My Tryndamere Rework idea

If you just want to read the rework just scroll to the bottom.

Tryndamere was my very first champion when i started playing league around season 3-4 he was simple and had my type of play style. He was unstoppable if fed and could easily 1v1 most champs. Even now he can be a op no skill champ if fed, but he not really viable anymore with all these new champions that are out now.

He cant really go top anymore because he can just get run over by champs like

TeemoRiven TahmKench Gnar Garen Fiora

or out heal by champions like

Illaoi NasusRenekton YorickAatrox Darius

I don't always get destroy when facing these guys at top, but there only like 40% success rate when I fight them. I am not the best trynd player.

He mostly nothing but auto attacks. which in theory would make him better as a jungler, but even there he not viable anymore. All these new champs have some sort of escape and supports have crazy cc. the only way for him to have a successful gank if your team mates cc your opponents. I know trynd has a slow but it only works if he behind the enemy with. It isn't hard to use, but usually they are already at their tower when you actually get to use it. Sure you can say he can use his spin dash to help get closer but than they would just use there on escape ability or some sort of cc.

It would just be better to play auto attack likeMasterYiUdyrJax .

The only thing that makes tryndamere some what still playable and op is his ultimate. which can easily be stop by cc. He is useless in a 5v5 team fight and the only thing you can use him for is to split push, but yi can do a better job doing and he can team fight. he pretty much useless to the team if he plays bad or get outplay and not able to get any goal.

this rework that i came up has the goal in mind to make him more viable as a top laner or jungler again and to not be super op. As well to stop making spilt pushing his only option to win. He's a warrior not a back door coward. this is not to taken seriously, if riot does see this they can mess it around anyway they want. He really needs a rework.

passive:

Battle fury: it pretty much the same but now his crit damage is 150% instead 200% and max crt chance increase to 40 at 100 fury.

Q Blood lust: new passive when he crit he nows heals for (5/10/15/20/25) + 5% of damage dealt. passive is turn of when in cool down.

active is still the same.

W Fury shout: almost like mocking shout, but he no longer lower his enemy attack damage he now gains 5/10/15/20/25 attack damage and slow is now 30/31/32/33/35% the effects are double if he has 100 fury

E Spinning Slash is the same. maybe a shorter cd.

Update: if he spins on a target that is running away from him they bleed for few seconds.

update his ultimate.

R Undying Rage : Tryndamere gain a shield equal to his maximum health*current fury for 5 seconds. if he doesn't kill a enemy champion by then he is stun. If he gets an assist the stun if half. can still be use while stun/silence.

There you have it. let me know what you guys/gals think.

I agree Tryndamere needs a rework. His kit is old, stale, and has little to no counter play. Tryndamere needs to have a more defined role then just 'split pusher'. I believe that Trydamere should be rewarded for being aggressive. In my eyes this champion is a savage warrior who is focused on violence. I believe his kit should stall pretty much the same, and I believe you do as well based on the kit you have written.

Yeah as much as I believe trynd is a no skill champion and super easy to play as. He not really a threat anymore. I also agree he needs a rework, but maybe he needs a new ult as well.

I got a new idea for his e. Don't take it seriously it just something I came up with. When he spins on the enemy that is running away form them they bleed for a certain amount of damage.

Here is what I think a Tryndamere Rework should be.

Passive move Undying Rage as an active to Battle Fury

Q leave as is

W instead of damage loss should be defense loss. He already gain AD from Q (base on how much fury you use)

New E Rage Blade Tryndamere's next Auto-Attack has varying effects depending on current amount of Rage. 0-25: Deals 50/80/110/140/170 (+0.9 bonus ad) physical damage to all units in a straight line. 26-50: Deals 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.9 bonus ad) physical damage to all units in a straight line 51-75: Deals 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.9 bonus ad) physical damage to all units in a straight line, slowing them by 50% for 0.5s. 76-100: Deals 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.9 bonus ad) physical damage to all units in a straight line, slowing them by 80% for 0.75s, and gaining an attack speed bonus equal to 25/50/75/100/125% of the consumed rage for 4s. Cost: Consumes all rage Cooldown: 10

Ult possibly damage ability in a small to medium range radius maybe modify Spinning Slash (picture Tryndamere spinning like Garen but uncontrolled moving around the AoE.

Please tell me what you think

Trynd's current Q passive is what keeps him alive in fights. If he has reduced/no healing while Q is on cooldown, he will get sht on. You'd be taking away half of his healing source.

His E is fine the way it is. Critical strikes lower the cooldown by a second for each crit.

The only thing I would change is his W to fear and slow enemies, not just slow fleeing enemies. And if Trynd critically hits the enemy while feared, he deals the bleed damage you mentioned.

The biggest issue with balancing Tryndamere is his ult, it's simply too powerful that you can;t do anything meaningful with the rest of the kit becasue if you give a champion that can deny death for five seconds the ability to actually do something besides split push he would be too powerful. Imagine if you gave a champion like Master Yi the ability to not die for five seconds, that's what tryndamere would be like if they gave him meaningful changes. The only way to rework tryndamere is to get rid of the ult but if you get rid of his ult Tryndamere loses his identity. It's why tryndamere hasn't been reworked yet and probably won't be in the near future.

I don't think he needs a rework at all.

And he can outlane any champion besides maybe tahm kench/ryze into high diamond.

Sorry for any grammar mistake I made. I type it on my iPhone. I will edit errors on my pc later. I just had to post my idea, or I wouldn't get any sleep. I am one of those crazy guys.

i got a better idea how about you change your masteries vs certain match ups if they are a problem for you and i will say they need to fix tahm kench shield absorbs way to much and dont even get me started on this non sense thunderlords and graves damage or how poppy w counters 90% of league champs or how voli can build just a ruby health crystal and flip 3 auto bite kill you cause you know a tank building hp should totally be able to use tech 2 ability and 3 autos and win with a level lower then gp and you using the orange heal
