"Lol, idc this is just one of my smurfs"

You have someone on your team in a Ranked game no less, playing completely stupid like chasing the tankiest Leona into the fog of war. You and your allies ping that person and tell them to stop chasing, but they do so anyway then die when Leona's team pops ouf of the FoW and destroys your teammate 5 v 1. They do this several times, which in turn costs you towers, dragon and baron, ultimately losing you the game.

Their response? "lol idc, this is my smurf"

What do you report them as? And does Riot insta ban people like this? I personally feel like they should. Its pretty unfair to have someone like this on your team and they cost you the game, a ranked game, and they don't care. Because its their smurf. It leaves everyone else that isn't a smurf salty because they had an individual like this on their team that didn't want to work with everyone else.

Riot, what do you guys do when you see reports on people like this? Do you just turn a blind eye to them if they only do it once in a while? This may be vengeful or selfish of me, but I feel like it should be a Zero Tolerance policy on these kinds of attitudes. Especially when the person specifically says things like that.

I would rather have a silent teammate who throws the game over a teammate who throws the game, but then says things like that. It puts me on tilt. It puts other people tilt. It will outright piss people off if they encounter behavior like this in their ranked games. People become butt hurt, they start becoming toxic. Smurf42 just laughs and reports them.

Basically a giant mess of tears and anger. Ugh.
