Bad Katarina Concept [By a Kat main!]

Remove her R, since her q's preparation, and her w, out dmg it, and instead make it so her r instantly activates her passive. This is a shitty idea, and I hope it's never implemented, but it popped into my head so i decided to post it :b. And to the mod who deleted this before, Netherdrake, it is an ability rework concept, and therefore belongs in Concepts and Creations. I mean c'mon, that might as well be common sense. Concepts, of ANY KIND, may be posted here, as stated here, on the Concepts and Creations page - "Think you've got a great new skin or champ idea up your sleeve? Baked a sweet League-theme cake? Drawn a sublime masterpiece you'd like to share with others? Whatever you've cooked up, Concepts & Creations is the place to share and get feedback on your latest League creations and concepts."
Please, read the provided information before you try to correct behavior, this is allowed to be in Concepts and Creations, stop removing it, I'm submitting a ticket informing Riot that one of their moderators keeps deleting my post, despite it being in the correct section.

Hey darkcastkiller,

I wanted to pop in and clarify a little bit as to why your discussion was removed previously.

The Concepts & Creations boards are meant for new or original content such as ideas for new champions/skins and any other League related content such as videos, art, etc.

When it comes to existing champions and and ability reworks/changes we refer and urge players to make discussions in the Gameplay and Balance boards as it pertains more towards game balance.

In the end we just want your discussions to be in the most applicable boards.

For now, feel free to leave this discussion here or delete it and repost it in the Gamplay and Balance boards, but for future reference a discussion of this type is more suited for Gameplay.

That would not be correct though. The Gameplay board specifically states it is for discussion of such things as, but not limited to;

  • Patches
  • Changes
  • Personal Strategies
  • Speculation
  • Otherwise information on playing the game.

It does not state it is a place for concepts, for reworks or otherwise. That is to say, the Gameplay board is not at all applicable to my submitted discussion, which, again, is a concept for an ability reworking. The source of this information is, again, found on the Gameplay Board, and is quoted below; "Here you’ll find all sorts of discussions related to playing League of Legends. From discussions about your personal strategies, to speculation about the next champion or patch, if it’s about playing the game, it goes here. This is not a Board for gameplay bugs, please head on over to Report a Bug for that."

In comparison, the Concepts & Creations boards, again, specifically states it is for discussion of such things as, but not limited to;

  • Skin Concepts
  • Champion Concepts
  • Art Pieces
  • General Concepts

Which, my post, a general concept for the reworking of a champion's ability, does fall under. With the source, again, being on the Concepts & Creations board, as quoted below; "Think you've got a great new skin or champ idea up your sleeve? Baked a sweet League-theme cake? Drawn a sublime masterpiece you'd like to share with others? Whatever you've cooked up, Concepts & Creations is the place to share and get feedback on your latest League creations and concepts."

So, now I ask you, how am I in the wrong, for posting a general concept, in the section of the boards for concepts? Instead of where you have told me to post the concept, which is not a place for concepts to be, but rather a place for discussion on current gameplay, and speculation of future gameplay, according to the information provided to users? Either way, the mistake, and any faults caused by the mistake, do not lie with me. If I am incorrect in where this post should be, then the information provided to the users needs to change. Until that happens, this is the proper place for my discussion according to Riot's guide lines.

Like I said, it's a shitty concept, btw, her e was all but unchanged, I hope this never gets implemented, but it's a concept, other people should get a chance to reflect upon it.

He E has a delay which it never had before. Her E had damage reduction which was transferred from her original W. Her E isn't blinking her only behind targets and it doesn't ward hop anymore. "unchanged"

? Her E does not have a delay, it is still instant, yes they removed the ward hop in exchange you hop to your w and qs, and no it doesn't just teleport behind them, now you can position it, still barely changed.

Downvote me all you want. When I wrote to Riot to ask if it's a bug they told me they added a delay so there could be more counter play. Otherwise why do you think skillshots/basic attacks and all that BS teleports with you, while before it didn't? Or you just dont play Kat at all and dont know. Nvm

P.S the trash Q W hop isnt even 10% as good as the ward hop which Lee Sin and Jax still abuse...

noone is downvoting you, I must have been mistaken, but if there is a cast time, it's barely existent for me not to have notcied it, I'm a kat main, skill shots never go with you, autos yes, they do it's hilarious to think you've made a cool escape only for a soraka banana to come flying at you XD, and you're right, the q isnt as good as a ward, but her q and her w together, are, you can do everything old kat could do. For instance, a tip you may or may not have notcied, when playing kat you can use your w next to a thin wall, and shunpo to the otherside of the wall.

The thin wall. I'm doing it daily and it has a way too big chance to fail, compare to ward jumping. So it's pretty bad. I'm getting Lux snares/slows. And other such CC teleported with me ,even if I shunpoed out. The spell itself teleports with me and CCs me and ruins my life. Guess you're playing with too much ping to notice it, or you just dont play with that many CC users.

I have 20 ping, what's yours? Maybe the problem is that I'm simply able to faster escape the zones than the enemy champs can use them to damage me. If I ever go up against someone with like... 10 ping, maybe I'll see the same things happen, until then I'm fine with the way she is. And as for the changes to shunpo, I'll agree it was nerfed, but ward jumping is really unhealthy- no one should be able to, it's stupid, and I prefer being able to choose where around the enemy I'll land, so I can dodge skill shots and such, but maybe that's just me, it is funny getting accused of scripting for dodging something because people don't understand how shunpo's landing works :b

Funny. I got 40 Ms and I still have the issue. At 20 I'll probly see it way more clearly and it would annoy me twice more while at 4-5 I wont have any problem as the game wont have any delay at all... I'm getting reported for scripting daily, even if the broken skillshots hit me after I ran off the range/hitbox. End of that.

meanwhile Lee/Jax can ward jump. Tristana/Kha/Zed can go anywhere they want without a target at all... SO don't tell me how Kat's ward jump is unhealthy. Especially when I'm a Kat jungle/support main and that ward jump was vital.

Hey another kat support main, lol, I play her in both too, and I never found the ward jump vital, Lee and Jax need those abilities altered, Zed has to set up a target, Tristana is broken and fuck her, Khazix is a bitch, and none of them have the q, e, reset e combo kat has, that's part of the reason it's fine to me, if she could still ward hop, she could set two wards, hop to one, w, do her thing, hit the w, shunpo back out. But that's my imo, I like the new kat, as long as my connection stays good :b Also, someone went through and downvoted all your things, so I upvoted to counter it.

Kha and Tristana have the E reset, wtf u talking about? The new kit is pretty pointless... And i dont see how you like Kata at all if you keep doing that shitty ship and you dont even wanna check my fanfiction, but whatever...

they called me a noob for not having level 7 at 25k mastery... even if that's when level 5 is open...

Kha and Trist both have resets on kill, not on hitting a w or q. Her old kit was binary, the new one adds skill I love it.

I like the Kat x Garen ship because it's cute, and is pretty much canon, as do a lot of people, there's an old saying for that; People love a tragedy. I don't wanna check out your fanfic because I can tell I won't like you characterization of Katarina, you don't even ship her with Garen, I know I won't like it.

My characterization of Katarina is what she really is. This "ship" isn't cannon and it's disgusting and wrong in so many ways. And I know you wont like my fanfiction, that's why I poked you so you can at least try chapter 1 just for the lolz (The real chapter 1 of part 1, not chapter 1 of part 2)

Plus my account is level 14, from which I posted the screenshot. With 30 bot games at start. Just pointing out.

kitty katarina got banned 2 weeks after it got level 30. My main had 400k before it got perma banned, my 2 alts got 100k each and this one is at 27k againts diamond/plat smurfs, as the system doesnt allow me to play with newbies.
