Lore Many worlds have been consumed by The Void, but it wasn't until the creatures greatest weakness has been snuffed out that a world becomes fully consumed. All void beast are weak to light, or rather all but one. Dim'Xi is that one. In fact, he eats light. It is with the appearance of Dim'Xi that The Void finally wins. His unique digestive system can convert raw magic into light. Upon his escape from the darkness of The Void, he consumes all the light and magic he can find. Once all of the magic on a world has been consumed, he will finally go after its sun. After he consumes a sun, he will return to The Void to hibernate for 50 void years. The flow of time in The Void is much slower than that of Runeterra. The reason Dim'Xi hasn't escaped The Void is because he is still hibernating, or at least... he was.

Core Concept A melee stealth assassin champion that drools at the sight of abilities being used. The drool is his main tool and acts as a second resource. Spending drool will add bonus True damage to his Q and bonus AoE to his W. Not spending the drool will increase speed. Unfortunately the drool also gives the enemy an idea of where he is, so spending the drool is more stealthy. I would also like to add that he is a little tanky for an assassin, but that is because his lore makes him a natural enemy of Lux and his kit should reflect that. If you think Dim'Xi is too tanky, than blame the OG OP "female dog" ;) ;).

Abilities Passive: Luminescent Drool Range: 1000 Whenever another champion (enemy or ally) uses an ability or whenever Dim'Xi takes a large amount (at least 5% of his maximum health) of magic damage, Dim'Xi will gain a stack of Luminescent Drool. Each stack increases AS and MS by 3%, with a maximum of 10 stacks. If Dim'Xi has at least one stack, than he will leave a drool trail behind himself that takes 4 seconds to dissolve.

Q: Void Bite Cost: 30 mana, half Luminescent Drool stacks (rounded down) CD: 3 seconds Range: 125 Targeting Matrix: Target Creature Dim'Xi bites the target, dealing 80/115/150/185/220 (+80% AD) physical damage and 10/20/30/40/50 True damage per stack of Luminescent Drool spent. Becomes a leap (range: 300) while in stealth.

W: Devour Light Cost: 10/15/20/25/30 mana initial, 2/3/4/5/6 mana per second CD: 4 seconds Range: Self Ability Type: Toggled Toggled Off: Basic attacks steal 1% of the target's maximum mana. Void Bite steals 2% of the target's maximum mana per stack of Luminescent Drool spent. Steals health from monsters instead of mana. Toggled On: Dim'Xi starts to feeds off of all incoming magical attacks. Whenever Dim'Xi takes magic damage, he will heal back 80/90/100/110/120% of the damage taken. Dim'Xi will become vulnerable to physical attacks while feeding, increasing physical damage taken by 80/75/70/65/60%. You can toggle this ability without breaking stealth.

E: Glowing Spit-Ball Cost: 35/45/55/65/75 mana, up to 5 Luminescent Drool stacks CD: 8 seconds Range: 600 Targeting Matrix: Skill Shot Dim'Xi spits in target direction. Upon hitting an enemy or reaching maximum range, the spit ball will explode to deal 50/80/110/140/170 (110% AP) magic damage to all enemies. Effected targets will also be slowed by 40% and also revealed for 4 seconds. The size of the explosion determined by the number of Luminescent Drool stacks spent (100 units per stack). You can use this ability without breaking stealth.

R: Refracting Scales Cost: 20/40/60 mana initial, 5/10/15 mana per second CD: 10 seconds Range: Self Ability Type: Toggled Toggled Off: Increase Tenacity by 30/40/50%. Toggled On: Dim'Xi maneuvers his scales in order to bend all light off of himself. By doing this he makes himself Invisible, gain Immunity to Reveal effects, and enemy projectiles will bounce off him. Enemy projectiles that bounce off Dim'Xi will damage enemies. Stealth--Invisible: Can only be seen by enemies with True Vision.

Summary Damage: Mixed Play Style: Basic Attacks with support from abilities Ranking:

  • Damage: 3 out of 3
  • Toughness: 2 out of 3
  • CC: 2 out of 3
  • Mobility: 2 out of 3
  • Utility: 3 out of 3

Originally designed to be a counter for Lux--and with some added inspiration from Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One)--this reptilian void-beast is the ultimate predator of light and is capable of giving even AurelionSol nightmares. Mages should be wary of him, but physical champions (especially mana-less ones) should have it easier against him. The more you rely on abilities, the harder it will be to fight this guy. He is an excellent jungler assassin, but should be extra careful when ganking the bot lane.

Please let me know what you think of him in the comments below. I really enjoy all feedback you have, and it helps me to make my concepts better. If you like him, then don't forget to vote. Thanks for reading.

Okay, ignoring the ult, that W toggle is absolutely ridiculous. Either you can deal damage to this guy or you can’t. Riducously polarizing, more so than any other champion. Grievous Wounds allows for him to actually take magic damage, but Spirit Visage practically negates even that bit of counterplay.

On the other hand, his ultimate negates ranged auto attacks and any other form of projectile, while bouncing it back. People already cry about Windwall. Now you have one that’s up permanently and is coupled with true stealth, like Akali, but isn’t broken by dealing damage. Meaning he can’t be targeted either and completely ignores turrets. All he has to do is stack mana and then walk people back to their base, killing them with base damage while they can do absolutely nothing.

Ignoring W and R, Q seems pretty good. I’d swap its true damage scaling from per-rank to per-level, just to be on the safe side. You cold also increase the dash range a bit.

E seems like a pure utility tool unless you build AP, then it’s a good lategame nuke. Compare to Lucian’s W. Altogether, though, it doesn’t really fit his kit as anything other than a mid-range catch tool, like Darius’s E.

Currently, this champion’s in-game identity is “stack a tear, farm til 6, build toward IBG, and become practically invincible and permanently invisible”. W and R need complete overhauls.

Now, you may say, “what about his drool? That gives him away in stealth!” If there have been no spellcasts, all he needs to do to stop drooling is fire off an E outside of vision. Even when drooling, he’s still untargetable and invulnerable to magic damage. Plus he doesn’t show up on the minimap.

You should change that CC and Mobility from 2/3 to 1/3. By the way, you haven't created an assassin, you have created an anti-magic Juggernaut. He reminds me a bit of Volibear. But with invisibility, a Volibear with Invisibility.
