Udyr Gameplay Update Concept
Just to make sure things are clear, this is not a rework concept, it is updating Udyr to be more interesting and useful - especially in higher levels of play.
I do not feel Udyr has any severe game health issues, he just suffers from having a lackluster kit and too auto attack focused, which makes him one dimensional. Since he is a stance changer, he will need to have somewhat a basic attack focused kit, but that does not mean he cannot have real actives that are more interesting and engaging for the player to use, alongside his persistent effects.
This concept post I am going to focus on Udyr being more fun to play as, more interesting of a champion, and grant him a lot more skill expression and not just be the decision of "Do I go phoenix or tiger Udyr?".
Monkey's Agility (Passive):
Upon swapping stances, Udyr will dodge all basic attacks and abilities for 0.5 second.
The last ability Udyr used will be his persistent stance, granting him an effect that empowers his basic attack in an unique way.
At levels 6 and 16, Udyr gains 1 additional skill point to freely spend on his abilities.
Tiger Strike (Q):
Cooldown: 7 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Range: 600 units
Udyr sends a tiger spirit in the target direction, stopping at the first enemy in its path, dealing 30/60/90/120/150(+60%bAD) physical damage and causing Udyr to attack 20/30/40/50/60% faster against it for 5 seconds.
Passive: Udyr's basic attacks will cause his target to bleed for 30/60/90/120/150(+120/135/150/165/180%AD) physical damage over 3 seconds. Attacking twice against a bleeding target will apply the remaining bleed damage instantly.
Turtle Shell (W):
Cooldown: 7 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Radius: 250/275/300/325/350 units
Udyr unleashes a turtle spirit to create a stationary shell at his location for 5 seconds with 100/150/200/250/300(+100%AP) health, preventing all damage against Udyr and allies inside of the shell while it persists.
Passive: Every 3rd basic attack will heal Udyr for 2/3/4/5/6%(+1% per 100AP) of his own maximum health.
Mauling Bear (E):
Cooldown: 7 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Range: 600/750/900/1050/1200 units
Udyr unleashes a bear spirit in the target direction, creating a path of velocity for 5 seconds that grants Udyr 75% total movement speed while on it. Allies on the path gain 14/18/22/26/30%(+5% per 100AP) bonus movement speed.
Passive: Udyr's basic attacks will lunge a short distance and stun his target for 1.25 seconds, occurs once every 6 seconds against the same target.
Soaring Phoenix (R):
Cooldown: 7 seconds; Cost: 45-28 mana; Range: 800 units
Udyr sends a phoenix spirit in the target direction to blaze enemies is passes through for 30/60/90/120/150(+50%AP) magic damage and scorching the ground for 5 seconds that deals 10/20/30/40/50(+25%AP) magic damage per second to enemies above.
Passive: Every 3rd basic attack unleashes a burst of flames forward, dealing 40/80/120/160/200(+60%AP) magic damage to all struck enemies.
