Champion concept - Celaena: the "Evolved"

Role: Support

Lore: Celaena was once just an average girl living in Valoran. But her normal life came to an end when she was abducted by Victor, the Machine Herald. He captured her and many others, dragging them all deep into his laboratory to modify them and bring about his vision of the glorious evolution. Before Victor could finish modifying her, Celaena regained consciousness and quickly used the changes that HAD been made to her body to escape. But much of her humanity had already been lost. She counted herself lucky that her human mind was still in tact. As quickly as possible, Celaena made her way to Piltover, the one place that could likely make the needed adjustments in order for her to survive without becoming an entire machine. Though she struggles to maintain her now limited humanity, Celaena knows that it was only a matter of time before her so-called "creator" discovers her and comes to finish what he'd started. But the next time they meet, she will be ready, and he will be faced with the full wrath of his own devices. One that has nothing left to lose. "Victor must... no, WILL be stopped before more innocent people share my fate."

(I imagine Celaena like Lambda 11 from the Blazbue fighting game series, as the "Murakumo Unit" design from that game is the inspiration for this champ. See the reference image below.) **__

Abilities:

R - Cycle Systems: Celaena has three different "Battle Systems" that she can cycle through. These systems are "Lancet", "Support", and "Vector".

Passive - System Loaded: Celaena gains a small boost based on which System that she's using. --Lancet - Bonus AP --Support - Bonus health regen --Vector - Bonus movement speed

Q - System Set: Celaena sets up a "station" at target location based on which system she is using. --Lancet - Sets up a "Lancet Gun". The gun itself does not attack. If it is struck by an allied skill-shot, the Lancet Gun will re-cast that ability in the direction that it is facing. The re-cast ability will inflict bonus damage based on Celaena's AP. This effect will destroy the Lancet Gun. Celaena can only have one Lancet Gun out at a time. Lancet Guns cannot be attacked by the enemy. --Support - Sets up a Healing Station. Healing stations provide healing over time to allies within the Area of Effect. The Healing Station can be attacked and destroyed by enemy champions. Destroying a Healing Station will cause it to drop a Medical Cell that any champion can pick up by walking over it. Picking up a Medical Cell will heal the champion that picked it up. Celaena can have up to 2 Healing Stations out at a time, but the heal does not stack. --Vector - Sets up a "Vector Panel". After taking a second to charge, the Vector Panel will then launch the first champion that steps on it in the direction that it is facing. It will then need another second to re-charge. Celaena can have up to 2 Vector Panels out at a time, but enemy champions can attack and destroy them. When Celaena casts "Cycle Systems", all stations that she has out at the time will be destroyed, dealing magic damage to enemies caught in the blast.

W - System shot: Celaena fires a skill-shot that damages the first enemy struck. System shot gains various effects based on which system she is using. --Lancet - System shot will have bonus range and will deal damage to all enemies in a line. --Support - System shot will also stop if it hits an allied champion. However, that champion will be healed instead. --Vector - System shot will also slow the enemy that it hits.

E - Nanite System: Celaena launches a capsule to target location, releasing a cloud of Nanites (A.K.A. nano-bots) when it lands. These Nanites will apply various effects to enemy champions within the cloud based on what system Celaena is using. --Lancet - Enemies within the cloud of Nanites will take bonus damage from out-side sources. --Support - Healing abilities will be less effective on enemies within the cloud of Nanites. --Vector - Enemies within the cloud of Nanites will also be slowed. **__

Quotes (Work in progress):

Selection: "All systems functional. I'm ready when you are, summoner."

Movement: "Understood." "Moving." "I will be there shortly." "I'll go there." "Planning fastest route."

Attacking: "Engaging target." "Please stop screaming." "Target acquired." "Just give up."

Taunt: "Failure is always an option. For you, it is the ONLY option." (First part is a Mythbusters quote) "Calculating enemy chances of success... Error... Cannot divide by zero." (After Pulsefire Ezreal taunt) "Power-levels over 9000 ARE impossible.

Casting "Cycle Systems": --Switching to Lancet - "Loading Lancet system." "Lancet system, loaded." --Switching to Support - "Loading Support system." "Support system, loaded." --Switching to Vector - "Loading Vector system." "Vector system, loaded."

(I'll be sure to post character interactions, and other quotes in general when I think of them)

Thought I could help with the interactions:

Selection "All systems prepped and online. Launch sequence initiated."

Movement "Destination acquired." "Planning fastest route." "Re-routing." "Eta, seconds."

Attack "Combat sequence activated." "Target locked. Signaling teammates." "Attack database loaded. "

Death "Error, zzt! Crash report sent. Rebooting."

Taunt "No one is more accurate than I." "I'd calculate your chances of success, but you can't divide zero by zero." "Mistakes are a part of tests. The fewer, the better."

Joke "Beep beep beep boop boop....that wasn't me." "I have to manage my storage before I can upgrade? Ugh!"

Recall "Coordinates locked. I will return harder, better, faster, and stronger."

Still working with more. :)

I'm noticing that Celaena is getting down-votes, but no feedback about why. If I made mistakes with her low or kit, I cannot fix them if you don't provide feedback and bring those mistakes to my attention.

Update: I added some more quotes for Celaena. Also, after thinking about it and the fact that most supports don't have a lot of damage for themselves, I decided to remove the continuous magic damage from her Nanite System.

I still haven't received any feed-back for Celaena. If I did make any mistakes with her kit, I NEED people to point them out to me so I can see what I can do to fix them. Thank you in advance to anyone who provides valid feedback, be it positive or negative.

I noticed that Celeana got another down vote. People, please, I need feedback as to WHY you are down voting her so that I can fix any mistakes that I had made.

More down votes, but no feedback. People, if I don't get feedback, I am unable to make any necessary corrections to the concept. So please, WHAT is it about Celeana that you just don't like? Is it a part of her kit? Is it her lore? Is it because I don't have her numbers (in which case, I admit, I'm going to need some help since I am not very good with numbers)? Where am I going wrong?

I notice I'm still not getting any feedback. I don't WANT to sound like a broken record, but if there is anything that people thinks to be a mistake, I NEED them to point it out to me so that I can make any necessary corrections.

If the issue is the numbers (or lack thereof), then I'm afraid there isn't much I can do about that on my own. I'm just not good with numbers.

I like the concept and how you tied in some damage to an otherwise inert ultimate. I think that the way you have three different "systems" to choose from, each representing a different playstyle and role. I think that if the abilites were balanced out and given some damage values and such it would be a bit more prominent of a thread since, from personal experience, people get kinda edgy about that stuff. Overall though, I feel like this is a solid concept with some minor tweakage needed. Upvote for you :)

Try looking at the lol wiki and find 3-4 champions that have similar play styles to how you think Celaena should play then give her a well rounded mix of stats based off the champions you chose. make sure to give her obvious weaknesses though like if you want her spells to be devastating make them expensive with long cool downs. Also pay attention to scaling if you give her high base values compensate by lowering the growth or % damage ratios. Oh and you might want to change her lancet ability for a couple reasons. The first being not every champion has skill shots and the second being its to awkward to line up. For instance if a champion has a lancet behind it then said champion has to retreat line up the skill shot to hit both the lancet and the enemy champion which would be very telegraphed and way to simple to dodge. What you might try is making the lancet fire at the impact location of nearby champions abilities dealing damage in a small aoe or something. Hope this helps

I like this and it would work with LeeSin . That lancet turret could make his Q go really far!
