Champion kit #37, northern Burst Mage (ice)

Hello you people, I'm FúrinKazan and, although a level 10 account, I'm actually close to 400 in the BR server. I recently tried to reach out to Riot about my projects for League of Legends, but unfortunately they only deal with graduated people.

Anyway, the projects I made for the game have no use anymore so I decided to publish them all. They are champion kits, counting up to 120 with unique abilities, defined classes, gameplay and numbers for those who like. The idea is to publish one champion per day until April. I also have some champion updades and they might show up sometimes.

I see a lot of good and creative kit concepts and reworks everywhere on the internet. However, if its gameplay is not coherent, it's not a champion. If numbers are not right, it won't work. Riot abandons a lot of cool fantasies because they end up failing at executon, so I bring you the abilities instead, for people to imagine a theme as they want. Here we go (leave a comment and take a look at my older posts!):

  • Tanemune Date (names are merely for inspiration and representation)
  • Burst Mage core traits: explosive damage, set-up crowd control, little-to-no mobility, fragile

Passive: Foundations of the North: Tanemune's basic abilities apply Foundations of the North to enemy champions for the duration of their effects and for up to 0.5 second after they end. Enemies that remain under the effect of Foundations of the North for at least 2 seconds are frozen and stunned.

A same enemy champion cannot be stunned more than once every few seconds, but still have Foundations of the North applied to them.

-Stun duration: 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6 seconds -Cannot happen again within the next: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds

Values at levels 1/5/9/13/17.


1st Skill: Tanemune touches the ground, progressively freezing the area within the line towards the selected direction and dealing damage to enemies hit by its creation. The ice remains for 3 seconds, and enemies that enter contact with it will take damage and slide towards the same direction of their intended movement, but disarmed, unable to declare attacks, cast abilities and with reduced speed.

Enemies slide from one end of the terrain to the other, based on where they entered contact with it. Enemies may slide numerous times, but only take damage once.

-Damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 60% AP) as Magic Damage -CD: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds


2nd Skill: Tanemune blows away a powerful wave of freezing winds over 1.5 seconds towards the targeted direction, dealing damage and slowing enemies hit within a long and narrow conical area. While blowing, Tanemune moves with 30% reduced** Movement Speed** and the area of effect accompanies his movement without changing direction.

Tanemune can cast his other abilities while blowing, but his Ultimate cancels this one.

-Damage (over 1.5 seconds): 80/140/200/260/320 (+ 90% AP) as Magic Damage -Slow: 60/65/70/75/80% -CD: 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 segundos (begins when the effect ends)


3rd Skill: Tanemune throws an ice shard at the targeted enemy, dealing damage. If the target is under the effect of Foundations of the North, he takes 40% increased damage. If the target is an enemy champion stunned by Foundations of the North, this percentage increased to 100% and he also takes additional damage based on his missing Health.

Has no Cooldown. Instead, Tanemune cannot target the same enemy within 3 seconds (reduced by Cooldown Reduction).

-Damage: 50/80/110/140/170 (+ 40% AP) as Magic Damage -Increased damage: 70/112/154/196/238 (+ 56% AP) as Magic Damage -Maximum damage: 100/160/220/280/340 (+ 80% AP)[+ 4/4.5/5/5.5/6 (+ 1.2% AP) of the target's missing Health] as Magic Damage


Ultimate: Tanemune imbues a thick ice sheet at the targeted enemy champion for 3 seconds, dealing damage and slowing him by 30% (the effect may be intercepted by another enemy champion). After this time, the imbued ice shatters, dealing damage and slowing all nearby enemies for 1.5 seconds. The effect still occurs if the enemy champion is killed before 3 seconds, but the damage dealt is modified.

If the enemy champion is under the stun of Foundations of the North at the moment the ice shatters, its damage is increased by 50%. The ice can be detonated earlier if the ability is reactivated after at least 1.25 seconds.

-Initial damage: 120/160/200 (+ 30% AP) as Magic Damage -Damage (shatter): 150/275/400 (+ 60% AP) as Magic Damage -Modified damage: 12/16/20 (+ 1% AP)% of targeted enemy champion's Maximum Health as Magic Damage -CD: 120/100/80 seconds
