Soraka has 2 white skins. Why not make 1 more? ;D Besides they made Eve black in a skin.. what's wrong with making Order of the Banana Soraka consistent with her splash?

You know Runeterra has no Caucasians, right? The Caucasus region doesn't exist there.

Okay fine I used fair skinned. BetteR?

This post is collar-pullingly uncomfortable. It sounds very racist... you probably could have said it like "Sorka skin looks better as a human?" or something like that.

Yatsufuså1 votes

The reason I didn't say human is because her ears are still dryad-y. It just sounds wrong.

DeloricVI1 votes

More wrong than the very racist "Riot, please make Soraka a white girl"?

lol

Well what else do you want me to say? She's a blue-skinned, divine fantasy being in a universe where there's no other way to say "white" aside from human. I mean come on, Lucian is human, but you don't refer to him as white, do you? He's "black". Can't say African or African American since there isn't any of those things in Runeterra.

Do you understand now why I said I wanted a white girl Soraka?

I did sort of overstate things by not using enough words. It's a problem I have often. I just meant to point out that it (unintentionally) sounds a bit racist. I honestly don't know what I was on about with that second comment.

But that's not Soraka. :*(

Is Divine Soraka not Soraka either? That skin shares the same skin tone as the one you see in the Order of the Banana splash.

This is the sweetheart Annie splash art all over again, her skin is purple in the splash art but the lighting makes it look more fair skinned.

But Nami is in the same splash and her skin is clearly two different colors- blue and beige. Plus Soraka's eyes and clothes are distinctly purple as well. Her skin in game is intensely purple, contradicting the splash so badly.

Soraka is directly under the light, it's effect will be more intense on her. Nami is to her left, father away from the light and as such will not be affected as much as Soraka.

Plus, Soraka's skin is rather light even if it's purple, lighter colors can be easily mistaken for other lighter colors.
