Champion: Morcom, The Rune Knight Role: Fighter/Tank Lane: Top/Jungle
Lore: Long ago, before even the rune wars that threatened the whole of Runeterra, there was a kingdom whose name is lost to the annals of time, known now only as the Shadow Isles. In this grand kingdom there was an order of noble rune-knights who guarded the royal family from the day of their birth until they die in service. These knights were charged with advising and guarding royalty, however this goal was shattered by a group of mages and an old king who feared the promise of death. Morcom, the leader of this order has awoken in the ruins of his failure. Shamed, this dishonored knight and his eternally loyal steed now serves Lord Mordekaiser in his endeavors as penance.
“I allowed ruin into my kingdom, now I serve to bring ruin to all kingdoms.”
Passive: Runic Curse - When Morcom spawns, he may choose 1 of 2 cursed runes.
Rune of Hunger: Morcom cannot benefit from lifesteal, instead all lifesteal is transformed into bonus damage per auto attack and ability. Bonus damage has a 1 to 1 ratio with the percentage of lifesteal [10% bonus lifesteal = 10 AD]. Morcoms Abilities gain bonus effects.
Rune of Plague: Morcoms blade plagues enemies he auto attacks dealing 5 + 10% of AD as magic damage per second for 5 seconds, stacking 3 times. Can be applied to multiple targets at the same time. Stacking does not increase damage, but the duration is extended by 3 seconds for each stack. Upon attacking a target with 3 stacks, the plague explodes dealing 30 extra magic damage + 5% of the target's missing health and spreading 1 stack of the plague to any nearby enemies.
_Q - Unholy Charge _
Morcom summons the spirit of a steed, charging an enemy dealing [70/80/90/100/110 + 60% of bonus AD]. Upon reaching the target, the spirit remains and attacks the target for 4 seconds. While the spirit is active, Morcom gains bonus 40 movespeed.
Hunger - When the Spirit dies, Morcom is healed for 20% of the damage dealt by the spirit while it was alive.
_W - Penance Stare _
Morcom peers into the soul of his target, stunning them for 1/1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8 seconds dealing [50/75/100/125/150 + 50% of AP].
Hunger - Morcom slows the target by 40% for the same duration instead of stunning , but is healed for 30% of the damage dealt to the target during the slow
_E - Pale Steed _
Morcom summons a Pale Steed for 10 seconds, gaining bonus 50% movespeed and a 25% reduction to incoming slows. The next attack against enemy champion deals bonus damage based on how long he was mounted [1-5 seconds = 10% bonus physical of target's current HP | 6-10 seconds = 10% bonus true damage of target's max health]
Hunger - Morcom summons a Crimson Steed, allowing his next basic attack 100% crit chance and healing for a flat amount [80/100/120/140/160 + 50% of AD]
_R - Duel of the Damned _
Passive: While Rune of Hunger is active, Morcom may cannibalize any ally or enemy champion corpses for a permanent bonus to his AD and Health. Plus 5 AD and plus 20 Health per corpse consumed.
Morcom challenges an enemy champion, locking them into honorable combat for 10 seconds. During this time, Morcom and his target can only damage each other. If Morcom kills the enemy during this time, he is healed for 15% / 25% / 35% of his missing health. However, if Morcom is killed during this time, the enemy is healed for 15% / 25% / 35% of their missing health.
