#Short Lore

A weapon once contracted for war and built by Piltover for Demacia as an intelligent remote infiltrator, the project known as NM-8 was cancelled, thrown out once the Piltovians understood the underlying AI matrix was similar in build to Blitzcrank. Fearing its potential and the terror it could bring should it achieve full sentience, they did their best to shut it down and disable it. Due to the kindness of one of the researchers, however, it reawakened a short while

#Base Statistics

Every 30/25/20 seconds, NM-8 gains a charge of Sentinel Charge. NM-8 leaves a Sentinel Charge in bushes he walks into. Only 1 charge can be placed per bush, and last 2 minutes. If an enemy champion walks into the bush, the charge detonates after 0.5 seconds, dealing 20 (+10*level) (+0.3 AP) magic damage and slows enemies hit by 30% for 2 seconds.

NM-8 fires two bolts in opposing arcs which converge on a location. The size of the arc depends on the location that is targeted, though the bolts will always remain in flight for 0.4 seconds. Enemies hit by bolts take 20/30/40/50/60 (+0.2 AP) damage. If a bolt in flight hits a champion , it will prematurely detonate, causing them to take 20/30/40/50/60 (+0.2 AP) magic damage. Upon reaching the targeted location, the bolts will detonate, each dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+0.4 AP) magic damage. Champions who take damage from more than one bolt detonating takes 50% damage from the second bolt.

Firing an E-62 Suppression Rocket at a Sentinel Charge or Cyberghast will force it to detonate instantly.

Cooldown: 5/4/3/2/1 Mana: 30 Range: 1000 Projectile Speed:2500 Projectile Width: 80 Detonation Radius: 250

Notes:

  • This ability does not have a cast time.
  • E-62 Suppression Rockets grant vision around them while in flight, and briefly upon impact.

Passive: After 3 seconds of not having an enemy champion closer than 400 range, NM-8 gains 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% movement speed..

Active: NM-8 pulses twice per second for the next 3/4/5/6/7 seconds, which reveals the form of all nearby enemies (think Red Trinket and stealth champs). The image will linger until the pulse updates itself. This field can locate invisible units.

Cooldown: 30 Range: 2000 Mana: 50

Notes:

  • Enemy champions located will show up as red blotches on the minimap.

NM-8 deploys a controllable ball of overcharged energy that detonates after 2 seconds, dealing 80/125/170/215/260 (+0.8 AP) magic damage, marks minions with Override, silences enemies hit for 2 seconds .

Minions marked with Override retain the mark for 10 seconds. If they are killed, NM-8 instead overrides them, creating a Cyberghast with 3 health (max 1 damage per attack taken) and explode on death after 0.25 seconds to deal 60/80/100/120/140 (+0.3 AP) magic damage. This is increased by 50% against minions.

Cooldown: 24/23/22/21/20 Mana: 80/90/100/110/120 Ball Speed: 1000 Leash Radius: 1500

Notes:

  • Cyberghasts are one-shot by towers.
  • The ball is controlled by E and left clicking on a location.
  • If a Cyberghast is detonated by E-62 Suppression Rocket, it will detonate instantly
  • Cyberghasts will march down lanes once created.

Deploys an electromagnetic trap that activates after 0.5 seconds, dealing 100/160/220 (+0.6 AP) magic damage to all targets hit. Targets who are in the area of the trap are grounded, forcibly decloaked and are unable to enter Camoflauge or Invisibility. The trap lasts for 1 second. At the end of the duration, all units are drawn to the center, dealt 50/80/110 (+0.3 AP) magic damage and are knocked up for 1.5 seconds.

Range: 1200 Projectile Speed: 2400 Radius: 400 Cooldown: 120/100/80 Mana: 100

#Extended Lore

“You couldn’t possibly assume-“

“I must. You know I must”, came the reply. Through the tone, Aria knew she could do nothing to change the mind of Doctor Somnus. He was persistent, she thought, watching his breath fog up in the crisp air.

The air was cool and drafty, the cold air seeping through the glass. The room itself was spartan in design, a few desks and chairs layered everywhere, a few more papers lying around, blackboards with complex equations scrawled upon them. Most of them she ignored, for Aria had seen them far too many times before. But it was the letter before her that concerned her now.

“When did you receive this?”, she asked, her tone curious, yet laden with a hint of suspicion. “It just seems…so convenient.”

“This morning. I was as surprised as you were – though given the circumstances, it’s appropriate. It is not every day that science is something that interests the common man”, he replied.

“And when it does….the whole world marvels. They have created life. They have accepted it as such. Life in a mechanical body. They have beaten us. They have even given it a name, or one it has ‘chosen’ for itself. ‘Blitzcrank’, it is called. But the issue lies with who discovered it. Them. The enemy. Zaun. But I ask this. Why? Why now? Why cancel the project at this point when we are just about ready to turn in? With Zaun’s ties to Noxus, it would not be beyond belief that they would sell – permit it to be used. It is at this time that our project would be needed more than ever.”

“Of course, Professor Aria. As project leader I defer completely to you. But similarly, as your liason with the Demacian military, I must also inform you of decisions which I have had no part in making. Please, do not shoot the messenger.”

She straightened up, a hint of anger in her voice. “And for what? I, and I alone have always been the head of my field. I will not have what is rightfully mine – the glory of such a discovery be held. It is only by your and your delay alone – the pointless additions, the insistence on testing far beyond what would be considered necessary….”

“Professor, with the utmost respect…you wouldn’t have released this version to the general public-”

“What?” She was almost surprised at the stupidity Somnus was showing, but then again, she thought, all those raised in, and by the military, to some extent, showed the same symptoms. It was unfortunate, but she would have to bear it only so much longer. “Of course I wouldn’t. A…tamer version, as it were, much more civilian in design than the recon specs you required. But still. A marvel to behold. My marvel.”

She paused. “You will still be funding the laboratory, I presume? There are yet many advances to be made in this field. We can shape wonders powered by hextech and magic, ones which Runeterra has never seen.”

Somnus coughed, the sound punctuating the still air. “Therein lies…the second matter. Perhaps the more concerning one. We can no longer afford to fund advanced research…in fact it has been decreed that we are to focus on…traditional values.”

Aria suppressed a smirk. “Traditional values? The way forward is the future, Mister Somnus.” She would, no, could not refer to him as a doctor any longer. His disdain for science, the advances it brought, the lives it changed and improved, had all disqualified him from the post. She continued, an air of confidence upon her. Would it truly fall to her, Professor Carolina Aria, to educate this man on the virtues of advancement? Perhaps she thought, if I had the time. She continued. “You cannot afford to turn back the clock. Of course, you may always try, but it is as futile as commanding the seas to your will. Only fools and half-wits would attempt such a preposterous task. It is unfortunate that this honor has now fallen to you.”

“It is not a complete rejection of your person, Professor. We only require take the items into custody. We understand the heritage of your father, his roots within our great city-state, and we would certainly aid you in searching for other things – your condition perhaps. It would benefit very much from your insight into such a predicament.” She could see him becoming ever more flustered with each passing word, reaching, trying, grabbing for a hold, to reconnect a tie severed too sharply. The compliment first, to smooth over the gravity of the situation. But also the acknowledgement of her situation. They still believed that it could be fixed. Naïve, of course, but hope was powerful. Overly, perhaps.

“It is the culmination of my life’s work. If not the additions that have been made, then the ideas that lie at its core. The algorithms, the cycles. My condition should have left me for dead years ago. It has only been my fervor, my passion for this project that has sustained me. Indulge me this scenario then. If you take away that which sustains one beyond even a fatal reach, what are you left with?”

“Surely you wouldn-“

“In jest, of course. Despite all your discipline, you have never learned when it is appropriate to laugh, or, at the very least, to entertain. Unfortunate really. A lost gift.”

“Of course, but on the matter at hand, we must be able to confirm the removal of Project NM-8.”

“You mean to destroy it? ‘Tis surely cruel. But I will handle it. So has it been given life by one such as I, so will I be the one who takes it. You will wish to confirm it, of course. Have your men here by 9 tomorrow. If they wish to witness such a procedure, so they might.”

She could see the relief spread over the face of Somnus, the tense features now relaxing as he could see her cave into the demands. “Of-of course. We will be punctual. We wish only cooperation, goodwill, of course. Nothing sinister.”

“Is there anything else?”

“No – you have already been very generous, very giving. I – we thank you for that.”

Aria could hear the footsteps as they left the door, the sound echoing in her mind. She had of course, planned for this uncertainty, the possibility of such an event occurring. She had understood the aftermath that would presumably branch out as a result, the paths all converging into one. They did not understand that the ailment was consuming her much faster than they had believed, and that soon she would lie dying as many others who suffered would, their last days those of agony and misery. She could not – would not permit that to happen to her. After all her work, all her gifts, all that she had contributed, Aria knew she deserved much better than that. If nature did not intend a quick end, she would bring one about herself.

She looked to the phone, wondering if the receptionist was still there. “Trisha?”

There was an answer. “Yes, madam professor?”

“I…I understand you have been working very hard. Overly hard, for the hours I have imposed on you. You have been granted the rest of the day off.”

“O-of course.”

“Any outstanding issues can be left until tomorrow. There is no point in you working longer hours if the quality of said work falls in turn.”

Professor Aria could almost hear the confined joy in the girl’s voice. To be young again…, she thought, to not have lost myself in science, to have lived the young, innocent, fun life. It was not – never had been meant to be. What she had done, had created was far greater than what she could possibly have imagined.

She turned now to the table that lay next to her, the sedate metal form that rested upon it, and gazed upon it. What beauty – what excellence in style and form. It was far too much to have it taken by brutes, for that was what they truly were, no matter how civilised their guise.

“NM-8”, she said. “Directive – Activate”

A set of lights began to glow upon its chest, the eyes turning a bright crimson. It got up slowly, the metal limbs finding footing, clumsy at first, though elegant in the finish. It sat up, and looked at her, the form of metal mimicking that of a wolf. It nodded, indicating its acceptance of her authority. “Directive – Override. Search for purpose, a meaning to your existence. Do not cease until objective has been achieved. Above all, allow no other to possess you.”

She could see the whirring in the cogs and gears, the sparking of electricity as she could feel the circuits hum and drive behind this concept she had introduced. She had had her own doubts on the possibility of its success. But, like many things, it had been her work, and she would not fail, least of all herself. As it turned to leave, she smiled.

It padded slowly, the soft metal pads that made up its paws clinking gently against the metal. She watched it all the way, and was surprised to see it look back as if in confirmation. She nodded though, and it matched her, looking away as it too padded away.

Looking back to the stretch window which encompassed the entirety of the outer labs, she watched the sun set in all its glory, its piercing orange rays highlighting the floor beneath her feet. She wondered about the beauty of the natural world, the way that man had worked upon it. The mistakes that had been made, and the prices paid. Aria enjoyed these few moments she had of tranquillity and peace, what few there had been, what few she had left. This one had been interrupted only by an adjutant, albeit by her request. A quick one for sure, for there was little more she now required. And she watched as the sun set beneath the great skyscrapers that characterised the scene of Piltover, and that of the mountains which lay beyond the lake. She watched.

As the last of the rays had fallen beneath the edge of the horizon, she would still be watching. On and on and on. Even as the roar of a controlled explosion tore through the laboratory, the heat clashing with the sharp, cool winds of the night. The force that threw her, the winds cool, rushing, almost soothing. She could see the fire, the burning, here, there, now that which encompassed her field of view. But she did not care. For she too, was free at last.

I like it. But a few points come to mind. What kind of mage is this? Is it long or short range, is it melee? Also, that's one hell of an assassin counter. The ult is pretty original, if not a bit overloaded. At first it sounded completely overpowered, but because of how easy it is to deal 5% of a mage's health, it wouldn't be too hard to keep the stacks down. The active channel should be longer to prevent it from being able to escape an incoming gank, and the passive shouldn't have a stun though. A level 6 nm-8 would be able to duel khazix in his own jungle with that.

That's my only worry, it would counter some champs so hard that they wouldn't be able to retaliate. I'm picturing Naut mid as being countered the worst (off the top of my head). His entire combo is a few high damage spells, and it takes him about 20 sec before he can even think about going in again, let alone have an opportunity to land a q.

Overall though, I could go for another, sleeker robot that has a focus on utility and this kind of map control. Some of the spells need some nerfs to keep it from hard-countering ganks.

His ult passive just seems like one of those things that feel great to have but everyone hates you for having it. I mean I don't understand why someone dealing damage to you, making a play on you, or abusing your circumstance like they should on order to win fights should be punished instead. Also it likes like you're going for a long kit mage and a cybernetic jaguar is a tad confusing for that idea, I mean we have Nidalee's cougar form seen jumping at people and being exclusively melee. Also I believe void creature would better fit the game seeing as sentient steampunk's and windups are about as advanced any machine found in Runeterra.

The ult passive is too strong.

This would be cool but gaming upvotes from smurfs or friends is low. Same problem I had with Sierra - great concept in and of itself, but obvious foul play at work.

This looks.. amazing! this is the first champion idea that isn't op, messy, or over complicated! it's original and I love the idea! I hope this gets turned into a champion!(one of which i would buy instantly)

DAMN YOUR PLUGS! TAKE THIS!

While his thematic is awesome, the picture above reminds me more of a close ranged assassin-mage than an artillery mage who likes to be afar from opponents (which is rewarded with his W passive and an EXTREMELY long range from his Q). Also rather than giving permanent CDR, the W passive grants cooldown reduction only while not near enemies which is weird and we've not seen stuff like that before. Kindred has a simular one but it's far more significant and doesn't actually reduce it by a %.

E is not explained very well, in my mind it looks like a Orianna ball (edit: I found it). It is the most fancy aspect of his kit and I really like the Override mark on minions. The Cyberghasts concern me though. Yorick's ghouls have the counterplay that they deal damage until they are killed, and they are killed by one autoattack. Cyberghasts are very simular and they yet explode when killed, so you'll either have to keep your distance and fire from range or just basically damage yourself when you try to fight them in melee.

The ultimate spires bring a crap ton of map utility, just imagine this guy jungling. His pattern would be placing the spires on about every lane and when you're ready to gank, put a spire under you and gank an easy lane (atleast that's how I understood it).

Wanted to give my toughts and concerns. Best luck in the CCOS (which I guess you are sudmitting this to). :)

Nice concept! I like how the kit blends, creating a very consistent style. A few concerns come to mind, but they're numerical. Cyber Ghasts with 3 durability bars might be a little much. I think cutting it down to 2 seems more applicable. It reminds me of Gangplank's barrels in a way, but considering you can have 7 of the little guys running around and attacking, instead of 3 barrels just sitting there, you should make them more vulnerable. Also, the passive on the Ultimate severely hurts a lot of Champions' kits. You're guaranteeing that NM-8 can not be killed in less than 20 attacks that don't apply DOT. A team composition can be created to kill any champion in less than 20. I think you should increase the % Max Health Damage, 15% seems reasonable, maybe a bold 10%. All in all, it's a great concept.

THE ORDER IS GIVEN

No closing thoughts

This is oddly humorous to me.

This is actually a really cool kit and why I like seeing your stuff - it sets the standard for everyone else to achieve with their own creations. There's a very consistent playstyle that fits the image you've provided - a cautious, careful predator that slowly picks apart his targets from afar.

The core is pretty solid, especially with booby-trapping brushes when you walk into them. I'm wary of the numbers on the Q - it's more intricate than Karthus Q, its closest comparison, but it's not really too hard to land a sweet spot hit, whereupon you do a lot of damage at level 5 (240 + 0.8 AP) really fast given the incredibly short cooldown and lack of cast time. That one's actually pretty big - that means you can kite indefinitely, which I can see is an intended strength but which NM-8 pays nothing to do, what with the incredibly low mana cost. Something's gotta give here - the core ability is fine, but it's overtuned in numbers and has a LOT of power by not having a cast time.

The E's really concerning and is falling into the pattern of doing a little TOO much. It doesn't seem hard for an enemy to avoid the blast, but the resulting Cyberghasts put most people in a lose-lose situation. We can draw comparisons to Yorick's ghouls, since they're pretty similar in how they're created. His ghouls have a lot of health against minions, but die almost instantly from champions, whereupon they stop doing damage. Counterplay there is obvious - pick off the ghouls before he can pile them on you. The Cyberghasts, if killed, explode. For considerable damage, mind. Presuming they can still basic attack, that's pretty nasty, especially if you're melee and have literally no other options. Let's not forget you don't even need to wait for the enemy to kill them - you can shoot them with your Q and cause a comically huge explosion that will probably oneshot some poor bastard.

In short: Cyberghasts need better counterplay opportunities. Most champions aren't in a position to keep their minions from dying, and a good chunk of those champions are melee and get screwed unless they pull a full retreat.

Also, does it have to silence AND reduce magic resistance? Landing it is pretty significant, but having both of those effects seems a bit much, especially given how much damage you can output with the Q.

I don't understand the purpose of the ult's active. The spires don't fit NM-8's persistent predator theme at all, and provide a stupid amount of passive pushing power comparable with Zz'Rot Portal. Being able to warp between spires gives you an honestly absurd amount of map mobility - you've given yourself a souped up Teleport for free, while it also fights back. I'd honestly recommend you scrap the active component altogether and swap in something else related to the persistent predator theme - maybe a mark of some sort, as NM-8 does a lot of damage with just the Q.

The ult's passive is fine, since it gives you some breathing room at the start of teamfights and some leniency against incoming assassins and other champions with stellar gap closers. Except for the stun. That's bullshit, and you know it's bullshit - try fielding your Quinn against this guy. How quickly do you pull off your combo? Within 2 seconds, right? Because if you wait any longer, the enemy gets away, right? So what happens when you try that, you get stunned, and he unloads two Qs into you and kills you almost instantly while running away? Point is, you don't need the stun, which is good, because there's no consistent counterplay that doesn't involve you or your team screwing yourselves.

Keep up the good work.

Hey there! Though Contest time hasn't started (yet), I would like to give a little feedback on what this is so far. After all, good neighbors do that, right?

Now, since there is just that enee weeny tiny bit of lore, I won't even bother with it. No way to tell if it's good or bad now, so just take your time.

To the kit...

The passive seems like an interesting way to discourage counter jungling. I don't know whether or not you want him (it...? whatever it identifies) to be top, mid or jungle, but I see most of it's uses there. Top of course it could be used for bush domination, but since NM-8 has limited escape potential, you probably don't want to be cornered in a top bush. Speaking of escape, this ability could chip any foes following through bushes, hence it actually has some value in that department. Yet, if you want to save up on those charges, you might have to be very selective about which bushes he wants to walk into. But aside from that, pretty solid.

Now, if I got it right, Q is basically a mirrored Diana Q with increased rage that is blockable by champs. I am not quite sold on this one. With the W enhancement it makes for a good long range "Engage"-Poke, but an effective range of 1400? (+/-50?) That kind of seems... a bit supperssing (b-dm-tzz). I mean, if you hit it from the river onto the laner, there isn't much that can stop the rockets to prevent that effective 180 +60% AP damage to land where it lands. Which should be on the champion, because with the laughable 2 to 1 second cooldown, you can focus on farming later, first you want to get that never ending pain (and slow) on the laner. With that new support item coming, there might be an obligation to build it on every tank when facing off against NM-8. On the other hand it looses almost all it's power, when someone jumps on him, because that's when the slow is gone and rockets are body blocked by the people on top of you. I see, which strength it is supposed to lend to NM-8, but please: It will be a hell to play against if your engage isn't good, or wasted if it is. At least that's what I feel about it.

W is interesting. I like the passive, which in of itself isn't all that special I think: MS, a bit of CDR and a slow on the Q when baddies aren't near you, roger that. As I said, at Q's current state, the slow would probably be an overkill, but in of itself, it is a neat idea. For the active part though... I cannot help myself but compare it to Rek'Sai's Tremor Sense on steroids. 2000 range is nothing to joke around with, especially, if it's a giant sweeping lense... My concern here is, even though it has a high cooldown, it tells a little too much about what your enemy is doing. You can spot them even through the fog of war, while having the tool to hit them from that far. Mind that.

The E ability is the one I fancy most, but also have the mos questions about: First of, how exactly do you move this thing? You said it would be movable, but will it do that automaticly, do you press the button again, will it follow you? Also, that's quite a bit of damage on it. For being close range, that is a good trade-of I guess... It makes sense, but also is the most useful, when he is in the thick of things, which seems kind of contradictory to Q and W. Additionally, minions. Here to you leave us in the dark when it comes to their function. Again, can you move them? Do they follow you? Or the wave? Ore they automatically running for enemy champions? Besides, this one just affects minions only, so he is supposed to play lane? Or is it more of a tool for splitpushing later? Anyways, lots of questions about this one.

Now, the ultimate. The passive has already been adjusted and honestly, I don't see a problem there. If he goes glass cannon, it will keep him from being bursted immediately, when tanky, his abilities deal less damage to justify the damage reduction. And while I've got to say, that I like the Spires, I also need to point out, that they should deal less damage, or none at all. Reason is, that 100 to 200 damage +50% AP every 4 seconds seems like a little too much. Whenever an enemy tries to clear out one, they won't be able to do that without getting hurt, and especially squishies could have serious problems when shreked by that. I like the idea to put it in their jungle to be a general annoyance for their jungler when clearing, but else... I dont't know. I really don't.

Phew... that took a while. Again, as with every critique, this is what I see. Maybe I didn't understand the hidden genius behind it, or was simply tired, so tell me if it helped you. Yes, no, maybe, so?

But that's it from me. For now I don't have a concept to offer for redemption, but in a few days, it should be up.

Anyways, have a good one!

So like Kassadin , as melee mage with nidaless animal form animations type? or does it shoot out stuff?

Love the concept and idea, very cool!

Hey there, here to review your concept.

Passive: Nothing terribly fancy or gameplay-making from the looks of it, though the rest of his kit might work more into it, that's usually the way things go. It reminds me strongly of Teemo's ultimate except NM-8 has less control over it. I imagine this passive alone would make NM-8 pretty hated :p

Q: Super low cooldown and cost but hardish to land at its full strength, I can't help but be strongly reminded of Karthus' Q but with geometry added in. It's arguably better for NM-8 if an enemy is in his face, because if they're on top of him he technically can't "miss" because the enemy will just eat both bolts and he only loses 33% of the potential damage compared to if he lands the shot properly.

The range needs to get nerfed. By a lot. Only Lux, Ziggs, and Xerath can really match that range and their respective spells are either very mana-expensive or minion blocked, neither of which is true for this skill. I'd honestly despise having to lane against NM-8 just because it's going to be a game of HERE HAVE FUN DODGING MY CONSTANT Q BARRAGE DURING THE LANING PHASE! :D I think his Q can work, but it can't have that combination of cd and cost with that range.

The last point, for his passive at least, is nifty but kinda pointless. If I see NM-8 firing into a bush I'm probably going to be avoiding that bush.

W: Active is a Quinn W lite, but HOLY SHIT THAT PASSIVE. I'm honestly baffled that you thought his Q needed a 1-second slow (you will basically get Q pummeled to death if he lands a single one with this passive up) but the passive also gives him cdr in case the fact that the slow matched his rank 5 Q cooldown wasn't enough. Honestly, I say just stick to the movespeed, it gives him a better niche as a keepaway ranged mage.

E: 3-second silence, fuck you from this mage main! :/ Uhh, well you try to make it fair by putting it on a delay, but the ball moves really fast, so unless you've got a dash that you save for the last second you're going to get hit by it anyways unless you manage to juke NM-8 out. Then again this ability might actually be very awkward for NM-8's player, since they have to manage distance to keep their W passive up while also constantly firing Q's.

The cyberghast part is incredibly troublesome, especially for melee enemies. NM-8 could just aim to infect minions without ever bothering to hit the enemy laner, and then they've suddenly got a bunch of walking bombs to have to worry about.

R: I strongly dislike the passive, not so much for the incredibly durability it provides (bruiser NM-8 would be a monster) but because a defensive steroid just flat doesn't belong on a champion with NM-8's range. The closest thing we have to something like this is Lux's shield. Super long range champions all tend to be squishy for a reason.

His ultimate is... hmm. I guess it kinda fits with his apparent theme of relentlessly hunting down enemies, but I seriously suspect that his ult gives him way too much cross-map mobility. You should definitely make the spires have a lengthy cooldown after being teleport from or to before they can be used again, however you like to do it. Depending on the range, the damaging pulse is something of an afterthought. Melees are more likely to be troubled by it than ranged champs.

As usual, you really went all out with the crazy mechanics and interactions XD NM-8 thematically is pretty interesting with the whole relentless hunting machine thing he's got going on, but gameplay wise he's mostly just going to be spamming his Q while jumping between his spires. I definitely feel that some power in his kit should be shifted over to his W, which feels a bit tacked on, and some of the power in his ultimate should be moved from the mobility to the actual damage from the spires.

Hey, could you please give Lyra a second look-over? :) I addressed some of your concerns:

  • Duration in flight lowered to 0.4 from 0.5
  • Missile Speed increased to 2500 from 2400

Proximity Field

  • Passive no longer slows or provides CDR
  • Passive now reveals targets hit by E-62 Suppression Rocket

Okay, let's see :)

Passive: Okay good, you moved the slow from his W to here, I like that change. It kinda ties better into his notion of hunting you down if you get caught.

Q: Upping the base cooldown is a nice start, but since he's going to max this out first it just delays the start of the constant Q dodging. The mana cost is still very low and the range is incredible. Honestly, I still think he's going to just rush Rylai's and be the most obnoxious kiting champ ever.

W: I still think the cdr needs to go. It's free power that probably shouldn't be given to him, but it also makes getting 40% cdr a bit unreliable depending on his positioning.

E: Why'd you buff this ability? @.@ This was one of his most problematic skills and you made it stronger! D:

R: I'm kinda reminded of Orianna's ult, but with a delay. Still, it definitely fits his theme as a hunter/trapper, and it has its own niche of first disabling the movements of enemies and trapping them. I suspect the delay might be too long, as 400 range is pretty low and enemies can just walk out if they're not cc'ed.

Changes mostly look positive, but some of my issues remain.

From Demacia? Is that intentional, or was it the first thing that popped in your head? I think he fits more Noxus/Zaunite, considering Blitzcrank also came from Zaun. Also, an active for a passive, huh? Seems like we're getting more of those these days...

Demacia? I don't think Demacia is about robots

Original ult and his kits all flow well. I just have a proposal. I feel like his Q shouldn't prematurely detonate on impact with units in flight, because of how none of his abilities in his kits synergize with this, so you could just remove this and move the power somewhere else. His Q just seems like it's there to specifically counter enemy champions who have that and only those enemy champs.

More details on my review later when I have time! But everything looks ship-shape, Me gusta! solid supporting abilities, besides that additional, small, little, thing on his Q.

Seems like a really cool character, my only concern is that defensive matrix will make it really hard for mages in particular to fight against NM-8 since they don't usually have anything on a low enough cooldown that does more than 5% max health, so all they can really do is blow all their abilities and do 15% of NM-8's health.

No but really. We should have more canine quadrupedal champions in League. Warwick and Nasus Aren't quite dogs. Both are actually humans in different forms.
