Medeia, the Enchantress
Note: I understand I do not have the numbers for Medeia's kit yet. Unfortunately I am out of time at the moment, but I will work on finding and implementing suitable numbers as soon as possible.
Lore:
There was a time when Medeia was just like any young girl growing up in a small town on the border of Demacia. Her little sister, Lily, on the other hand was not so fortunate in that regard. Born with the innate ability to summon and command fire in a civilization that denied and scorned magic, Lily was doomed to a life of torment and solitude. But Medeia refused to give up on her. She was simply too stubborn and caring to give up on her little sister regardless of what anyone said. Nothing was off limits in her desire to help Lily. She would even go so far as to sneak out of Demacian territory in order to study and practice magic for herself in order to provide the best support that she could for her younger sister. And she did a good job at keeping it a secret from everyone else. Her greatest obstacle was Lily herself. The child greatly feared her own power and went to great lengths to keep it suppressed and hidden despite Medeia urging her to practice using it. As something of a forward thinker, Medeia recognized the dangers that might occur if her sister was ever forced to unleash her magic without knowing how to control it. It was a fear that one day turned into reality. No one knows how it happened exactly. They only know that something caused Lily to use her fire magic, and accidentally set the entire town ablaze. And without knowing how to use her gift, the child simply had no way to handle the fire she had started. Medeia was forced to use the knowledge and magic that she had amassed for herself to seize control of and snuff out the flames. But she could not do so in time. The damage had already been done. Her home and family were gone, and Medeia was cast out due to her use of magic.
Medeia eventually found herself in the streets of Noxus. There she quickly found that the empire's inclusive nature and emphasis on strength and power actually opened the doors for her to further her own studies on magic and how to effectively use and control it. It did not take her incredibly long to rise to prominence as Noxus's foremost scholar and practitioner of the mystic arts, even amassing her own library of magical information and spell books. Medeia also became known for making journeys to Ionia strictly for the sake of furthering her own research. A selfish habit which the Trifarix is willing to overlook due to the fact that she is willing to share her findings and has already personally trained a number of future mages that the empire could use in future conquest.
"I honestly don't really care what my students use their magic for. All I want is to make sure that if they end up burning down a village, it is strictly because they INTENDED to burn down that village. I won't have any more accidents like my little sister's."
Abilities: Names not permanent. Can be changed later on.
Passive - Part 1 - Arcane Library: Medeia brings five different spell books with her into the game. Each of these tomes can be linked to any one of her basic abilities. A single tome can be linked to multiple abilities, but single ability can NOT be linked to multiple tomes. This means that Medeia can have a maximum of three books WITH her at any given time. Spell books not in use are kept in the item shop. Medeia can choose which tome(s) she will have with her from the item shop at the start of the game. Once minions have spawned, her choice in number of spell books and what abilities they are linked to are locked in. Spell books: Pyromancy, Electromancy, Aeromancy, Necromancy, and Photomancy
Passive - Part 2 - Arcane Preparation: Every time Medeia uses one of her basic abilities, she gains a charge on the corresponding tome linked to that ability. At three charges, the next time she uses an ability linked to that spell book, the spell will be empowered and have a bonus effect. Example: Pyromancy linked to Q, W, and E; Medeia's fourth ability cast will empowered by Arcane Preparation Pyromancy linked only to Q; the fourth time that Medeia's Q is used will be empowered by Arcane Preparation
Q - Arcane Shot: Medeia launches mystic energy in a straight line, stopping on and dealing magic damage to the first enemy struck. Using Arcane shot with Arcane Preparation will deal increased damage and apply the following effects: --Pyromancy: Sends out a fireball that ignites the enemy struck, dealing additional damage over time. --Electromancy: Launches a bolt of lightning that will arc, jumping to and damaging up to three additional enemies. Prioritizes enemy champions and low-health minions. --Aeromancy: Unleashes a gust of wind that knocks back the enemy struck. --Necromancy: Sends forth two skeletons that will grab and root the enemy hit. --Photomancy: Calls down a soothing light in a line, healing all allies hit.
W - Arcane Shield: Medeia folds magic energy around a target allied champion or herself, granting the target a damage blocking shield. If the shield is BROKEN (absorbs enough damage) after being cast with Arcane Preparation, it will shatter and apply the following effects: --Pyromancy: A burst of fire ignites all enemies in range, dealing magic damage over time. --Electromancy: A surge of lightning damages enemies in range and will arc, jumping to and damaging up to three additional enemies per initial target hit. Prioritizes enemy champions and low-health minions. Cannot arc to enemies already hit by these effects. --Aeromancy: A sudden tornado knocks all nearby enemies away from the shielded target. --Necromancy: Several skeletal hands reach up and root all enemies near the shielded target. --Photomancy: Releases a soothing light that heals the shielded target and all nearby allies.
E - Arcane Surge: Medeia sends a surge of magic energy to a target area, dealing magic damage to all enemies struck. This magic surge will deal bonus damage and apply the following effects if cast with Arcane Preparation: --Pyromancy: Causes an explosion that ignites all enemies struck, dealing additional damage over time. --Electromancy: Calls down a bolt of lightning to the target area. The lightning will arc from all enemies struck, jumping to and damaging up to three additional enemies each. Prioritizes enemy champions and low-health minions. Cannot arc to enemies already hit by the initial cast or the resulting arcs. --Aeromancy: Creates a tornado that knocks all nearby enemies away from the center of the targeted area. --Necromancy: Raises a host of skeletons from the ground, grabbing and rooting all enemies struck. --Photomancy: Brings down a soothing light that heals all allies in the targeted area.
R - Arcane Knowledge: Passive: Whenever Medeia levels up this ability, she is allowed one opportunity to open the item shop in base and completely change her spell books. This includes taking more (still capped at 3), re-arranging what abilities they are linked to, or un-equipping any. This opportunity is spent if any changes are made to the spell book load out before the item shop is closed, and said changes will be locked in until the next time Arcane Knowledge is leveled up. These opportunities do NOT stack. The previous one will be lost if it is not used before Arcane Knowledge is leveled up again. Active: Medeia opens up the spell book(s) that she has on her for the next few seconds. During this time, she will cast her spells directly from the the tome(s), causing them to automatically be the Arcane Preparation versions of the abilities.
