Kul'Ios is a champion that saps the power from nearby enemy champions in order to power his Void Construct, a powerful relic of the void that holds a void portal to fuel the invasion of the Void. Using his army of minions and mana sapping qualities, he pushes lanes at a speed comparable by no other. Although he has an obvious counter by simply picking resourceless champions, he can counter this by directly sapping mana from the monsters and towers from around the rift, making them less powerful. Combining all this, Kul'Ios becomes a global threat that must be stopped by his enemies if they hope to take lane objectives.

LORE Kul'Ios is a being of the Void that absorbs the energy and matter from worlds to convert it into power to fuel the beings of the Void. In a way, he is what gives the Void life. All Void beings rely on Void energy to survive and, therefore, rely on Kul'Ios to steal matter and energy from other dimensions to fuel the Void. It is a ruthless process that has made the Void what it is. Some Voidlings have adapted to fuel their own life in different ways, but majority rely on the aid of Kul'Ios. In exchange, they must serve him in his pursuit of energy and matter. However, why does Kul'Ios himself do what he does? He does not rely on such energy or matter, so what does he get from it? The more important question here is, what is making him do it? Kul'Ios is shrouded in mystery, but this does not change the fact that he has come to consume and convert all of Runeterra. The invasion of the Void is near, and Kul'Ios is it's engine.

KIT Kul'Ios, the World Sapper Mage Secondary: Support Health- 400 (+60 per level) Health Regen.- 2 (+0.2 per level) Mana- 400 (+60 per level) Mana Regen.- 0 (+0 per level) Armor- 20 (+2.75 per level) Magic Resist- 30 (+0 per level) Movement Speed- 325 Attack Damage- 50 (+3 per level) Attack Speed- 0.000 (+0% per level) Attack Range- 575 (Ranged)

Passive- Void Construct Innate: Kul'Ios carries the Void Construct on his back and it draws off of nearby magical energy. Kul'Ios steals 20% (+0.5% per level) of nearby visible enemy champions' mana regeneration, gaining it for himself. Whenever he targets a unit to attack, the Void Construct will tether to the unit instead of Kul'Ios attacking the unit, causing them to take 100/110/120% of his attack damage every 1.75/1.5/1.25 seconds. Attack speed can increase the speed of this process, reducing it down to every 1/0.75/0.5 seconds once Kul'Ios has 250% extra attack speed. If the unit is a structure, large monster, or enemy champion, Kul'Ios will also regain 2.5/3/3.5% of his max mana whenever he attacks the unit. On-hit effects are applied every time this damages a unit. His attacks cannot critically strike. The fountain will not refill Kul'Ios' health or mana reserve and he has no base mana regeneration due to him relying on converting energy and matter into Void energy. He will gain no mana regeneration from any item. Passive effects that grant mana will still grant Kul'Ios mana unless they increase his mana regeneration, such as Athene's Unholy Grail and Mikael's Crucible. Levels: 1/8/15 Mana Sap Range: 1000/1250/1500 Tether Range: 625

Ability 1- Release Voidling Active: Kul'Ios releases a minion from the Void Construct at it's current location, causing it to march down the nearest lane and attack minions and structures as an allied minion would. The unit gains bonuses when it is first created that fade away the longer it is alive. Kul'Ios can hold up to three voidlings to release from the Void. VOIDLING Health- 300/375/450/525/600 (+20% AP) Armor- 10/15/20/25/30 Magic Resist- 20/30/40/50/60 Movement Speed- 325 Attack Damage- 15/21/27/33/39 (+10% AP) Attack Speed- 1.1/1.15/1.2/1.25/1.3 Attack Range- 100 (Melee) When born, the Voidling will take 30/35/40/45/50% reduced magic damage, 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% reduced physical damage, and 2/4/6/8/10% reduced true damage. Each of these fade away by 4/3.75/3.5/3.25/3% for each second they are alive. After all of these bonuses have faded away, 10 seconds later, the Voidlings will slowly begin to bleed to death, taking 75/70/65/60/55 (+1% AP) true damage per second. While bleeding, the armor and magic resist of the Voidling is halved. Voidlings will not attack champions unless the champion attacks them, upon which they will gain 50% increased movement speed (unless bleeding) and begin to attack the champion. Voidlings deal 25% reduced damage to champions. Voidlings grant 4 gold and no experience on death to their killer. Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 mana Charge Time: 23/20/17/14/11 sec. Cool Down: 1 sec.

Ability 2- Void Teleportation Active: After channeling for 2.5 seconds, all Voidlings inside the target area will be transported off the map for up to 5 seconds. Kul'Ios will have all debuffs removed from himself as well as being transported off the map if he is also inside the area. Within that time, Kul'Ios can choose another visible area on the map and all units transported off the map will reappear at that location after a 2.5 second delay. Upon arriving, all Voidlings gain a 50/125/200/275/350 (+25% AP) health shield for up to 6 seconds. Damage will interrupt Void Transport's channel. Cost: 100/120/140/160/180 mana Cool Down: 90/85/80/75/70 sec. Teleport Entrance Range: 1500/2000/2500/3000/3500 Teleport Entrance AoE Radius: 550 Teleport Exit Range: Global

Ability 3- Null Explosion Active: After 5 seconds, the Void Construct releases wave of Void energy that travels outwards from it, dealing 15/30/45/60/75 (+8% AP) magic damage to every enemy champion hit and silencing enemy champions for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 second(s). Enemy minions and monsters are dealt 100/150/200/250/300 (+50% AP) true damage and stunned for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds. Enemy structures hit take 20/40/60/80/100 (+20% AP) magic damage and have their attack speed slowed by 15/20/25/30/35% for 2.5 seconds. After 2 seconds of this ability being casted, Kul'Ios' Void Construct is revealed to all enemy units on the map and is automatically pinged. Every enemy unit or neutral monster killed by this ability will have their matter transferred back to the Void Construct, causing Kul'Ios to regain 20/25/30/35/40 mana and 10/15/20/25/30 (+2% AP) health per unit. Voidlings hit by the wave gain 30/45/60/75/90% attack speed for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds. Cost: 125/150/175/200/225 mana Cool Down: 20/19/18/17/16 sec. Range: 1000/1250/1500/1750/2000 Wave Projectile Speed: 200

Ultimate- Void Construct Transportation Passive: Voidlings made by the Void Construct gain 200/325/450 increased basic attack range and become ranged, shooting instant beams of laser at their targets. Their attacks will transfer 5/6/7% (+1% per 100 AP) of the damage dealt as bonus armor and magic resist to Kul'Ios that lasts for 5 seconds, decaying over the duration. Active: The Void Construct teleports to the target location on the map, revealing the area within 800 units of it and applying the Void Construct mana regeneration steal to nearby visible enemy champions. From there, Release Voidling and Null Explosion will be cast. The Void Construct has a 600/800/1000 (+30% AP) health shield that, upon being broken, will cause the Void Construct to be forced to go back to Kul'Ios and deal equivalent damage to Kul'Ios and apply Grievous Wounds to him for 15 seconds. This ability can be reactivated to cause the Void Construct to teleport back to Kul'Ios after a 9 second delay and cause the ability to go on cool down. Cost: 100/125/150 mana Cool Down: 180/165/150 sec. Range: Global

  • "The only joke here is my enemies!"
  • "The Void does not know jokes, only death."

TIPS When Playing as Kul'Ios

  • Using your ultimate to move the Void Construct near an enemy tower will allow you to deploy Voidlings and Null Explosions without having to endanger yourself as well as being able to bypass the time and difficulties of going near the tower. However, be sure to know when an enemy champion may be about to destroy it, as you will take damage if the Void Construct's shield is destroyed.
  • Building items that grant you mana outside of increasing your mana regeneration can boost nearly everything Kul'Ios does, namely increase his pushing rate. Cool Down Reduction and Attack Speed also allow Kul'Ios to regain mana and use it much more quickly.
  • You can attack and push a lane from the Void Construct by teleporting it to a different lane than you are in and, due to Kul'Ios basic attacking from the Void Construct, this can allow you to, by yourself, push two lanes at once. However, be cautious while the Void Construct is somewhere else since you will not be able to defend yourself while it is away.
  • Voidlings are a powerful pushing tool, but be sure you deploy them as close to the enemy structures as possible so you can make use of their defensive boost as much as possible.

When Playing Against Kul'Ios

  • As a Jungler, it may be smart to actively hunt down and kill Kul'Ios if possible to stop him from pushing lanes.
  • AoE abilities are very powerful against Kul'Ios since they can destroy his army of Voidlings quickly, especially once their defensive boosts are gone.
  • It may be smart to attack Kul'Ios' voidlings so they will attack you instead of your minions and structures to stop them from pushing.
  • Be eyeful for when Kul'Ios will release a Null Explosion since it will greatly weaken your own minions, structures, and even your own allied champions. Champions can outrun the wave it releases normally, but it may be smarter to walk through so you won't have to retreat for so long.
  • If Kul'Ios moves his Void Construct, kill it as quickly as possible so that he will take damage, and to force it back to Kul'Ios.

When Playing Alongside Kul'Ios

  • Picking champions that complement Kul'Ios' high pushing potential can make your team push into the enemy Nexus at incredible speeds.
  • Protecting Kul'Ios' Voidlings will allow the lane to be pushed. They are not worth dying for, however.
  • Making a distraction at the opposite side of the map that Kul'Ios is at will force the enemy team to split up to deal with both threats.
  • Kul'Ios is not the most powerful team fighting champion. Expect him to be elsewhere, taking objectives and causing havoc.

TRIVIA

  • Kul'Ios is a concept that I have made several kits over time on the forums for.
  • Kul'Ios has the longest basic ability cool down in the game, being on Void Teleportation.
  • Kul'Ios has the lowest base health regeneration in the game.
  • Kul'Ios has the lowest base health in the game.
  • Kul'Ios is the only champion to have their basic attack able to attack an untargetable unit as long as Kul'Ios began attacking them before becoming untargetable. This is due to his basic attack being a tether.

If you read that wall of text, thank you! Even if you just read the kit, thank you! Be sure to leave your opinions on Kul'Ios below, and, once again, thank you for reading.
