Misty, the Steam Engineer
Misty is a super genius young lady, about sixteen years of age, that lives in a quaint little workshop in Piltover. All of Misty's machines are steam-powered machines, able to make things you never would expect was able to be made and run off of steam at the same time. In a matter of fact, even if someone had the exact blueprints to replicate Misty's machines, they still somehow will not be able to make the machine actually run. Some speculate that Misty may have magic running through her blood without her even knowing that she can wield magic and this may be the reason why she can make machines to run off of steam that otherwise should not, but who knows for sure.
Misty is a ranged engineering mage where she can construct machines with different machines. To be precise, her passive let's her either just use her ability on self or on an enemy and deal damage and other effect from there OR... Misty can place her basic abilities on the ground and construct a machine, when she places 3 basic ability machines together then the machine is formed with multiple different combinations of machines, there is no cooldown initially for when you cast a basic ability on the ground, the cooldowns come in when the machine is made based on the parts used to make the machine.
So Q+Q+Q machine would then cost you 3 times the cooldown of what your Q normally costs and places Q on 3 times its cooldown, and for simplicity sakes, Misty does not have a resource and instead just balanced through cooldowns. Only one created machine in play at a time because you can control it with ALT+Right-Clicking, like a normal pet control scheme. Also what your machine does is vaguely based on the corresponding parts used for it, aka an ability mostly about crowd control will grant the machine crowd control and effectiveness increases with more of that part or damage will make it deal more damage.
In terms of difficulty scale, I will have to place Misty a very high 10/10 to both learn her machine building ways, figure out what machine is best for what situation and just straight up trying to master the champion will take a very long time to do so, especially since you need to learn how to control Misty and your machine at the same time.
Attack Range: 600 units Attack Speed: 0.675 +4% per level Steam Machine's Attack Speed: 0.750 +50% of Misty's bonus attack speed Movement: 340 units per second, Steam Machine matches Misty's movement speed Base Attack Damage: Very low.
Steam Machine (Passive): Build Range: 600 units; Leash: 2000 units Misty can place any of her basic abilities on the ground instead of their normal cast for 30 seconds. Once a base part is in play, Misty can add two more parts to it to form a machine that remains in play indefinitely until destroyed or replaced with a new machine, having 400 - 1000 (+300%AP) health, taking 400% damage from non-epic monsters.
Placing a basic ability on the ground and on the machine to construct it does not place the basic ability on cooldown. Once the machine is completed and constructed then the corresponding abilities are placed on cooldown for every time that ability was used as a part, up to a maximum of 3 times of the ability's cooldown.
Misty's basic attacks will apply Steam on her targets for 6 seconds. The Steam Machine's main attacks will deal 30[+6 per level] (+50%AP) magic damage against targets inflicted by Steam.
(The Steam Machine can be controlled by holding down the ALT key and right-clicking.) (The Steam Machine has an attack range of 475 units.)
S. Blaster (Q): Cooldown: 4 seconds; Range: 650 units Misty blasts the target enemy with steam, dealing 50/70/90/110/130(+50%AP) magic damage and softens up the target for 2 seconds. Steam Machine's next attack will deal 50/70/90/110/130(+50%AP) bonus magic damage against the softened up target one time.
Steam Machine: S. Blaster parts grant an additional attack that always deal 15+3 per level magic damage to a nearby enemy from its main attack target.
If S. Blaster was the base part then Steam Machine deals 50% increased damage for its attacks and dashes.
Suspender (W): Cooldown: 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 seconds; Range: 1200 units Misty fires a suspension cable from her location and Steam Machine's location towards the target enemy's location, each stunning the first enemy struck for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds. Each suspension cable can be dodged.
Steam Machine: Suspender parts grant the Steam Machine 10/15/20/25/30% slow per part for 1.25 seconds for its attacks.
If Suspender was the base part then Steam Machine's Suspender and attacks gain 25/50/75/100/125 bonus range and will pull in its target 180/210/240/270/300 range, this can occur once every 6 seconds against the same target.
(Only Steam Machine's main attack can pull in an enemy.)
Rocket Nozzle (E): Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds; Range: 0 units; Max Jump: 400 units Misty targets herself, strapping on a rocket nozzle to her back that causes her to always move forward and have restricted control over her movement for the next 4 seconds, gaining 60/70/80/90/100%(+15% per 100AP) increased total movement speed for the duration and able to jump over most terrain while jetting forward.
If Steam Machine is in play, then it will instantly zip to Misty's location and she jumps on it instead, creating the same outcome.
Steam Machine: Rocket Nozzle parts grant the Steam Machine a 250 range dash per part every 2 seconds while it is moving, dealing 60/90/120/150/180(+70%AP) magic damage to enemies it passes through.
If Rocket Nozzle was the base part then Steam Machine moves 50% faster.
(Cast Rocket Nozzle again to stop Misty from jetting forward, ending the effect.)
Drilling Cannon (R): Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds; Range: 3000 units The Steam Machine pulls out a massive cannon from its back, after 1 second of charging in place, fires a powerful blast of water in the target direction dealing 150/200/250(+80%AP) magic damage to struck enemies and an enhanced effect based on its base part:
S. Blaster: Deals 150/200/250(+80%AP) bonus magic damage and applies Steam for 6 seconds.
Suspender: Grounds and slows by 95% for 1.5/2/2.5 seconds.
Rocket Nozzle: Reduces armor and magic resistance by 30/45/60% for 6 seconds. Steam Machine's next dash gains double range and double speed.
(Drilling Cannon cannot be cast if Steam Machine is currently not in play.)
UPDATE NOTES:
Steam Machine: Attack range decreased to 475 from 500 units
Suspender: Changed the wording from suspension rope to suspension cable Slow duration increased to 1.25 seconds from 1 second Base part bonus changed from 2 seconds slow duration Base part bonus is now granting Steam Machine 25/50/75/100/125 bonus range to its attack and Suspender (only Steam Machine's Suspender gains bonus range, not Misty's) and pulls in its target 180/210/240/270/300 range once every 6 seconds against the same target for Steam Machine's Suspender and main attack. Maximum range for Steam Machine's Suspender and attacks: 1225/1250/1275/1300/1325 and 500/525/550/575/600 units respectively.
(Just a slow duration increase was bland and uninteresting, not to mention would get overlooked by its other two options between increased damage or increased movement speed respectively. So this will hold its weight as a compelling option to take, granting an actual decision making process and trade-off to choose which base part bonus to choose and which two to give up for that Steam Machine.)
