Why are the new Wukong and Leblanc skins becoming legacy skins?

These are actually really cool skins. Why is Riot locking them away in the vault right away? We could get new players next week who decide they like them. Or we could have players on hiatus (taking a break from the game) who come back in a few weeks and decide they like it.

they do this for most holiday skins. they re-release them the following year, so i wouldn't worry about not being able to get them again. just a pain in the ass to wait a year for it.

It's Harrowing skins, seasonal skins are called seasonal for a reason.

I guess it's like anything else. People want to be unique. In this game, that means having something others can't get. I'm sure there are players who will buy the skin if it's legacy and wouldn't otherwise.

That said, with how often the legacy vault opens up, it seems silly to even bother creating it. Almost borderline false advertising. "Get this skin this week or you'll never get it (unsaid: except when we release it each year on a discount)".
