Duck Champion?

I remember several years ago a Rioter promised us that a duck champion would be coming soon. It has been several years and a good several threads later.

Please don't tell me that duck was just a cruel joke. I'd actually want to play a duck if there was one. Can we at least get a duck skin for ?
