What if Vel'Koz had a "Watcher" skin?
I am saying that because once, when Vel'Koz was released, there was some speculation that he was one of the Watchers mentioned in Lissandra's lore. Then Riot came and said that Vel'Koz is NOT a Watcher.
But they left a quote "there can be Void portals on Freljord" leading to the speculation that the Watchers and the Void CAN be related even though the Watchers are not voidborns.
That said, what if Vel'Koz had a skin that made him a watcher? I had this idea by looking at the above image on Bard's promo, a image of a watcher, which bears some similarity to Vel'Koz or a voidborn. A skin does not necessarily need to tie to the lore, so it's not like Vel'Koz would need to be changed into a Watcher with such skin. He could have ice/ice ray-themed particles, and even have a new VO with quotes directed to champions from Freljord.
