Champion Concept: Wylie, The Daredevil

Lore Wylie doesn't feel more alive than when he's staring death in the face. Always in search of the greatest thrill rush, he constantly puts himself in mortal danger. Most of the time he would come out unscathed. When he doesn't he would find some mad scientist and have him patched together. Sometimes he would get a few improvements, which adds to his excitement. Wherever danger is found, Wylie will be there... laughing in insane joy.

Core Concept Build up Thrill. Each basic ability has an active and a passive. Basic abilities passive effects improves sustain, increased by current amount of Thrill. Basic ability active effects spends a percentage of current Thrill and are improved by how much is spent. Idea is to rush into danger, and being scary strong doing so.

  • Damage: 3 out of 3
  • Toughness: 2 out of 3
  • Mobility: 3 out of 3
  • CC: 2 out of 3
  • Utility: 2 out of 3

Abilities

Passive: Thrill of Battle Build Thrill by dealing damage, taking damage, and killing enemies (Maximum 100). So long as Wylie is below 50% health, all Thrill generation is doubled. Upon leaving combat, loss 5 Thrill per second. Whenever Thrill is either lost or spent, heal self X% of missing health, where X is equal to the amount of Thrill that was lost or spent.

  • Dealing or Taking damage generates 5 Thrill on hit.
  • Killing a non-champion, non-epic monster enemy generates 10 Thrill.
  • Killing a champion or epic monster generates 25 Thrill.

Q: Taser Fist Cost: 10% current Thrill CD: 6 seconds. Range: NA Passive Basic attacks deal bonus magic damage equal to 4/8/12/16/20(+1% AP)% of current Thrill. Active Empowers the next basic attack to deal 20/40/60/80/100(+60% AP)(+50% AD) bonus magic damage and stun for 0.1 second per Thrill spent.

W: Second Wind Cost: 20% current Thrill CD: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds Range: NA Passive Gain bonus Armor and MR equal to 10/20/30/40/50(+5% AD)% of current Thrill. Active Remove all Crowd Control from self and gain a shield for 5 seconds. The shield's health is equal to 100/150/200/250/300(+10% AD)% of the amount of Thrill spent. Can activate while under any CC effect.

E: Thrill Rush Cost: 20% current Thrill CD: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Range: 30 units per Thrill spent Passive Gain up to 40/45/50/55/60% bonus AS based on current Thrill amount. Active Dash to target location, dealing 40/60/80/100/120(+80% AD) physical damage to all enemies Wylie dashes through.

R: PARTY DIVE!!! Cost: 0 Thrill CD: 240/180/120 seconds Range: 600 units AoE: 200 unit radius Leap to target location, dealing 200/400/600(+30% AD)(+40% AP) physical damage and knocks up all enemies in the landing area. Deals half that amount to enemy structures. Wylie cannot be targeted by enemy turrets for 6/7/8 seconds if at least one of them are damaged this way.

This probably isn't an ideal passive.

  1. The moment you mentioned % of missing hp heal, you are kind of suggeting full tank build, which is probably nowhere close to what you want
  2. "Dealing or Taking damage generates 5 Thrill on hit." So... this will break his laning (despite him sounding like a jungler). You go up to trade with only 50 thril, all the minions attack you, then you suddenly have 80+ (the caster minions aren't going to stop attacking anytime soon). Considering how much he gains from gaining thril, you should probably limit this to "dealing damage to all units or taking damage from champions generates 5 Thrill on hit."
  3. ^, again, is encouraging for you to build tank, since it might take you 3 seconds to get to max Thrill, and you use w, then suddenly you just gained something like 10% hp... This is even stronger then Mao'kai.

My suggestions: Instead of "Heal self for X% of missing health," what if you make it heal self for x% when out of combat, and in combat make it heal x/2%? It would be much more balanced. He sounds like a brusier, but his e is an ability for assassins (cough cough akali). Dealing the same damage too all units it passes through is also unhealthy (akali again), so making it "30% damage reduction to all subsequent units" will probably be a little better (but if you actually want him to be an assassin, change that w... 50 flat armor and mr is no joke for an assassin) His q's passive is also a bit weak if the player decides to go off-meta ap build, rising the 1% to 2% will help a lot.

and personally, I think devils are associated with blood-thirsty and things like that, so perhaps add a life steal in there somewhere? Of course, this is a pure subjective opionion, there is no actuall need for it lol.

Nice concept over all (btw what happened to ult's passive? or there isn't suppose to be one since it technically isn't a normal ability)
