I don't think a VU is the problem, I think she looks quite nice in game.

What I truly think she needs are ability icon updates. Those look ugly as hell, especially her E. It shoots a spike, yet the icon is Anivia with her wings spread out.

I think she doesn't look that bad because of the texture update they did a while back. my opinions is that its not that bad since they updated her textures, but the new splash art shows her sharper than her current model and I believe would look better in the long run.

Also, if they were to give her a VU, it would be more challenging than Twitch 's or Karthus ' VUs, as she has a Legendary skin (Blackfrost Anivia), and it would be harder simply because she would need to look great in game, but make that skin relevant enough to be worth the purchase. Same thing would go with Udyr .

What? Anivia isn't "Lane cancer" at all.

She has obvious weaknesses that can be exploited, such as being extremely immobile and mana hungry, as well as relying on her Q to set up her combo nicely.

While they are at it, remove the mana cost on her ult, make it teleport her and have a starting aoe burst damage of 500 true damage. Then make her W have 3 sides and slow everyone around it in a 5000 radius, increase the missile speed on Q by 500% while allowing the player to curve the skillshot mid air and have E throw out 10 ice shards in a front facing direction that does more damage to champions if it hits minions along the way. Next champion release complete.

You forgot to put passives on everything man.

Q passive: Damaging enemies under 25% health stuns them for 0.75 seconds, marking enemies for 5 seconds. Marked enemies are immune to this effect.

W passive: Increases her Q and R slows by 10/15/20/25/30 %.

E passive: If this ability kills an unit, it's cooldown is refreshed and the mana is refunded.

R passive: Increases AoE damage radius by 100/150/200, depending on the spell's level.

There you go.

I am nervous of them touching her.. They completely destroyed my scion skin. I could see them turning my "bird of prey" skin into some Disney looking abomination.

Everybody thinks you have to have the same opinion on everything. I didn't say the Nami skin was bad. It's really well done, I just don't think it fits the league plash art - art style at all. Too cartoon-like in my opinion In all honesty I think it could have passed as a cover for one of those Barbie movies.

LoL, I kind of do. I have very well established opinions based on facts and were it is subjective I know myself and preferences well enough that I'm am consistent instead of "wishy-washy" or "flaky"

Anivia doesn't look too bad because you don't exactly have another champ similar to her race to compare her to.

Meanwhile, take Teemo's classic skin and weigh it against the Tristana update and you really start to notice age because the two Yordles move and feel significantly different.

Of course, Riot's probably going to use that as an excuse not to update the old, clunky movement on the classic model. Although it would be pretty rough trying to update all of his skins when a couple of them use unique movement patterns, like bunny and astronaut.

The only thing she really needs in my opinion is a change in eye color either in game or for the splash art. Purple eyes in game and red eyes in the splash art really bothers me for some reason.

VU may not the problem but I think when compare Anivia's movement with Valor's movement.
Valor looks like the bird more than Anivia, more naturally, more continuous motion. So please update anything for Anivia.

I would like that too. Mainly because Anivia looks like a flappy bird. I'd be using my blackfrost anivia MUCH less if our awesome bird got a VU and skill update

That would involve them actually realizing Anivia exists, then realizing her E damage is higher than a college student in colorado. So I'm all for it. I've gotten one shot by too many anivias at level 2...
