A Voidborn support: Xol'Qua (and Uya'Qua): Bringers of Silence

Within the crevices of the most remote and frigid mountains of the Freljord lie a race of Voidborn. The Resa'Qua are beings that revel in stasis, and the cold howling peaks of the Freljord offer some degree of that on Runetaria. The Resa'Qua are not satisfied with simply existing in stasis, however; they desire the entire plane of existence to be still and silent as well.

Xol'Qua and Uya'Qua are arbiters of the Resa'Qua, and where they tred leave marks of Voidfrost, a frightening substance that does not leave things without heat, but rather, without any essence of being. They exude and embrace the aspect of nothingness.

Xol'Qua: Bringers of Silence Melee Disruptor

P: Arbiters of Silence -- Xol'Qua's basic attacks mark their targets with Voidfrost. Xol'Qua's spells and allied champion's spells and attacks consume the mark, silencing the target and preventing them from using basic attacks for 1.5 seconds. The same target can not be marked for 8 seconds after the mark is consumed, but attacking the same target will refresh the mark.

Q: Abdicate -- After a brief delay, target area is consumed by strong Voidfrost, marking all enemies within even if Arbiters of Silence is on cooldown for the victims. If Obliate consumes a mark from Arbiters of Silence, the victim is dealt aditional true damage.

W: Cipher -- Xol'Qua rip open reality in a horizontal area in front of them. Enemies that come in contact with the tear are dealt damage andare pushed away from the point from which it was cast. Cipher can be recast before the tear appears to change the push to a pull in the opposite direction, toward its casting origin.

E: Mind Pierce -- Xol'Qua's next basic attack is empowered, becoming ranged and dealing bonus damage equal to a percent of the target's current health. Mind Pierce can not consume a mark of Voidfrost.

R: Expanse of Nothingness -- Xol'Qua root themslves, chanelling and becoming immune to other crowd control effects for the duration. While chanelling, an aura releases around them growing in size over time. Enemies caught in the aura are dealt damage and stunned for 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 seconds. If Expanse of Nothingness consumes a mark of Voidfrost, it deals true damage and the stun duration is doubled.

That's a really cool design, and very interesting take on void creatures.

I really like the W and the R especially, they seem like very unique but also balanceable abilities!

The E is cool as well, but seems to be serving more as an auto-reset / poke ability. It functions fine, and I have nothing to add about it.

Q is cool, but given the feedback I'm about to give it might not fit as well with the kit anymore.

The passive is technically a polymorph, as another user has said here as well. This is fine and good, and the way it works (flavor text) is really cool and fits perfectly with the kit. The only problem I see with it is that it is really powerful to be able to apply a polymorph to each enemy separately and do it every 8 seconds. It would be like a super powerful Udyr E. Granted, it has to be triggered by allies, but in my opinion that doesn't balance out with the sheer amount of disruption this passive gives you.

My personal recommendation would be to make it so that instead of preventing enemies from casting or attacking, make it so that their spells and auto-attacks for the duration are weakened. This could be done several ways:

  1. You could make it so that you mark allies and the mark protects them from some of the damage or cc effects they would otherwise suffer over the duration of the buff. (Mechanically it might work like a shield ability that grants tenacity)

  2. You could make it so that you can mark both allies and enemies. Allies that receive the mark can attack enemies that are also marked to consume both marks and trigger the effect.

3 second polymorph (this is essentially what you have laid out) is really reallyl dumb, plus none of that is a support kit at all, if your version of a support is a bunch of soft cc and damage then i would prefer not to have you as a support. but as a midlaner or niche toplaner i think it would pretty dang cool

You are aware that Silence + Disabling AAs is just a polymorph without the minor slow, right?

I would honestly love to see a champion like this added in. We have many different types of supports, but seeing a voidborn as a true support would be interesting (Not including the rare Chogath or Malzahar support players)
