Just as compensation for losing all of that valuable time. I mean, it wouldn't break the ladder. Just give you a little something. (I was gonna ask for 5, but I think 1 will go over better)

Oh no, I wasn't confused about the difference between loose and lose. I was confused about why he was giving me that example. Just felt random... then I noticed that I had "loosing" instead "losing". Fixed now. Just misunderstanding.

Hm... 10 people. Remake = -5 LP for one player, +9 overall for the other 9.

If those 10 continue to cyclically afk then they could potentially climb. You'd be gaining 4 LP per rotation.

Actually when you leave a game you lose the same amount of LP as when you would lose if you actually lost. Therefore you will lose from 10 to 30 LP or something. In none of these cases is it an effective climb, assuming all players remake by themselves. Besides, it is completely inefficient as the amount of time it takes on average is 4 times more than how it normally would take.

Even if people really did this and somehow communicated with their team to do the remake trade, they would end up being completely fucked because in the large scale they'd lose much more LP and get their account status to shit after purposefully AFKing frequently, possibly resulting in suspensions.

They were gonna say yes, but since you don't know what the word "loosing" means, they decided against it. I saw an Ashe "loosing" arrows all game. She wasn't "losing" because most of them hit their targets.

So... a typo of an additional "O" warrants you to say that I don't understand the difference between two different words? Like, mistakes happen. No need to say that I don't understand something. Instead, just point it out:

I wanted to agree and upvote, but the sad truth is throw away accounts would be made, duos formed, and abuse would happen.

So no, we cant have that. Blame assholes/human nature.

I understand your points (and respect them). However, I think Riot might have the ability to implement something to keep people from doing those things. I mean, first off you would have to get that throw away account to lvl 30. The leaverbuster would get dropped on the duos... and I think if Riot implemented something that kept you from getting it every single game, then I think it would work out ok.

(Like you only get this 1 free LP every like X games you play [this could be reset everytime you leave back to the # required]).

If we were to get something like that, it would have to be a +1 LP on a win after 2 remakes, no more than +1 LP a day. I dont get a lot of remakes, but sometimes they come 2-3 in a row. On those days, it would be nice to have a small token for my wasted time.

5-10 minutes can add up when it happens multiple times in a row. If it happens 2-3 times in a row, you can lose anywhere between 10 - 30 minutes that is just gone. That is enough time to play one full round of League, or watch some tv, or do some homework, or do some studying, or do anything else instead of just wasting it hoping to get that one game that doesn't remake. You know, something else you would prefer to do instead of having to remake and try again, and again, and again...

And getting 1 LP is going to change that? I find it extremely hard to believe you'd ever get even two remakes in a row on a regular basis, never mind 3. This is all also far preferable to the alternative of being on a team with a leaver and then having to play an entire game. It honestly boggles my mind how people are bitching about remakes.

I feel like something that messes with the ranking system this much just can't go through, plus it only solves the problem for ranked queues, while the problem is apparent in any other queue as well.

Giving a small amount of BE sounds like a good deal to me instead. Yes, some people have all champions (as do I), but the majority of players will make good use of it.

Imagine if you had 99 lp and really wanted to get to the promos. You queue with your friend who doesn't care about ranked or their acc and they cause a remake so you get 1 lp. Does this sound fair?
