Idea for a mechanical agressive support that would appeal to more midlaners or other players
Here are some preliminary thoughts I've had on this. I'd appreciate some feedback, and some contributions as well. Having supports who appeal to more players would be an awesome. Also just having an aggressive mechanical support would be lots of fun in general.
Basically the idea is to have a highly mobile and mechanical support that specializes in locking down the enemy as well as outplaying them. It is a high risk but high reward playstyle.
--Passive: A shield that absorbs damage, that is on a moderate cooldown. CCing the enemy reduces it's cooldown. Bonus AP melee auto attack damage while shield is up. --Q: Skillshot. Dashes to skillshot location, slams the ground creating an inner and outer AOE. Inner AOE= .5 sec stun. Outer AOE= 1.5 sec slow. Can be activated again to return the champion to it's original location like LeBlanc W. Low cooldown. --E: Creates a small barrier in skillshot direction (like Braum shield) after a short delay that reflects skillshots and nullifies targeted and auto attack damage. High cooldown. --W: A crescent skillshot similar to Dianna Q but less long and more curved. Hitting the enemy slows, hitting an ally or self provides significant bonus AP and AD resistance for 1.5 seconds. The skillshot is wider initially and gets narrower, but the effect is stronger at the tip. Moderate cooldown. --R: Two mid-length skillshot dashes, that can be used within 5 seconds of each other. Hitting or passing through an enemy slows them. The area dashed over is left with a slowing field for 3 seconds.
Example combos: -Free harass: Q>Q -Harass: Q>aa>aa?>aa?>E>Q. Deals some damage and slows/stuns. AA multiple times may make your opponent think you are going all in and shoot their skillshots, rather then expecting the shield or a Q back. With proper timing and aim you can reflect their skillshots back onto them and take no damage. --Defend Adc: W>Q>E. Hit your adc with the crescent shot giving them resistance, Q to them possibly CCing the enemy, and put your reflect barrier E in front. --All in: W>Q>E>R>R possibly with auto attacks weaved in. Throw the tip of your crescent shot W to where you intend to Q to, so you get bonus resistance in addition to your passive shield. Q into the enemy team stunning and slowing them. E to reflect panic retaliation. R to cc them and dodge stuff. R to go more ham or get out.
and actually just be a midlaner filling the support slot. By mid-game you're as strong as an APC.
