and the death screen just can't explain it. like one game it said jhin's 4th bullet + q killed me and then when I closed and reopened it it was a cho'gath rupture EFFECT but the damage portion didn't show up. oh and jhin who was the killer was shunted to assist zone.

I get the screen is whack and sometimes tells me I got killed by a tower's zac ult for 1200 true damage but still. there's like no way to tell what killed me sometimes when damage goes against my expectations.

The death recap should never be assumed to be correct. It's honestly really bad and in need of a rehaul. That being said, I use the death recap to try to know what kind of damage is being dealt to me and which which is doing relatively the most (ie. Magic/Physical damage).

I just use death recap primarily to see who used ignite, or if the enemy jungler smited me. and a gentle reminder of, this skill does magic damage and this skill does physical damage.

"We want to increase clarity in the game!" death recap ignored for 3-4 seasons

My favorite part is being a tank, losing 4k health in 3 seconds in a teamfight and only being shown 300 damage total, 43 of which is from a caster minnion.

Death recap just feels so useless. I try using it to figure out what I should build as a tank/who to focus, but most of the time it's giving me crap I know isn't right, like Flash dealing 500 true damage.

If you ask me, this should be up there on their list of things to fix-knowing what's actually killing me and how much damage it deals is pretty vital to knowing how to counter build.

To be fair, if you look at the builds of the enemy team you should know about how much damage each champion is doing and what you should be itemizing.

you cant tell if you were being cleansed from existing or the world just said, "hush now. it'll be aright. it wont hurt anymore." or atleast that's how i see it.

its been on the mythical "Things league said they would get too eventually" list but i guess knowing exactly what caused my death so i could try and figure out a more solid strategy than "dont be anywhere near them" isnt high priority XD
