(Champion Concept) Gorgleth, the Primordial Being of Rot
LORE http://orig04.deviantart.net/86a6/f/2016/263/1/2/nurgle_by_baklaher-dai9ufu.jpg With existence comes the eternal cycle of life and death. All things that live must, eventually, die. All who defy this suffer the wrath of beings far beyond what any could possibly defeat. While death itself hunts and claims all it can, there are some other beings that wish to help in the pursuit of those who avoid death. Gorgleth, a being spawned when the first disease came into existence, is the lord of all possible infections and illnesses that could possibly come to torment mankind. A demon of profound power, he has become the target of many hunters of the night who wish to seek out and purge all demonic beings in existence. However, Gorgleth is always beyond what any night hunter would believe. All who hunt the disease are destined to fall to it. Existing in a realm parallel to the physical world, Gorgleth himself can be found in villages and nations that are ravaged by disease. His size immeasurable, most who are strong enough to enter this realm and make their way to the demon's location often give upon seeing what they face. For every living being that a disease claims, Gorgleth grows and becomes more powerful and a disease does not have a mind for who it claims. All but the spawn of Gorgleth themselves can be claimed by his creations. http://www.bogleech.com/nurgle/nurgle-horde.jpg The spawns of Gorgleth are beings that have mutated and spawned from the rotting bodies of his victims. These horrific abominations have often been found to be assaulting other demons who exist, causing Gorgleth to even devour the strength of his brothers due to the diseases his spawn inflict the other demons with. This has lead Gorgleth to become not only an enemy of any night hunters, but also of the Eye of Twilight himself since Gorgleth seeks to destroy the balance of natural life. While, in the beginning, Gorgleth was a true neutral force, his greed and gluttony has caused him to spread his diseases among species and individuals never destined to die of disease by the natural orders of the universe. While other celestial beings have attempted to kill or stop Gorgleth, to do so would mean destroying every disease that exists and upsetting the balance of the universe even more. Due to this, Gorgleth cannot be stopped and will continue to consume the rotted bodies of all who fall to his plagues until life ceases to exist and, therefore, Gorgleth kills himself off due to a lack of life to inflict with his diseases. In the end, the last living creature will fall to disease and rot away into the emptiness of space. In the end, Gorgleth will be the last of them all and then die off himself. Then, there will be nothing and, eventually, the cycle of life and death will begin again by chance. Until the end, Gorgleth continues to infect all who he finds interesting and then devours their essence when they finally succumb to the plague. While Kindred may take all who die, Gorgleth is the hand that delivers them. There is but one way to stop Gorgleth, and that is to banish him but not his plagues from this version of reality. However, who could possibly be powerful enough to do that?
KIT Gorgleth, the Primordial Being of Rot Main Role: Juggernaut Secondary Role: Disruptor Health- 450 (+75 per level) Health Regen.- 8 (+0.8 per level) Mana- 400 (+40 per level) Mana Regen.- 7 (+0.7 per level) Armor- 32 (+3.75 per level) Magic Resist- 32.1 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed- 325 Attack Damage- 60 (+5 per level) Attack Speed- 0.6 (+1.1% per level) Attack Range- 175 (Melee)
Passive- The Growing Being of Rot Innate: Gorgleth grows from the bits and pieces he rots away from those he plagues, causing Gorgleth to permanently gain 0.4/0.6/0.8/1% of the damage he and his spawn deal as bonus health, halved against enemy minions, monsters, and pets. Enemy structures do not provide Gorgleth with any bonus health. Whenever an enemy champion is killed within 3 seconds of being damaged by Gorgleth, Gorgleth gains 1/2/3/4% of their maximum health as bonus health. Gorgleth also grows in size whenever he gains health through this effect, increasing in size until he reaches the limit. Levels: 1/6/11/16
Ability 1- Disease of Rot Active: Gorgleth infects the target enemy minion or non-epic monster with a fatal disease, causing them to take 3/4/5/6/7% (+1% per 100 AP) of their maximum health as magic damage each second until they die. Every 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 seconds, units infected with this disease will pulse, causing nearby enemies to also become infected with this disease. Enemy champions and epic monsters will only be infected with this disease for 3 seconds if it spreads to them (maximum of 150/175/200/225/250 damage per second vs. epic monsters). The area around the unit where the pulse will affect is visible to enemies and allies. Enemies infected by this disease become immune to further infection for 4.5 seconds after the disease wears off. Enemy minions that are immune to magic damage are cured of the disease the next time they pulse. Enemy monsters are instantly cured of the disease when they 'reset' and begin recovering health. Cost: 100 mana Cool Down: 35/32.5/30/27.5/25 seconds Range: 450 Pulse Range: 100/125/150/175/200
Ability 2- Spawn of Gorgleth Passive: Gorgleth will passively spawn a Rotling at his current location once every 18/16/14/12/10 seconds. Rotlings will follow Gorgleth and defend him, acting as meat shields. Rotlings are permanently affected by Disease of Rot, but do not take damage from the effect. Rotlings do not basic attack enemies, instead simply charging at them and standing near them so as to infect them. Rotling Stats Health- 200 (+15 per level) (+2% bonus health) Armor- 0/10/20/30/40 Magic Resist- 15/30/45/60/75 Movement Speed- 335/340/345/350/355 Rotlings ignore unit collision and reward 6 gold on death. A maximum of 3/5/7/9/11 Rotlings can be alive at one time. Toggle On: Gorgleth's basic attacks will deal an additional 20/40/60/80/100 (+45% AP) magic damage to enemies afflicted with Disease of Rot, doubled against enemy minions and monsters. Enemies killed by Gorgleth's basic attacks while this effect is active will spawn a Rotling at their location of death. Rotlings will not leave Gorgleth's leash range unless it is impossible for them to remain inside. If they leave his leash range, they will move back into leash range at twice their normal movement speed as soon as it becomes possible to return to the leash range. Cost: 5/8/11/14/17 mana per second Cool Down: 2 seconds Rotling Leash Range: 550
Ability 3- Origin of Filth Passive: Gorgleth emits an aura of rot and decay, causing enemies near him to lose 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 Magic Resist per second for 10 seconds, refreshing every second they are near Gorgleth and stacking up to 10 times. Upon reaching maximum stacks of this effect, the unit affected will begin to become nauseous, applying Grievous Wounds to them and causing them to deal 5/7.5/10/12.5/15% (+1% per 100 AP) reduced damage until the effect wears off of them. Active: Enemies affected by Disease of Rot are slowed by 30/35/40/45/50% (+3% per 100 AP) and Grounded for 3 seconds. If they are an enemy champion, they also have a stack of Origin of Filth added to them. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Cool Down: 22/21.5/21/20.5/20 seconds Passive Range: 300 Range: 1500
Ultimate- Pillar of Plague Active: After a 3.5/3.25/3 second delay, all enemies inside the target area on the map are infected by the Disease of Rot and cannot recover health through any means for 3 seconds. Cost: 100/125/150 mana Cool Down: 185/165/145 seconds Range: Global AoE Radius: 550

I wanted to try out a champion that was more focused around anti-healing and long duration plague mechanics, so I came up with this monstrosity. A Juggernaut/Disruptor hybrid that waits out his opponent's eventual death with an absurd health pool and a barrage of meat shields. Gorgleth relies heavily on his Rotlings when against enemy champions for combat, however, so he is more effective in the early game to be clearing the jungle to get easy, usually uncontested health from his passive. Thanks for reading and feedback is appreciated!
