@Riot KateyKhaos: Pirate Skin Bundle

ModKnightsKemplar·Jul 21, 2015·2 votes·1,604 views

I'm not sure if you have any authority on what skins get made into bundles, but I know you're on boards a lot, so here goes!

I have all the pirate skins. When I first heard about the Bilgewater update, I was amazed and terrified. Amazed, because I knew you would go even further on making awesome pirate skins; terrified, because my wallet is not infinitely deep. I will buy all of these pirate skins, eventually, but you will get more of my money up front if you put these things in a tidy bundle. Any chance of that? If not on patch day, perhaps later in August or September?

Hiya CyanoPirate,

First off, thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately, I don't have a say in regards to what goes into a bundle. I'd be happy to pass the feedback on that you'd like to see some kind of bundle for the new content. :]

It's awesome to see that you're super excited for the new skins! I have to ask, which one is your favorite? I'm personally a big fan of Corsair Quinn.

Corsair Quinn is probably my favorite, too! I never had an urge to play Quinn until I saw that skin. I must have it. The Garen skin and Captain MF are also up there.

The others are less pirate-y, and I think that's good, but it makes me inherently less excited about them. I think the graves and TF skins are cool, but they look more like bandits to me than pirates. They are still awesome, and seem to fit the story space PERFECTLY. I could not have imagined as cool a design for them, pre-"break-up" (assuming that piece of lore stays. I certainly hope so). Aatrox is... well, it's a creative design for him, and whoever led that one DEFINITELY pulled it off. I still wish he had an eye-patch.

Yeah, y'all did a great job on all of them! I'm pumped for this patch. I would be happy for you to pass that info along! I reached out to you specifically because I knew you'd respond. Thanks! It's nice to know there are people who will respond if prompted. Hope I didn't waste too much of your time, and keep being awesome!

EDIT: I guess I don't know that those Graves and TF skins are intended the way I assumed. They are super cool, either way, of course. It just seems to fit them as they might have been in the past.

i feel like i'm gonna need the Captain MF skin for two obvious reasons...

i'm also gonna need a new bottle of rum once the patch hits

simple feedback on the bilgewater skins... i'm disappointed that there were no "rengARR" and "dARRius" skins and that the garen one isn't called "gARRen" :P
