ATTENTION: I want to address this point. I am a story teller first and foremost and the champion's addition to the game is mostly moot to me, but it is important to leave feedback on the lore, abilities, and anything with which one may disagree on. I devote all my mental capacity to the Lore which is reliant upon his abilities. Leave any and all critique as voting and leaving does not advance my writing skills. This tale and champion rely heavily upon the tale of Reman, The Tormented Soul and on Shadow and Fortune . Depending on the feedback, the tale of the Reborn Order will continue in a separate thread in a different way. Once again: ANY AND ALL CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED.

LORE: A water droplet descended from the dark, vaulted ceiling onto the passing man beneath. He stopped and looked up, hood falling off his head. With brown eyes, the man studied the cracked and overgrown roof. Mumbling, the middle-aged man continued down the corridor into the Council Chambers. The Reborn Order had recently lost its backing from Bilgewater with the annihilation of Gangplank and his Jagged Hooks and could hardly afford to renovate. The man stopped at a large set of dark oak doors framed by silvery metal. The doors leading to the council members with which he had an appointment. Breathing deeply and securing his blade, he forced the barriers inward. The five, white hooded Elders turned their gazes towards the newcomer.

"You're late, Moore." said Sabir, the eldest of the five.

Grimacing, Moore proceeded forth towards the ivory podium in the center of the chamber. The Elders remained silent for what seemed an eternity until Aivor Moore, first Shade Hunter of the Shadow Isles, spoke.

"My bretheren, clensing be unto you and the world." An introductory invocation to begin any meeting of import.

"So let it be." intoned the Elders as they took their places in five marble thrones. Moore continued to what he had deemed dire news.

"The Reborn Order tells tales of various victims of Thresh, the Chain Warden himself. One tale tells of a man named, Reman." Tamarla and Jairn grew stiff at the mentioning of the name. The sibling Elders were particularly on edge regarding this specter.

"Reman was once a naturally gifted user of magic who honed his skills to be a greatly skilled healer in the Blessed Isles, until the Ruined King wrought his spell of undeath upon the land. That day Thresh collected many souls with the intent to satisfy his sadistic cravings, but Reman was released back into the Shadow Isles. It is unknown if this soul who was tormented by Thresh for years escaped the lantern or was simply released. It matters not, as, upon his release, he became the Tormented Soul. A vessel that lacked any identity, consumed fully by the mists. A puppet. Reman has been seen various times, but noone has ever engaged in combat with the specter as he simply puffs into the Black Mist as if he were made of the evil creation." The Elders shuffled uncomfortably for a moment, likely guessing what Moore's intention was.

"Only recently has Reman been unleashed to kill any who venture into the mists. Wherever he walks, the Mist seems to follow. Past reports, dismissed as paranoid delusions, now seem to have merit. Reports of Black Mists on the mainland during times where the Harrowing was months away now, I believe, can be traced to this mysterious figure named Reman. With Nagakaborous directly intervening this Harrowing, the Black Mist has been denied its due of souls and still hungers. It is my belief that Reman is a vehicle that brings the Black Mists anywhere it goes, not in the scale of a harrowing, but enough to swallow a small village. If allowed to roam unchecked, the Harrowing may become a more fearsome event in the near future. So now I request permission from the Reborn Order to hunt down Reman, the Tormented Soul."

Silence. Moore stood there for another eternity as the Five shuffled in their seats and glanced with unsure looks towards each other. Finally Jairm spoke.

"Moore," began the beefy armed man. You could never have guessed that he, in the Order, was as capable of magic as he was with that bastard sword on his back.

"You are aware that, including you, we only have four Shade Hunters in the whole of Runeterra?"

"I am aware of this." Moore replied calmly. The only Shade Hunters among the Elders were Jairn and Tamarla.

"Then," said Tamarla, "Why in damnation do you want to risk your life to hunt another shade instead of recruiting or seeking new relics with which we can push the Shadow Isles back?" The Noxian was far too free with her tongue.

Frowning, Moore asked, "Did you not heed my report? The Tormented Soul will swallow this land and may very well extend the borders of the Black Mist next Harrowing."

"That is not fact, only conjecture." retorted Jalfstein. The loudest voice among the Elders, if you persuaded him then you would have managed to have the rest on your side days ago.

"Elder Jalfstein is correct." replied Sabir. "We cannot act recklessly and allocate resources to a guess, furthermore how do you intend to fight Reman? Do you intend to just hope that your blade will be able to let him be cut?"

Moore looked down at his black and silver hilt and its green gemstone pommel. "Statera has not failed me yet." said Moore, looking up.

Leaning forward in her chair, the wife of Sabir spoke in her motherly and condescending way, "Moore, you may be the first of the Reborn Order, but even you have had trouble. Didn't you oft say that Statera can be particularly double-edged?"

Moore said nothing at her words. Statera's particular abilities were not something natural to the original weapons he had commissioned and it frightened many. Not him though. Caressing the hilt of his serpentine sabre, he spoke again.

"Statera was the mightiest of the seventeen Shade Hunter tools. It is true that in her last battle of note she was... afflicted, but she is by no means disloyal."

Raising her eyebrows at his words, Kainau spoke again, "'Not disloyal'?" Her tone agitated him. "Upon rediscovering you she immediately infused herself for combat."

"Give us a break, Kainau." Moore said flatly, "We had just put our foe to rest and were still on edge."

She raised her hands, conceding for now. The Five whispered amongst themselves to reach a consensus or, more likely, to set another time to convene. Moore did what he could to keep his annoyance reined in. This was taking an intolerable amount of time and he itched to fight again. The Elders had stopped conversing and turned to him.

"Aivor Moore of the First Order, step forward." Moore moved to kneel before the center throne and Eldest Sabir.

"We will agree to your mission," Had Moore heard that right? Slipping in his composure he looked up sharply, stunned. ",but in exchange you will do one thing for us."

"Name it, Eldest Sabir." Replied Moore who bowed his head once more.

"Shade Hunter Lucian, your apprentice, still seeks the unlife of Thresh to avenge Hunter Senna's death and is preparing to sail to the Shadow Isles." Moore ground his teeth at this news. The man could never let go of a grudge and was decidedly stone headed. Like me, he thought.

Sabir continued, "Bring back Shade Hunter Lucian and his weapons before he enters the Black Mists and we will permit your request. Now go, and may the light keep you warm against the night." Moore stood up, bowed his head to each Elder, and departed from the chamber.

"So what do you intend to do?" asked a feminine voice.

Moore glanced down at Statera. Her gem was glowing softly in the darkened corridor.

"Do?" he asked.

"About the Elders." replied Statera. "You know that meeting went too easily. They're planning something."

Keeping his eyes forward, he spoke to her mentally. "At the moment, nothing. I can't react until they actually do something and if I devote all my attention to what they might do, I will inhibit my own ability to assess the situation appropriately." He grimaced. "Besides, they probably are doing this in the hopes that once I tell Lucian to return, he will try to get us to remain."

Statera chuckled softly at his words. "Lucian and Senna were always fond of talking back to us. Always throwing our own words and philosophies right back to their source." Moore, kept a stoic face and mental status causing Statera to sigh. "Does nothing drive you to passion any longer? That memory deserves at least some amusement."

"Do you think he will blame us for her death, Statera?" he asked in a whisper. "If we were there then maybe..."

Statera was silent and let her gem grow dimmer. Moore continued through the dilapidated, yet sanctified ruins of the deep as he reached a peculiar room. A domed chamber, decorated with carvings of five robed men wielding spheres of light. In the center of the room was a shrine containing a floating blue gem. It was chipped in various locations, but it remained uncracked. Statera's gem used to be blue before...

"No thinking of that." Statera said softly, gem growing slightly brighter.

Moore stared at that radiant, blue stone for a moment longer before kneeling before the crystal while setting the image of Bilgewater in his mind. After a flash, he no longer resided in the rounded chamber.

Moore, the Equalizing Strike is a soldier in a long black and silver military uniform. Statera, his sabre, will have varying flashes of light which will be conjoined to her abilities and interactions. He is a melee brawler with the ability to bring enemies and allies alike down to a manageable level. Numbers are far from my field and

ALL FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED AND ENCOURAGED.

Passive: Statera's Soul

  • Statera's gem will shine a constant green after 5 seconds without being engaged in combat with an enemy champion. With a shining gem, Moore's next auto-attack will deal bonus physical and magic damage (scales to respective AD/AP stats) or will alter Moore's next non-ultimate ability. Upon use, Statera's Gem will recharge. Statera's Soul will give attacks/abilities a green soul-like effect.

Q: Swift Slash

  • Unsheathing Statera in the blink of an eye, Moore slashes in an area in front of him immediately. If Statera's gem is alight, Swift slash will deal bonus damage while slowing enemies hit and gaining increased range.

W: Holy Fervor

  • Moore unsheathes Statera and empowers her, causing her to glow green and to deal bonus damage on the next three auto-attacks or one ability. If Statera's gem is alight, the empowered Holy Fervor will allow for five empowered attacks and amplify one ability significantly. Upon using Holy Fervor, Statera will take 15 seconds before she is once again ready.

E: Statera's Charge

  • Wielding Statera, Moore will prepare to dash forward and strike all in his path. The distance dashed will vary depending on how far the player "draws back". Holding the E button, dragging back will determine how far Moore will dash opposite the cursor. If Statera's gem is alight, Moore will preform a spinning slash for two rotations once he finishes his dash while dealing bonus damage.

R: Equalize

  • Statera's gem will flash brightly, causing an area (700 units) to be Equalized. Any champions hit by the ultimate will have their BASE stats reduced to 0 and give a BASE health/mana of 100 for 15 seconds.

INTERACTIONS Reman: We meet again; Statera has longed for your death, abomination; No demons to help you now; We will see you to rest; This time, you will fall to us!

Lucian : Your mission is futile, Lucian; Senna is gone. return with me, Lucian; I will not aid you; The Elders demand your return; (Upon dying to Lucian) As bull headed as I am...; (Upon killing Lucian) This was the only way...; I'll take those weapons back even if I cannot get you back!

Illaoi : Your god has unleashed evil upon this land again; Nagakabouros let you breathe for a day only to have all breath cease on the morrow; Illaoi, do you truly understand your god?

Karthus : Singer...; Shut up and sleep; Karthus, you've no loyalty to the Kindred. Why keep the staff?; Where is he, Singer.

Kalista : We seek not vengeance, just to finish a job; Stay out of our way.

Thresh : Lucian hunts you, reaper; If I lay you to rest, then Lucian will return; There is no escape, Thresh.

Early Game Moore is a melee brawler with an exceptional amount of damage in trade for tankiness. In the early game, it is recommended to begin with your Q: Swift Slash to allow for some ranged harass and farming if needed. Upon reaching level 2, one should get W: Holy Fervor to be able to either amplify your ability or to follow up after using the Gem Q. Bear in mind that enemies can also see when Statera is ready.

The Key While using a passive assisted ability is effective, it is more important to keep a mental timer of when the gem will alight once more. Since the enemy can see when you have the passive, this skill is vital to one's success. An additional thing to note is that if you charge the E: Statera's Charge and the passive alights after it is charged, the passive WILL NOT APPLY TO THE E allowing an ensured slow upon arrival.

Mid Game Upon reaching this stage of the game, Moore will have significant ganking potential. If able to get behind a target (after empowering already), It is recommended to have already used your gem before the enemy needs to run. If an enemy seems to be escaping, charge up E: Statera's Charge to get onto the enemy and, hopefully, have the gem up in time to be able to apply the Q slow. Bear in mind that a passive assisted W will grant the ability to attack 3 of the 5 times and then allow a use of 1 ability.

Teamfights At this stage, Moore's R: Equalize could turn the tide for the enemy or for your allies. Obviously, you would have to initiate with this ability, before your team can get entangled. After empowering, you can E into the fray and ult only the enemies and yourself. Since the ultimate only reduces the base health and does not affect additional stats gifted by items, it will ensure that some will still be tankier or more damaging to you.
