"Little to no counterplay"
this is so wrong i can no longer take you seriously.
azir has plenty of counterplay. he is supceptive to strong trades, has no Tools to shred tanks, and his only defensive spell is his ultimate, which can be bypassed by a blink.
and champions that naturally have a blink? or have any other tool to directly bypass his R? Well...
W,
E attack,
E,
Melee disposition,
R,
E (Not a blink but ignores any and all terrain),
R is unstoppable,
R is unstoppable,
R is unstoppable (And animation can only be canceled with death),
R,
E,
R is unstoppable,
E,
R is unstoppable,
W lets him dive below terrain,
Q,
R AND W can cancel the knockback effect upon cast from azir,
Q,
R is unstoppable,
R,
R is unstoppable,
R during flight is unstoppable,
R cast,
W and R swaps
So you tell me azir has no counterplay when legit half the champs listed here are meta, and all of the tanks in it are viable and seen in pro Play.
Same with kalista. Her dashes limited her AAs, meaning they created an artificial DPS scale depending with how good you can maneuver her. Kalista when slowed loses dps since she is limited to 1 AA per passive dash, and dash animation and distance both scale with movement speed, meaning the harder shes slowed the slower she dashes, which means the slower she AAs, which means the less AA she gets off, meaning any slow above 30% forces her to stand absolutely still to AA, and with her small ranges that makes her easy kill. Kalista is countered by any, ANY slow so long as the enemy team has just one means of engage against her. Kalista creates a different term of balance because both her kit and her countermeasures are overloaded.
Kalista is only OP against the wrong teamcompositions. a proper team that has a jungler which knows how to blue smite her can shut her down almost too effectively.
