#Abilities

Passive: Void Acid

Innate: Every 12 seconds, Zhi'Xar's or his Host's next attack against an enemy deals 12-60 (+ 15% AP) magic damage per second for 3 seconds and reduces the target's armor by 20% for 4 seconds.


Q: Corrosive Spittle Cost: 20 Cooldown: 3 seconds Range: 800

Passive: Hitting enemies with abilities grants them a stack of Staggering Slime for 4 seconds. At 3 stacks, the Host's next attack stuns the opponent for 1 / 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 / 1.8 seconds.

Active: Zhi'Xar spits an acidic spittle in a line that deals 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+ 50% AP) magic damage to enemies hit and slows them by 10% for 4 seconds. The slow stacks up to 3 times.


W: Symbiosis No cost Cooldown: 12 seconds Range: 450

Active: Zhi'Xar latches onto target ally, becoming untargetable and shielding the ally with his healthbar. Zhi'Xar will cast his abilities from his host, but he can't attack. The Host takes 70% (- 7.5% per 100 AP) of the damage Zhi'Xar absorbs.

Note: The shield acts like another health bar, so max health damage like item 3153's passive have an effect.

Reactivate: Zhi'Xar jumps off the host and releases a shockwave when he lands, dealing 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 70% AP) magic damage and slowing nearby enemies by 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% for 2.5 seconds.

Range: 500 (cast) / 300 (AoE radius)


E: Deathfog Cost: 35 Recharge time: 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 seconds (max 2 charges) Range: 950 (cast) / 300 (gas radius)

Active: Zhi'Xar launches an acid blob at target location that releases deadly miasma where it lands, dealing 16 / 22 / 28 / 34 / 40 (+ 22% AP) magic damage per second and slowing by 20%. Lasts for 5 seconds.

Note: One cloud can only apply one stack of Staggering Acid. Note #2: It has a projectile speed, instead of a Morgana W that arrives instantly.


R: Caustic Barrage Cost: 100 Cooldown: 140 / 130 / 120 seconds Range: 950

Active: Over the next 3.5 seconds, Zhi'Xar sends out a contious volley of acid blobs that deal 25 / 32.5 / 45 (+ 7% AP) magic damage to first enemy hit and slows them by 40 / 50 / 60% for 1 second. The volley can be redirected by moving the cursor.

Note: Shoots about 20 spittles (resulting in up to 500 / 650 / 900 (+ 140% AP) magic damage).


Zhi'Xar is a long ranged support who dominates teamfights with his sustained damage, crowd control and powerful debuffs. Zhi'Xar's unique ability to become untargetable while taking damage in the place of his ally and crowd controlling enemies is the core of his kit, mastering the use of Symbiosis is critical to playing him effectively. Void Acid can deal tons of damage to single targets and reducing their armor so they take even more damage from Zhi'Xar or his Host. Corrosive Spittle is Zhi'Xar's main damage and his only basic attack in Symbiosis so you better not miss it, and its passive gives him his only effective, instant crowd control to allow his Host to catch their target and keep it in place. Deathfog grants Zhi'Xar and the Host sustain in extended fights while dealing a lot of damage in large areas. Caustic Barrage can deal massive amounts of damage if it hits the focused target, it can be easily blocked by minions.




#Lore

From the cuddliest of creatures to the fiercest of beasts, Zhi'Xar doesn't hesitate making any of them his host. A parasitic voidling that instinctively seeks for the strongest, Zhi'Xar spits corrosive blobs that evaporate everything they touch, letting him and his host feed on the foolish creatures who enter their domain.

Will come back to review, for now though you NEED to change his W.

I would just build a shit ton of hp on Zhixar and hop on my fellow Jinx, causing her to be massively tanky.

It would be nice if you were to make an actual poll as opposed to a rigged one so that people could accurately say how they feel about the champion. If you just put two positive options, you don't actually get any feedback on the champion, so it's pointless.

As many have mentionned, W seems like something that can be abused easily, even with all the changes you made.

One quick suggestion that could help solve the problem of balancing it: You get separated from your host and W goes on cooldown once you absorb 15/25/35/45/55% of your max health. Cooldown 24/20/18/16/14 seconds cooldown.

Like other commenters have said, (W) Symbiosis is really too strong in its current state. The shielding effect needs to be limited, and have a set duration. Damage reduction seems to be recommended over shielding, but I digress, as it tends to add 'invisible power' to the kit (you can't feel the effects of the spell as you would a shield, even with a notable visual marker). Shielding on the other hand, encourages building enchanter items, which can increase the shield power and overall damage that you want your champ to do.

As a side note, I think you may have to work on the champion theme a bit more, since it currently steps on a lot of Kog'maw's toes (some of the ability names are similar too). Not sure if these are placeholder things, but it can prove problematic in the long run of the contest. As it happens, I made a similar concept a few months ago for the CCOS, which you're welcome to peruse for reference
