Small Reward For Honoring?

Honoring allies and opponents alike seems to have been lost over the course of the years. I receive the occasional one and I try to honor people (whenever I remember to) but that doesn't seem to be too frequent.

Would it perhaps become a bit more commonplace to offer a small reward of say, 5 IP for the first teammate / opponent you honor in the post game screen? It wouldn't be anything gamebreaking, but it would have an impact in the long run and encourage more pats on the back after games instead of just leaving the postgame screen immediately.

Thoughts?

How about just +5 IP to every champion honored. Even if people simply spam honors to every other player, I could see that still positively contributing to the community. Plus, as small as it may seem, an extra 45 IP per game can actually start to pile up.

Well, ideally you will only get honored if you deserve it so I don't see any harm in rewarding everyone. If someone was being toxic, unhelpful to their team, a bad sport, or is simply not skilled, they probably wouldn't get honored, thus no free IP.

Honoring allies or opponents isnt lost...I receive honors frequently and I own all 4 honor badges :) Anyway, your idea is good, maybe the one who gets honored could receive 5 IP too. And this should happen only for the people you dont have in friend list, so the premades wont get the free ip in this way :)
