The problem with non-damaging slows

Skylarke·11/13/2016, 9:37:27 PM·29 votes·1,850 views

Why do non-damaging slows like FQC and Akali's shroud end Quinn 's ult? The tooltip explicitly states that she has to take damage or suffer from immobilising crowd control, something which they aren't (you know, being NON-DAMAGING and SLOWS)

Can we get a fix on this?

Kind of adds some unique counterplay to quins ridiculous mobility

Slows are crowd control.

non-damaging status effects sometimes deal 1 true damage

like veigar's event horizon deals 1 true damage to everyone inside it

its spaghetti code

The obvious fix would be to have:

X > 1 = ult is cancelled when X = damage taken from an ability or auto attack

Therefore, 1 true damage CC effects that draw turret aggro don't stop quinn's ult.

Let's move on to more pressing issues.

what are we talking about again?

don't all of quinns abilities deal damage?

Also they break malzahar's passive. Which is really annoying when you get clipped by a insignificant AOE slow, but it's then resisted for all of .25 seconds, before being applied to you... well really annoying if i stilled played the champion, fuck the rework still.

Might want to throw a post about this at Report a Bug.
