can we have more masteries like stormraider's surge?
so I've been toying around with the mastery system and out of all the masteries I'm seeing the 3 that I love the most are , stormraider's surge, and windspeaker's blessing, with bond of stone and warlord's bloodlust coming in down a bit lower. the thing I love about them is they're a more of a situational power that multiplies off of a champion's existing strengths. the supports' sustain is a bit more powerful and creates a dynamic of "do I shield the tank to make them that much tankier, or save it to peel that yi I just heard ult from across the map so he'll be here in a few seconds" and assassins can do their damage and get a bit of a boost to escape if they're sucessful.
I think the reason thunderlord's and the like of tacking on damage is rather clunky and hard to balance for champions entirely. changes like furor now adds a % of as/ms per auto on champions or even steals ms and resistances could turn it into a more of the on hit/duelist mastery it was designed as, stealing more from tanks to make them tankier but not as much from squishies so it's not their worst nightmare when a jax jumps out and pummels them to death with it. deathfire touch could amplify damage on the target with each spell hit on them up to a point, making sustained ap trades more deadly as they go on, thunderlord's be a small slow that charges up and procs on a champion when hit by an auto/spell, good for those having troubles keeping their prey in their damage zone a la illaoi (which is hilariously fun to say now I think about it), and strength of the ages? I'm not quite sure about that one. but the general design direction would be a big positive for me.
