How About A Champ That Uses A Whip?
What are your guys thoughts on a champion concept of a champion using a whip as a weapon?
It could be a ADC champion that hits from range with his whip "wha wham!" dat crit sound tho.

Thresh uses, basically a whip. It is a chain, but he whips people with it.
Problem is that the most commonly associated thematic for a whip wielder are slave master (very controversial) and dominatrix (also controversial). Don't really think Riot would want to design a champion with themes like that.
I recommended this like a month ago - and specifically as an ADC - for a post asking for an ADC who used weapons that weren't bows, spears, or guns.
Yeah, it's obviously a potential design space. But who is the whip wielder? Riot actually has to develop a character - design her model, her animations, her ability icons, her lore, her kit, her theme, her sound bites - and all of these things have to work in tandem and make her feel like she belongs in Runeterra and League and not some other game.
I like the whip idea but I think they'd be ap instead of ad since the whip animation would take too long, and you can't build attack speed without causing lag.
