What if we had a champion that gained maximum mana from kills?

I could see this being Ryze's new passive if he gets a rework.

as long as they take out the stupid "Half of my damage comes from mana alone" and "My passive gives me CD reduction for every skill i use"

The mana part is kind of the point of why I think he would be good with the passive, but I agree with getting rid of his current one.

Im not saying that he shouldn't have it, that passive honestly sounds good on ryze but they really should get rid of his old one or he will be stupidly broken

That's not a really exciting build, is the thing. Getting more health feels good. Getting more damage on Siphoning Strike, or more AP, all of these things feel like they're directly helping you out.

Past a certain point, mana is almost meaningless. It doesn't make for a satisfying thing to stack, at least in my opinion.

You'd have to build an Archangels staff always.

Ryze would be the only champion that would benefit from this

Manamune for a bruiser/assassin (AD) Archangels Staff for AP mage/AP auto-attacker. wow anyone think anymore?

I'm sorry. You can see into the future where Riot created a NEW champion with this interaction and EVERYONE in the community and team agreed that it didn't 'feel good' ?

Just wondering, if you're gonna pull the 'it doesn't feel good' card instead of putting up an actual argument as to why it would be bad such as "but then the champion would focus on mana items and become tanky but still do damage because of Staff/Manamune".

What if we made a champion who is a ninja who has no mana?

Veigar has AP scales tho.

Y'know... for a second there, I almost forgot Sion existed.

Veigar gains Ap from kills and Nasus gains bonus damage for his Q from kills.

Getting mana from killing units like Sion does with Hp sounds great, but y'know, Riot being Riot, they will just water down that certain champ's strength by making his abilities cost like 60/85/110/145/170.
