Illaoi - Carries around a flotation device that lets out air. Her tentacles are pool floater stick things.

Bard - Meeps are little water balloons. Q is a splash of water. W is water balloon that fills over time. E is a sun shaped entrance.

Orianna - Ball is a beach ball. W makes sand markings on the ground. R makes the ball a "Sprinkler".

Jarvan IV - Water particles and sunglasses. Ult creates a pool with water inside.

Sivir - Throws Frisbees. Ult trail leaves sandy footprints.

Hey SurJhin I like your ideas! Particularly because when we have open ideation sessions these are the kind of 'hooks' that we think about. If we can come up with ideas that fit perfectly for a bunch of abilities and really resonate with the champion we feel like we're onto something valuable. It's a great way to support skin suggestions.

Every time we talk about Pool Party (which happens a lot) we inevitably bring up pool noodles. I can't believe we have 10 pool party skins and not a single pool noodle! How did this happen? Also since Illaoi's release we have been throwing around ideas for her tentacles. My favourite is from a Rioter named Kyle who stops by my desk each morning to make a crazy suggestion (he pitched Meowkai to me back in 2013) who came up with 'Used Car Salesman Illaoi' that would have those wacky waving arm inflatable tube guys as her tentacles.

A friend of mine who is too non-social to use the forums proposed this idea which I wholeheartedly agree with. Pool party Illaoi using a coconut (or beach ball) to smack people and palm trees instead of tentacles. This has the added benefit of putting palm trees all over the map so that the rift will look more summery without needing to actually change the map in any way. She could even leave a sand statue for the vessel instead of a glowy spirit. (all credit for this idea goes to Metaknightmare)

I like the idea of this being way to make SR feel more summery. As a long time player I do miss seasonal maps.

I remember early last year at Pool Party ideation I walked in and wrote POOL NOODLES and underneath drew Pantheon and J4 with plastic sandcastle buckets on their heads and pool noodles. Fun times.

Pool Party Zyra - so many possibilities with this.

Her ranged plant could be a sunflower, with sunglasses of course, squirting water.

Her melee plant could be the ever-mentioned pool noodle thwacking people.

Her E, instead of vines, could be some of those floating lane separators tangling people up.

Her ult could involve throwing down plastic kiddy pool that expands and the pop-up would be water of course.

That is a good piece of art, but other than the beach ball and bathing suit there is nothing about that skin which says "pool party". The beach ball might be enough of a hook but it's not like ziggs who has a ton of particles all of which can be pool-party themed. If you really want pool party ahri to be a thing figure out a way to incorporate beach themes to the rest of her skills. Maybe a life preserver (with a rope) for her charm? Water Balloons on her W an ult? Something like that which would add to the pool party fantasy.

I've been thinking about it and I'm not really sure yet. What would her tails and ears be like? What other accessories could she have? How would her W, E and R be 'pool party' themed and what could we do for her recall that would be a great fit for the theme and Ahri? If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them >:)

But, if we want her to have water particles, it may clash with her Atlantean skin. Although, the two themes really are different and each is unique on its own. Kindlejack, is reusing particles in a case like this a possibility? Do you think it may create more problems than it solves? I mean, we've recently seen a similar case (only smaller) with Tahm Kench having his Master Chef passive indicator reused for his new (and awesome) Poro Kench skin, because it just fits so well.

How about completely new water particles for Pool Party Syndra, which (the water) would be, perhaps, lighter and/or more sparkly, and/or with golden sand particles (along with the water)?

I think that a sand based shockwave on her Q spawn and W would fit better than water.

For E as you said it would look good to have lighter, sparkler water.

For her ult and actual Qs either volleyballs or beach-balls fit quite well.

I think there'd be more than enough ways to differentiate this skin from Atlantean Syndra. Atlantean Syndra also fills a different niche, it's far more dark and edgy (which I personally hate).

Anyway I always suggest Syndra for every event because she's a champ that works so well with so many themes.

Yeah, I agree with you on everything you said. I personally don't really like Syndra's current skins enough to buy them, but I think a Pool Party skin for her with those suggestions would be awesome. :D

I'd be happy with the red one that I posted below as a base model, but the one shown in the Ziggs splash would also be nice - not particularly picky since:

which I won't deny. Yeah yeah, I know, ༼ ಠ ͟ʖ ಠ ༽ fite me. ༼ ಠ ͟ʖ ಠ ༽

I think the blonde/brown hair and the sandy colored tails would look really good here, but that's just because it's with the red. Likewise if she's in a darker color like the purple, the standard black hair and white tails look better. It all depends on the which color is used.

Q could be the beach ball that seems consistent on a lot of fan art.

W could be water balloons exploding on contact.

The charm I realize has to stay the same for clarity reasons.

The ult is tough because its animation is so fast. I was thinking about it having something to do with diving, but it's already kind of like that, and the quick motion might be hard to notice a difference if one is added. It's easy to say add a water effect, but what else can you really do without changing the animation?

As for the recall, I'm not sure off the top of my head. Possibly having something to do with playing with the beach ball or maybe throwing a bunch of water balloons at the ground like a Syndra ult and diving into the puddle as if it were deep, emerging out of the water at the fountain.

How I picture a Pool Party Ahri is this:

Her tails could each have a little arm floaty on them, it would be pretty funny. She can put goggles over where her ears would be, laying them back or covering them completely. Alternatively, she could have a swimcap or earplugs in, signifying because of their size, she'd wanna keep water out of them.

W, as suggested below by Keevalroy, could be water balloons, splashing on contact with the enemy.

Her charm could just be a splash of water, pink and in a heart shape, for clarity.

Her ult could have her 'Swimming' through water, with big splashes of water going around her when she dashes, imagine a jet ski, how the waves go around them. And the attacks could also be water balloons.

Her recall, in my opinion, could be her just suntanning. Laying out a towel, then lying down and tanning, switching sides and then standing up right before recall ends.

Some other things could be adding an inner tube to her, to go along with the floaties on her tails.

For a pool party Ahri skin, I wouldn't mind seeing Ahri acting as a playful fox in water for her recall =D (Gleefully dashing/jumping into a couple puddles, and splashing those around her?)

I love all of Reposer's ideas though - I think they capture the idea of having fun at a pool party over just a smexy spirit/fox lady in a swimsuit.

Ekko is my favorite champion, it would be awesome to have a skin similar to what Sora from Kingdom Hearts would look like, but obviously without the name "KH" in the skin so Riot doesn't get in trouble.

My idea for a skin like that would be to of course first of all, have Ekko's headphones, maybe a red or yellow color again. Have a black slim tank top/wife beater with a shark tooth necklace.

His baggy shorts should be red with some chains on the back end

His hair should be white, maybe a Jamaican dreadlock style, or his traditional Mohawk that's white.

His weapon of course should be a keyblade, probably a long black keyblade

P- should display a dark red Q- Spins out a black/red gadget thingy W - center should be black with glowing red ring E - When he pops E, have a black ring circling his keyblade which tells the players his E has been activated and he is ready to blink, or make it red. When he dashes in with E/blinks, a trail of black smoke should be left behind for a quick second

R- His clone should be red, and when he ults, and so should his image when ulting.

Q is a volleyball/beach ball. W are frisbees which she throws out, and E could be a heart but with water or sand effects. The effects on her R could be simple water effects or sand (like she's throwing sand or splashing someone with water), and her dash could be her surfing on a body board. Recall is her bouncing the ball up or throwing the frisbee which circles around.

Alternate would be she uses aquatic creatures (ie she's one of those people who goes to beaches to collect shells and stuff). Q is a pufferfish or an urchin (both are ball-shaped), W are starfish/seastars/urchins that circle her, E are 2 seahorses (when they mate they actually do have that heart silhouette), and R could be her throwing water/sand/fish/lobsters/anything-you-want at them with some nice water/sand effects trailing behind her, or better yet she surfs on a sting ray. I've stepped on sting rays before and you do travel with them a short while when they jet away. Tie in the theme by having her swimsuit be made out of seashells and seaweed, but any type of swimsuit would work. Her recall could be looking through a bucket of shells or poking at the pufferfish and it inflating. Pufferfish are always funny. Or she could dig through sand anf find something or gets pinched by a crab. There are just so many ocean creatures you could use that work.

Not sure if you need to change her tails and ears though. Tails could be fins which I'm sure you could make look really nice. As for the ears, maybe you can give her goggles/snorkle that she pushed up onto her head? So that the eyepieces are where her ears would be. Makes sense for someone who wants to go and collect shells and things on the ocean floor.

I really like 'Collector Ahri' because it would have some really unique visuals even among the pool party line, but still fit very well. Also fits Ahri's theme about being a curious fox. You could even have a story behind it - she was partying with the other champs and wants to fit in but unsure how, so she goes and tries to finds pretty gifts for everyone in the ocean so she can be friends with them. She can give Amumu a blobfish cause it reminds her of him.

Pool Party Lissandra - Particles can either be water or sand. Ult traps people in giant inflatable toys. :3 Pool Party Elise - Spiderlings are water balloons. Cocoon is a glob of sunscreen. In spider form, each leg has a floaty/water wing. :3

Pool Party Lissandra is my dream skin.

(This would obviously be her Legend skin but..)

Lissandra would wear a long, dark blue sun dress and a large black sun hat with a blue ribbon. Her ice crystals that she stands on and moves with would be replaced with a sand castle that would form towers as she moved.

Passive, when used would cause the ribbon to untie. When it readies, the ends of the ribbon would retie into a bow.

Q, would be a thrown, closed beach umbrella that would open if a target was hit to extend the range.

W, would be a poofing area of sand, if a champ was hit it would trigger a beach chair to snap on their legs for the root.

E, would pop up three standing surf-boards and send them sliding in a straight direction, tapping E again would cause her to tp.

R, would create a circle of sand. The sand castle at her feet would then grow to full size, covering her. Casting on an enemy would cause the sand circle to appear but instead of a castle, a port-a-potty would pop up and encase the champ.

Her backing animation would raise a small wooden shack around her with "Rentals" written over it. It'd have a surf board on one side, umbrella's and chairs on the other. Liss would walk up to the window/bar of the shack and put a shovel and pail on one side. She'd then pick up a rag and start cleaning the counter and humming happily as she backs.

Q: Throwing life jackets at everyone. STAY SAFE!!!

W: Dives to ally, yelling "You forgot your sunscreen!"

E: Giant lifeguard ring appears as the "shield"

R: Loud lifeguard whistle, "Clear the pool!", giant splash with lifeguard rings where the ice fissure usually is.

And, of course, poros with sunscreen on their noses play in water in front of him and he has to save one as his recall.

I think Gragas and Corki will look amazing with water ability effects. (P.S. I really want to see Gragas in bathsuit and Corki with float (like these with the duck head) instead of plane.
