Saelyara, Nature's Spite (Character Concept)

Hi everyone! I have new champion concept that I think you'll enjoy! Now, allow me to present Saelyara, Nature's Spite.

Basics:

Homeland: Independent, Forests of Runeterra

Sex: Female

Class: Marksman

Lane: ADC

Abilities

Passive: Essence of the Falcon

Whenever Saelyara attacks from full range her basic attacks deal 15 (+15% critical strike chance) (+15% attack speed) scaling up to 150 damage at level 18. Additionally, whenever an ability hits an enemy at full range it will deal 20-30% increased damage.

Q: Scattershot

Range: 1000

Type: Skillshot w/ conditions

Mana: 24/31/38/45/52

Saelyara kneels, immobilizing herself, to charge a powerful shot. The longer Saelyara charges the shorter the width of her ability, but it will gradually charge up in damage both in base and ratio.

Min. damage: 30/50/70/90/110 (+35% AD) physical damage.

Max: 60/100/140/180/220 (+70% AD) physical damage.

Max width: (as large as Xayah's R)

Min width: (as thin as Jhin's W)

(Basically: Saelyara can either rapid fire the ability to deal little damage but at a greater width, or more damage to fewer enemies.)

Cooldown: 6/6/6/6/6 seconds

W: Heart of Nature

Range: 975

Type: Targeted ability with additional effects

Mana: 40/60/80/100/120

Saelyara fires an arrow to a targeted location, after a brief 1.25 second delay, a Thorn Bloom will spawn. Thorn Blooms randomly strike enemy units (but prioritizes champions) for 50/85/120/155/190 (+60% AD) magic damage and reduce armor of enemies by 3/3/4/4/5% per strike (effect stacks up to 30/30/40/40/50%). Thorn Blooms only strike up to 3 enemies per second.

Cooldown: 15/14.5/14/13.5/13 seconds

E: Arrow of Constriction

Range: 900

Type: Skillshot with root

Mana: 80/95/110/125/140

Saelyara fires an arrow forwards, upon connecting with an enemy unit the arrow will explode and deal 60/95/130/165/200 (+65% AD) physical damage in a small AoE and root the target hit, along with up to 2 additional targets (prioritizes champions) for 1.5 seconds.

Cooldown: 22/20.5/19/17.5/16 seconds

R: Ring of Roses

Range: 975

Type: Toggle

Mana: 100

Saelyara fires a storm of arrows in the sky only to rain down on a targeted area after 1.25 seconds. The arrows will enclose the area in a ring of arrows. If an enemy champion walks through the arrow they will be slowed by 50/60/70% for 1/1.5/2 seconds and will be applied a bleed effect that is worth 100/125/150 (+50% AD) physical per second and lasts for 4 seconds.

(The arrows do no damage while raining down)

Cooldown: 140/105/70

With CDR of 40% - 84/63/42 seconds

With CDR of 45% - 77/57.75/38.5 seconds

Masteries: Maxes out on-hit damage as well as giving her abilities that extra omph from Deathfire (can use Fervor).

Runes: Vanilla ADC runes for on hit damage (you can modify as you see fit).

Gameplay

As: Playing as Saelyara requires you ensure you land your combos to fully max out damage. Trying using her ultimate to better set up her E, W, Q for max damage. Additionally, Saelyara gains early damage from her passive if you are be a fully ranged marksman, this can be good or bad. Good because it can help clear waves and deal more damage to enemy champions, but it can backfire can make her miss the holy CS that every ADC craves. She also only gets the bonus damage if she is at max range, so champions that get in close will be hard for you duel.

Against: Saelyara's power from her Q takes time to charge, try disrupting her early. The root on her E only happens if she hits an enemy unit, if she does hit an enemy, make sure you aren't within rooting range (it is pretty small). Her W can attack once per second up to three enemies, keep that mind when in larger scale teamfights.

I really like the idea but there are some problems.

Passive: Essence of the Falcon Whenever Saelyara attacks from full range on her basic attacks, they deal an additional 50-200 damage. Additionally, if an ability hits at full range they do an additional 20-30% increased damage

50 - 200 damage is really a lot of damage. My recommendation is somewhere around 15 - 150 damage as she would build attack speed, damage and crit chance, she will be doing 900+ damage per hit at level 18. The damage at level 1 would be 130 per hit. That is enough to kill an ADC in 4 - 5 shots at max range.

immobilizing herself is not a good idea for an ADC. I would recommend a slow like 15% to 40% that increases the longer the ability is charging up.

The cooldown on R is really short at max level. Example: Varus' R has 110/90/70 cooldown, and Saelyara has 140/95/50 seconds of cooldown. Reduce the cooldown on early game and increase it at late game.

Recommended build is:

No need for cooldown reduction items as Essence Reaver gives 30% CDR
