Veigar is the Final Boss of the League of Legends

I like the idea that there are some champions in League that you have to nurture from the start to fully see the rewards of their kits. I feel like this feeds into the 'power attainment' fantasy. So 100-0 champions and instant stuns are being weeded out. I won't argue about that here. Instead I'd like to share a dumb little fantasy I've had for playing Veigar.

Firstly, I won't go into numbers or specifics. I'm just focused on theme and overall gameplay.

Passive: harvesting xxx amount of dark magic will permanently transform Veigar into his final form.

In his final form, Veigar grows into an evil monstrosity, gaining new abilities/visuals and voice. Veigar quotes will remain the same, but with the added 'dark god' esque voicing. Personally, this would be really funny to hear. From an adorable midgety voice to a deep, archon like bellow "You deny the darkness in your soul you deny your power". From "Is that a short joke?!" to "NOW who wants to say a short joke?".

The rest of his kit should center around farming dark energy for the purpose of attaining his final form. Pre form he should be very weak and easily bullied. Veigar is tormented and bullied as a weakling. He is the underdog and his early to mid game should be about reaching that goal where he can turn the tables on his opponents. Denying him farm and objectives should be the strategic goal of the other team.

The risks for playing this kind of champion are obviously high. You don't start out as a badass and you have to work extra hard to fulfill your champion fantasy. Some games you won't even achieve final boss status. But when you, oh boy should it be rewarding and of course, permanent. This won't even be a retcon to his lore. Veigar really should be dreaming about being the Final Boss of League.
