Let's Talk Lee Sin Visual Upgrade

When Garen received his VU, all of his abilities were tied together with a single thematic scheme: "righteous energy" as Grumpy Monkey put it. Garen's particles look super nice and fit him well, but what about Lee Sin? As of right now, his abilities are all over the place: a soundwave, a fiery blast, a flaming roundhouse, a paper-lantern-esque shield, etc. What could tie all of his abilities together? Swirly white energy; fire; "sound"; etc.

What else should be focused on for Lee? Really, this is an open conversation.

Considering Lee looks pretty good already, I don't think he would be a good candidate for a VU.

Plus the fact that he's one of the most popular champions, and a VU would probably cause one of the biggest uproars in LoL history since people can't handle change.

For the record though, I also think Garen's and any other VU have made vast improvements to the champions affected.

No. That's the Diablo 3 Monk. I only placed him here to throw around ideas for a new Lee Sin look.

Judging from the current pace of VU's, Riot won't even consider a VU for Lee Sin in at least 5 years or something. Lee Sin barely have any spell effects anyways. It's just Sonic wave and Tempest (who is not even close to being a fire effect).

I don't actually, because there are at least like 20+ champs that need a VU way more than Lee Sin.

Most of them need a full VU yes. Lee Sin on the other hand, doesn't really. He's model is fine and could need some small tweaks at most.
