Dubhan, the Shadow-Walker

This is a standard character concept post. However, while my previous posts have been rather technical, I'm going to make this one more conceptual. If you want a technical update, I'll be happy to post the details in the comments. But for now, just get a grasp of the concept, and please, tell me what you think.

Also, I'm debating the name. For instance, I personally like the name Dubhan, but I doubt anyone would understand that it's pronounced "Dove on" without my telling you. I'm also not 100% sold on the gender (I also liked the name Asra), so, if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Now, let's dive right in:

Type: ranged jungler/support with a possibility of a roaming mid. (Depends on playstyle, the kit will explain.) range: ~525

Passive: Attacking from outside an enemy's vision deals 20-56 (based on level) (+5% AP) additional magic damage.

Q: Drift through units (range ~600), infecting Neutral and Enemy minions for 4 seconds, causing them to attack your target. Deal 30/50/70/90/110 (+50% AP) magic damage to the infected minions over 3 seconds. Cooldown: decent, but on the longer side. Mana Cost: ~30/40/50/60/70

W: He becomes a field of moving shadow that acts like a mobile bush for his allies. Only pink wards grant vision of him, but you can see the blip of shadow as it obscures vision you should have. This ability is a toggle. Cooldown: ~1.5 seconds. Mana Cost: ~20 on cast +(9/12/15/18 -- based on ultimate level) per second.

E: Enter an enemy, suppressing abilities and controlling their movement for 1/1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8 seconds, dealing 60/75/90/105/120 (+75% AP) magic damage after he leaves. Cooldown: decently long. Mana cost: ~60 at all ranks.

R: The fog of war becomes a grasping void, enemies who enter the now solid fog of war are dealt 100/200/300 (+70% AP) True Damage over 4 seconds and completely blinded until they get out of the fog or the duration (7 seconds) ends. Cooldown: quite long Mana cost: ~100

That passive is too broken. Imagine him in top or bot lane where he stands in a bush at lv 1 and kills you before you know what is happening because you don't know where he is. That passive is likeTeemo on steroids. He could have full attack speed runes, take fervour to kill you in around 2 sec with ignite or exhaust

I don't think being able to weaponize the fog of war would be possible given it's technically client-side. You could theoretically just make it a global effect like Karthus', Soraka's, or Nocturne's ult, but not tie it directly to the fog of war effect itself.

His W needs a much higher mana cost per second. All you need is some mana regen items or item 3110 / item 3027 and you can be invisible for a ridiculous amount of time.

its a great concept but the idea of stealth is just a broken mechanic in game right now that's why rengar shaco evelyn have all fallen off love the idea

Contains an ability that plays with vision? Upvoted.

Seriously though, I think his W is a cool ability, and it's nice to see someone else try to explore the possibilities of the vision game.

I think the R has serious potential too (I'd avoid True Damage though).

I think his E is way too powerful in all the wrong ways and his Q is just kinda 'meh' (I don't get the 'infection', what's the flavor behind it?)

The passive is really neat, especially since it is dependent on whether or not they have sight of you. Believe it or not, I have a similar passive on my yordle thief concept, which also plays with the vision game. If I were you though I'd consider giving it a static cooldown.

Honestly though, I think we need more champs who play with sight, stealth, detection, and vision-denial. The fact that you have dared to go where few others have is commendable.

Announcing changes to his E --

It was: E: Enter an enemy, suppressing abilities and controlling their movement for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0 seconds, dealing 50/80/110/140/170 (+75% AP) magic damage after he leaves. Cooldown: decently long. Mana cost: ~60 at all ranks.

I'm changing the damage and the duration.
