Yone, The Stalwart Servant

Hello and welcome to the thread. I am your host, Muffled garbage and this is my idea for Yasuo's brother, Yone, to be in league.

Lorewise: Yone currently is dead in the lore. Yasuo's brother has been murdered. his body desecrated with wind techniques... wind techniques similar to the ones used by a certain HASAGI character.

Yone's body ends up taken by some Demacian troops stationed to fight off noxus invaders of Ionian allies. The Demacians noticed that petrecite was reacting to his body and therefore it's most likely magically infused in some way and must be destroyed.

The Demacian Troops take a boat ride home but they are led horribly astray from a storm. Their boat lands on the shadow isles and each of the soldiers are taken by an unknown force... an eldritch magic of a certain undead warlock Mordekaiser. After the entirety of the Demacian bodies are converted into an army of Shadow isles monstrosities, the undead warlock's magic is clearly leftover from an old spell. The magic seeps into every part of this new body, reviving it at the cost of those Demacian lives.Yone is reborn! His memory is severed and fractured. Under the spell of a long-gone mordekaiser, Yone relives a fractured memory of his life. He sees yasuo cutting apart boulders with wind... And feels a deep scar, one that couldn't be left by a sword.

Under a clear cut set of decisions anyone would come to the idea that they were murdered and left to rot in this forsaken wasteland. The revelation that Yone was murdered brought him to wish revenge upon his so-called murderer... whom uses wind to kill!

Now with a will to fend for himself and nothing left. Yone fights to avenge himself, unknowingly going after his own brother.

Playstyle: Yone would be an antithesis to everything Yasuo stands for. Yone wants to fight opponents who have lots of mobility or low cooldowns as those two things give Yone more defense and allow Yone to deal more damage. Opponents can simply pay attention and not engage Yone in unfavorable conditions. Yone is not good at approaching and will have to rely on teammates for Crowd Control purposes.

Yone is mostly single target damage with some skillshots that could theoretically hit multiple opponents but would most likely not do so.

Where Yasuo aims to outscale opponents via offense and damage alone, I plan to make Yone more akin to defensive play and being in a similar vein of playstyle to Poppy where he excels at shutting down movement while promoting interaction between the two players.

Yone's weaknesses are being weak early, no mobility, high early cooldowns, and relies on enemies to do a lot of damage.

Yone's strengths are being strong late, high defensive stats through passive, punishes characters for being hyper mobile, and can do a LOT of damage and disruption to enemy teams if they don't pay attention.

Items: Yone wants to build similar to a bruiser. Things such as Black cleaver, Deadman's plate, Ninja Tabi's, Sterak's gauge,Frozen mallet, etc.

P: Test of Patience Spells cast near Yone cause him to focus more on the task at hand. Each spell gives Yone a stack of patience. Each stack of Patience gives Yone 5-20 armor+magic resist (based on level) and 1% Cooldown Reduction. Yone can have a maximum of 2-16 stacks (based on level). Stacks last 5-10 seconds(based on level) before decaying.(If Yone gains a new stack of his passive it refreshes the decay time. Yone loses all stacks upon running out of time).

Visually this would be displayed as Yone gaining "circles" of protection around himself. Each circle being an extra stack of the passive to visually show how defensive Yone is as well as give a clear indicator of if Yone can cast his ultimate). Mathwise Yone at level 1 could have 10 extra armor, 10 extra magic resist and 2% cooldown reduction while at level 18 Yone could get up to 320 extra armor, 320 extra magic resist, and 16% cooldown reduction from his passive.

Q: Lines never to cross(Skillshot) Yone slashes the ground, leaving behind a horizontal line that lasts 5 seconds(think Yasuo Q range but horizontal) Enemies that cross the Horizontal line take 40/50/60/70/80 + 50% AD damage. This move stops dashes. (enemies can only be hit by the line one time per cast).

Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds Visually this would take on a similar look to Yasuo's Q with the initial slash but the actual marking on the ground would glow with the shadow isle-style glow.

W: Interference strike(point and click potential skillshot, Same range as current Pantheon W) Yone studies a target enemy champion. If the target moves within 0.3/0.5/0.7/0.9/1.5 seconds of Yone studying them, Yone slashes his sword which knocks enemies in a direct path to the target up for 0.5 seconds and deals 3/4/5/6/7% (+1% per 50 AD) max health physical damage. (max 150 damage to minions. )

Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds

Yone would yell something like "I'm watching you" and the screen would have those 2 black bars that pop up on the sides of TV's to visually and instantly show that his W is being used. Once an enemy activates Yone's W he would yell "Stop right there, scum" and the 2 black bars on the sides of TV's would disappear

E: Corrupted interference(close range explosion thingy. Think faster Vladimir E but more automated and smaller range) Passive:When this ability is not on Cooldown, Yone's basic attacks deal 1/2/3/4/5% of his Armor and Magic resist as physical damage.

Active: Every 17-13 seconds,Yone spreads his corruption, dealing 10% max health + 5% Armor +5% Magic resist Physical damage. Minions killed from this ability explode into Lines never to Cross(at whatever rank the Q currently is. If Q is rank 2 then the Minions killed from this ability explode into rank 2 versions of Q)

Cooldown: 17/16/15/14/13 seconds

This move would automatically activate every time the cooldown was up. Yone would be stuck casting the ability for 0.5 seconds. This move would visually show tendrils of the shadow isles plants reaching out of Yone when there was 1.5 seconds left in the Cooldown. This move would also force Yone to constantly push the wave a lot of the time so that he can't freeze the wave and zone his opponent off of minions for a year.

R: Path to revenge(think of a miniature Nunu or Swain ultimate plus a bit of Cho'gath due to the scaling)

Can only cast when Yone has 5 or more stacks of his passive

Yone consumes the stacks of his passive. Each stack consumed heals Yone 50 health per stack and grants him 2 AD permanently per stack consumed. Yone then explodes, dealing 110/170/220 + 90% total AD damage. Cooldown: 80/70/60 seconds

The size of the explosion would match the number of Rings around Yone. If Yone had passive fully stacked with a ton of rings around him, the entire giant area would be covered in the ultimate's damage

So there's my idea for Yone's potential return in the future. He'd lorewise be hunting after Yasuo similar to Yasuo's own hometown but more viscous with his undead ravenous attitude for Yasuo's blood. If the two met it would be a super samurai showdown reminiscent of the samurai movies that inspired Yasuo's creation. A battle between an evermoving machine and a still-standing solid samurai would be an epic one for sure.

Hope you enjoyed, have a nice day!

Mordekaiser is a non factor in Runeterra except for scaring the shiz out of them noxians with stories of a potential return. He has his kingdom in the after life or whatever and until he decides he wants more he's completely out of the picture.
