Lore- Korin was originally a member of the Kinkou order, yet, he felt he did not belong. Instead of standing out from the world and making decisions as he should, Korin made the decisions that made sense to him, instead of the order. He looked up to his mentor, Zed, and, after Zed released the shadows, he felt alone. Shen would not train him, nor would Akali and Kennen. Without warning, Korin left the order, and followed after Zed, asking him to accept him into the Order of the Shadow. Zed, upon seeing his former pupil and prodigy beg to join the order, accepted. Korin was wrapped in the shadows, and became a warrior of unrivaled potential. Yet, the power came with a huge cost. The cost of his memory. He only remembered his name and his master. Korin turned to the League of Legends, following his master's bidding. To destroy the Kinkou order. The Kinkou rejected me, yet the Shadow accepted. Which one would you rather join? - Korin, Umbra Knight Quotes Picked: Finally, a chance to show the Shadow When summoned with Zed on team: Master, we fight together When summoned with Shen: My master taught me your ways, Eye When summoned with Akali: Shame that you didn't accept the Shadow, Fist When summoned with Kennen: Lightning!? That cannot harm me, Heart When facing Shen: Finally, I can finish what my master started When facing Akali: What a shame that I must slay a beauty such as you When facing Kennen: Hmm, your power tickles me, little man When facing Zed: Now I can prove myself to you Joke: Hmm, Shadow, like the finest candy, it is good, but deadly to others Taunt: The Shadows challenge you. Do not back down now Dying: Ha, the Shadows protect me as they do my master!

Special Interactions Buying item 3153 : The Ruined King? Intriguing Killing Baron: A worthy opponent, he was

Passive- Accept the Shadows: Upon hitting a champion, Korin deals an extra 10/30/50/70 damage(scaling with levels in ult) Upon killing a minion, Korin gains 30/50/70/90 Movespeed(scaling with levels in ult) for .75 seconds.

Q- Shadow Blades: Korin strikes out in a cone, dealing 40/70/100/130/160 (+.4 AD) damage, and slowing all targets hit by 40/45/50/55/60%. If Korin kills a minion, the movespeed and time that it lasts for are doubled.

W- Mimic Strike: Korin may recast the last basic spell he used. The damage dealt is halved, but all forms of CC are increased by 10%. (So, Q would deal 80 Damage, but have a 70% slow)

E- Demise Dagger: Korin throws a dagger at a unit, continuing through in a skillshot until it hits another target, dealing 50/65/80/95/110. (Think of it like Lucian Q) If a champion is hit AFTER passing through the original target, they are snared for 1.5 seconds. (Mimic Strike would make it a 1.75 second snare)

R- Shadows Collide: Korin calls all shadows onto one targeted unit, dealing 100/200/300 damage (+1.0 AD). If this ability kills a target, Korin may reactivate it, giving him a bonus 50/100/150 AD, and an additional 25/75/125 movespeed for 5 seconds.

Fun combos, and plays:

  • Note that "Shadows Collide" says targeted unit! This means that it can be cast on minions and monsters. This can be useful if you're losing a fight and need a way to turn it around. Say you're being outclassed by an enemy champion, and there are minions near by. You can select the lowest health target and activated "Shadows Collide", and activate it again after killing it, in order to either escape or turn the fight around.

  • Say you're fighting Xerath in the middle lane. If Xerath is at about 50% HP at level nine with 0 HP from Runes, Masteries of Items. He will have around 560 HP. If you are the same level, you would more than likely assume that you can kill him. However, you see a gank coming in from Bot Lane. Now, your options are to fight or flight. Normally, you would run, but with Korin, you could escape easily after killing Xerath. You would lead with "Shadow Blades" through the minions. If you were to hit Xerath, then you can easily "Mimic Strike" into "Demise Dagger", and use your "Shadows Collide". If Xerath dies to your "Shadows Collide", you can reactivate it and escape.

  • This champion is obviously strong in a 1v1 scenario, and would more than likely make an appearance in the jungle, mid, OR top. This would make him a solid flex pick and allow you and your teammates(In a 5s game) to really get inside the enemies head and confuse them.
