP) magic damage.

W: Eruption (option 2)

Range: 750

Ignis erupts in a blaze of fire, blistering incoming enemies and slowing their movement speed by 20% and dealing 50/80/110/140/170 (+1% AD and 55% AP)

Cool down: 11 seconds

E: Bond of Flame or Fire Fly

Range: 675

Cost: 60/80/100/120/140 mana

Ignis marks a foe with the Bond of Flame. The Bond burns the selected target for 25/35/45/55/65 (1% AD and 25% of her AP) magical damage per second. The ability lasts 3 seconds. She is healed by this effect for 25% of the overall damage inflicted.

If cast after her Q hits an enemy, it deals 25% more damage.

E: Fire Fly (option 2)

Range: 1000

Ignis creates a searing wall of flames that flies down the lane, burning enemies caught within it. Enemies may only be burnt once. If the wall hit enemies recently afflicted by her Q, they are stunned for 1.5 seconds. They are damaged for 40/70/100/130/160 (+ 2% AD and 50% AP) magic damage.

Cool down: 9 seconds

R: Ring of Fire

Cost: 110 mana

Range: 2/3 of the width of Gangplank's circle

Ignis creates a large ring around a targeted area. This ult doesn't deal damage immediately, instead, it gradually closes in around enemies. Enemies hit are stunned and dealt flat damage worth 200/300/400 (+0 AD and 110% AP) magic damage. Enemies may dodge the ability by flashing, hourglass, etc. through it.

Update

The Ring is bond to Ignis' lifeline. If she dies, so does the Ring. Also, the Ring now only closes in a select amount, allowing for some safety while inside of it. Once it reaches the end, it dissipates. Also, the Ring only forms around Ignis' location.

Cool down: 150 seconds

(Check back for more later! Feel free to share your opinions, but please be respectful of my idea. Also, the art below is not my own. It is just used for an example of her appearance) http://imgur.com/7qEqXN0

Stats:

Health: 550.32 (+80 per level)

Health regen.: 5.32 (+0.60 per level)

Attack Damage: 55.08 (+3.5 per level)

Attack Speed: 0.625 (+1.5% per level)

Armor: 22.89 (+3.5 per level)

Magic Resist: 30 (+0 per level)

Lore:

Fire... a raging air of destruction... or an embodiment of peace. All of these represent the power that Ignis wields, how she choose to wield is up to her and the fates.

Ignis was born into wealthy family of great standing and power in Ionia. Her mother was an archmage of great connection to the elements, and her father was the commander of the Ionian armies. Ignis was raised by their values as well as Ionia's.

Much like her mother, Ignis mastered the elements, well, one in particular. Ignis has an unmistakable connection to the element of Fire. Once her powers made their first appearance, her mother taught her everything she knew. How to mend the flame, how to make it part of her, and that she did.

Ignis practiced day-in and day-out, until the tingling sensation of fire was no more familiar than her own heartbeat. Ignis learned how to gather the heat from the air around her and empower it into a raging sea of flames, or how to make it graze her enemies and send them flying backward.

The Elders of village watched as her power grew, and one day, they gathered the city in honor of Ignis. Her family brought her to the center of the city, Ignis' brows rose curiously at that sight of the group gathered in the village's forum. Her face grew crimson as the people turned and bowed deeply before her.

She walked, for what felt like forever, towards the village's Elders. Once she finally managed to get to the center of the circle, the Elders themselves bowed before her, an act that sent her into shock. The Elders had bowed before her. Ignis quickly returned the bow.

As she rose back to face the Elders, they shared one warm glance, before spoke in perfect unison. Their voices were wise and old and seemed to hold some other worldly power. Ignis almost could believe what they were saying. Within a matter of minutes, Ignis went from being the daughter of a wealthy family to one of Ionian most powerful arcane warriors.

To this very day, Ignis leads the charge on opposing forces, slashing them down before they can harm her home. Ignis' connection to the element of Fire continued to grow the more she used to, to the point that she wanted more. Her desire to practice her art led her far and wide to the League, where she has become a feared competitor.

One word. OP. That ult is so overpowered and she has so much CC. Her passive is like a Brand ult and she has no distinct playstyle that makes her interesting and new... Her ult is basically Gangplank ult but more overpowered. And W is like Yasuo Wind Wall

Brand

Ignis: Name means fire in latin Brand: Name means 'blaze/fire', 'burning', and 'burned' in Danish, Dutch, German, and Swedish

How is this champion's thematics different from others?

Ignis: Pyromancer Brand: Fire Elemental

Passive: Sounds a lot like Brands R and passive, but with the added annoyance of flames jumping even after the initial effect (range?)

Q: Like the fact that the damage increases compared to other piercing attacks.

W: Sounds like it works like Taliyahs wall from what I can tell. Or does it work like Anivias wall (maybe a bit clearer)? 4 seconds stun seem a bit long though and the CD seems to short.

E: Stealthed flames seem thematically weird IMHO, but I don't know how others see that. Don't like the increasing damage (combined with W you are extremly safe against ganks), but the shorter duration remedies that somewhat. Does true sight disable the effect? Is the activation range the AOE effect or the fireballs size?

R: Pretty big form range (GPs R has 600 radius in comparison) Rather short delay for such a big range, very high damage (potential 1000 + 550% AP) and even a stun effect, seem rather overpowered.

If not for Brands existance this would be a pretty good concept

Even now, after changes i don't see anything unique or interesting about her. She's just your typical fire mage. I'm surprised that someone tried to steal this and it got so much attention to begin with when i've seen much more interesting concepts on this forum that got just ignored.

Just me but I think you could add like 1%(Bonus) AD on each ability, it's kinda like the small amounts of AP some ad champs have on their abilities. It makes baron buff have a greater effect. Or at least feel like it.

Assuming on E you mean if the q HITS the enemy that is being targeted? Or just if it just hits anything.

Beyond that as quite a few comments have mentioned that it's a bit two similar to Brand overall & a bit like Veigar for the ult. In general flashing/itemization DOES NOT count as counter play. Especially for AD champions who don't itemize into hourglass.

I recommend making the similar to a thresh ult if you wish to keep that concept for it. IE the wall will dissipate or at least one portion will after hitting someone so there is something of an "Escape route" while good usage or bad teamwork will punish the opposing team heavily. The other path that can be taken for the ult is making it so it doesn't close in all the way. Or if you stay in a small zone in the center you can be "generally" speaking safe, this would allow the opponents to either A) spread out and take the stun, or B) to stay in the center but get chunked by AOE she has in her kit. But if that were the case the knockback on the W would have to be removed.

Overall the concept is good but is a bit too similar to other champions in areas, and needs some stat/balance fixes.

Gj tho :D

Edit Btw your post inspired me to actually try and finish a champ concept I had been working on a while ago (Because I was bored & whatnot) 2000 word's later I have finished (bad as it may be) Can you please give me some advice D: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/bbMK9Uvj-narod-the-manbacionian

Two things: which list is the actual list of her abilities, and two, you may want to read Katsuni's guide on creating champions. It will almost certainly help you flesh out this concept in a way that both makes the idea even better and less oppressive to play against.
