Champion Concept: Cha'Khan, The Harbinger of Chaos
Lore Long ago, there was a great warrior of Targon. No one on the mountain could ever defeat him in battle. He was the favorite to become the next Pantheon. But when the previous Pantheon died on the field of battle, it was the warrior's younger brother that was given the honor to step in. The warrior demanded an explanation from the council. The council explained to him that he views war as a game, rushing into battle and slaughtering all that stood in his way. A true Pantheon should only see war as art. Outraged by this, the warrior retreated to the forest at the base of the mountain to train.
Now that the gods has granted his brother the blessing that comes with being the paragon of war, there is no way he could ever defeat him again. As he trained, he shouted out all of his frustration until finally and announced, "If I can't be the paragon of war, than the nobody can!" It was then that he heard a voice. The warrior looked up to see a tear in the sky. From the tear he saw an eye as big a house. The eye offered him the power that he craved, but in exchange he must pledge his life in eternal servitude. Pleased by the promise of power, he happily agreed. At that moment, a purple crystal flew out of the tear and into the warrior's chest. Chaotic energy flowed throughout the warrior's body from the crystal. Purple tattoos grew out from the crystal like lines. His skin turned a deep blue. His eyes turned red and his pupils became slanted like a snake's. His hair wildly grew to past his shoulders. The chaotic energy even flooded into the warrior's mind. Luckily, his will held.
Once the transformation was complete, the warrior was granted the name Cha'Khan by his new master. Then, his master commanded Cha'Khan to use his new power to finish opening the tear, allowing himself and other monsters to escape and assist Cha'Khan with his revenge. But just as he was about to start,
showed up behind the rift and used his power to close it. This infuriated the reborn warrior even more, and he knew exactly who was at fault. So he went on a chaotic rampage all over the mountain. Even his own brother was powerless to stop him. It was then that the council performed a forbidden ritual that summoned the Chains of Eternity, restraining Cha'Khan to a pair of large boulders. His brother requested that they spare Cha'Khan and instead lock him away until they can find a cure for his condition. But the chains had an unforeseen side effect. The Chains of Eternity has the power to self sustain itself. Over the years, the chains would fuse with Cha'Khan. Now the chains sustain Cha'Khan's life as well.
Decades later, Cha'Khan was discovered by a floating man with purple eyes. The man called himself a prophet. The prophet freed Cha'Khan, and explained that they serve the same master. But the prophet can communicate with their master, and he delivered to Cha'Khan a new order. An order to find The Watchers.
