Why can't Kindred have a transforming kit the way that Kayn does :/

They seriously need to rework Kindred from the ground up.

She should have two different kits that alter between her marksmen hypercarry identity, and her skirmisher/tank shred/hunter identity depending on certain conditions. Obviously wollf will predominate her skirmishing aspect.

I've been quite disappointed since Riot tried to take away everything that made her unique. Right now she just feels like a way weaker and generic version of Vayne in the jungle.

Kindred should had never been allowed to have a bow. Instead her basic attacks would have been better if she just sended wolf very quickly to bite her targets.

Because Kayn is two beings wrestling for control, while Kindred is two beings in harmony.

That's why Kindred doesn't transform.

Do you mean she should have a Wolf and a Lamb Transformation?

I think it would be better it Lamb is the skirmisher/tank shred while Wolf could be hyper carry/hunter base on lore wise. Lamp are good against stuff that are willing to face them which are usually something that want to jump on them like a tank or assassin while Wolf chase down those who run away like other squishy targets.

i like kindred. changing the name to lamb would be confusing. kindred sounds better even if you just play lamb. what would make her a bit cooler to play is if wolf darted around talking based on interactions and attacking on his own. i wish her W was her passive.

The problem is also in terms of theme.

Kindred's arrows kill those who accept death, since they're painless. Wolf chases anyone who either runs or fights back. And i'd say that pretty much everything in league either fights back or runs away, so you should have to play wolf at all times.

In order to be more thematically coherent, kindred should have a pretty unique mechanic that deals with how your opponents choose to die. Which could be very interesting.

The good thing about Kayn is that his transformation is permanent. You couldn't do that with Kindred and make it feel natural, both sides of Kindred are always present and it would be strange if you had to decide for one form, wouldn't it?

Transformation champions in the past showed that this mechanic is really hard to balance as long as it is always available. The new generation of transformation champions is making it more situational, giving the user less tools at any given time.

Example: Gnar, who has to manage his rage bar and can't transform at own will if this bar is empty. Kayn, who has to decide for one form and just has the tools of that one, meaning that you can counter him based on that.

How do you want to make a thematic fitting transformation for Kindred without the risk of them having too many tools? Genuinely asking, I would like to read a suggestion for a mechanic.
