why captain mf is 975 rp if she dont have any new particles?

one more time riot not following what she said on skins price rework when they said clearly that 975 skins have new animations and particles.

Hiya!

Since the Miss Fortune update was minor (minor visual updates and gameplay tweaks), she wasn't receiving a new recall animation. We felt that giving Captain Fortune a recall animation was a good opportunity here because, as it currently stood, only her Arcade Skin had one. In addition, this recall fell in nicely with the lore/Burning Tides event. (She shoots an orange... Gangplank is dead, you know the story).

As for her particles, we felt that her updated particles worked well with the thematic of the Captain Fortune skin.

Per the skin tier list, a 975 RP skin -

Features: new model, new texture, new splash image. Sometimes includes: new animations, visual effects, and sounds where appropriate for the skin's theme.

As a Twisted Fate main I feel dissapointed then that this opportunity was given to MF and not him as he literally has no new animations on any of his skins ever. With this new skin there was opportunity, but it was cast aside.

He does, but this time round he had an opportunity to have something better than what he has, but due to the sheer number of skins he has it looks like he will not have that opportunity for a very, very, very long time.

Hey, Underworld has new animations on all his abilities. (Unless you mean that the models move differently, rather than looks different.)

Animations, like Recall or unique ability animations like Lee sin and his recent skin. With a hatless skin I figured maybe they were gonna create new animations, however they did not.

Would it be possible to find a link to the champion skin guidelines? Though not in this particular case I am sometimes confused about why some skins are priced the way they are and a link to the price standards would be really helpful.

IMO Captain Fortune should've been her new base skin as per VU, updated lore and login screen and her current base skin should've been a Traditional skin.

They said something about it taking time and resources out of updating other champions (Poppy, Taric) so they' didn't give her basic model a backing animation.

I personally don't think that it would take that much time, but I don't know how this stuff works.

That being said, Meddler said that once they got done with the bigger reworks, like Poppy, Taric, and maybe Yorick (This one is very, very, far off) that they might start looking at older champions and giving them backing animations.

I don't believe those will be as drastic as Poppy, Urgot, Taric etc. So they probably won't be putting much effort in those as well.

Hell, they might even pull a Heimerdinger and upgrade their kits first then a month or so later Visually update them.

That being said I gave my opinion, I don't think it would be much work to add in small animations like that.

I'm still regretting my decision of buying Mistletoe Leblanc. Every Christmas skin released at the same time as hers had new animations. I remember Heimer was one, don't remember the other one. So, I naturally thought she would have new animations. Sike. It would have been so simple too :( Change Q to a snowball/snowflake and change E to a mistletoe vine. Maybe have her W release a small cloud of snow when she landed.

The skin itself is rather gorgeous though.
