This just adds to the power ADCs can get, and there are no(to my memory) ranged AD assassins, so this wouldn't be a problem for the class it's meant for. Don't pull a Duskblade either and say "If it gets to the point where ranged champions are abusing it, we'll change it to be melee only". Make it melee only right off the bat and save yourselves the trouble of all the threads about this item. Thanks in advance

Quinn and twitch are classified as Markmen-assassins, and both have the tools to fulfill that goal, so there are some ranged AD Assassins.

Not to my knowledge, she doesn't function in an assassin style like Quinn and Twitch do.

You realize she has to go through the full duration of her stealth in order to get the damage, right? Thus lowering her DPS significantly.

Vayne is actually a ranged AD Assassin especially with the crit build she has right now (IE, Stattik Shiv, and PD). She can also be considered a duelist, but that would just link right back to assassin (burst, single target damage [ excluding Katarina ] etc.)

nope she is a maksman duelist late game hyper carry

she has to have to have items and levels to be able to do damage where as typical assassins have burst built into the damage scaling of their kit...

an auto attack based champ has never been an assassin she gets her bulk of damage from passive of silver bullets and auto attacking... take zed for example he uses abilities and cast abilities to do his damage and to execute his target vayne has a tumble which ends up as a empowered auto attack. a passive w and an e for disengage or cc and her ult is an ad steroid that increases the damage she does from her auto attacks she does not cast abilities and cant kill an enemy just from using R to execute them. she has to activate R and then use the steroid to empower her auto attack to do more damage there for the role of assassin dont fit her kit or the champ designed at all she is more of a sustain dps then a burst damage and dont have an execute built into her kit at all and all the items she builds its to enhance her auto attacks

You still haven't really said anything about her invisiblity.... I'm not saying she is an exact definition of an assassin because of her auto attacks, but Vayne's stealth jukes are one of the most important things on Vayne and can actually be used to pick off a target. (not in a teamfight) Yeah she is definitely reliant on her autos, but she still has the semi-assassin playstyle of popping out of no where because of her invisibility and just killing a SINGLE TARGET with burst (excluding Katarina ). Yes she is a definitely not an assassin, but she still has some sort of assassin in her kit. In teamfights that is a completely different situation since you are pretty much autoing whatever is in front of you.

teemo has invisibility but not an assassin...

invisibility isnt what make a champ an assassin or not , however a lot of them do have that.

eve is invisible as a passive and i wouldnt consider her an assassin but more of an ambush champ

her invisibility is more of a defensive then an offensive she uses it with her Q to keep from being targeted while gaining an attack damage steroid but she is visible whens she attacks its not like twitch that has a longer duration of invisibility and uses it to ambush or to escape

No, not anymore. They recognise her as a ranged assassin now. It only took them until the rework to realise this. Quinn built right still one shots squishies. Albeit not as fast but hey at least there's some counter play now.

They are assasins secundary, and it's the old, out-dated classification system. So there are somewhat assasinish marksmen, but not really ranged assasins for ad.

Twitch Quinn fall pretty solidly into the range AD assassin group. Although not an assassin this guy is a meme for his kit giving range/tank/burst Graves would love that item too, and to a small degree there are still niche Kindred builds that lean more onto AD than attack speed that would build this item.

Every single thread whining about this refuses to understand that lethality is not ideal for ADC anymore... I've tried to explain but no one is able to see that ADC will probably not be buying this. Crit is much stronger late game and armor pen was only prioritized for early game and now that it scales with level its just not worth it.

Which is why Armor pen builds shouldn't be gutted but managed. MF should still use armor pen items, since crit just doesn't work with her. Only problem I have is Black Cleaver on ADCs. Should never happen.

I'm not sure that self-stunning for 1,5 second is a good idea. And it lasts for 10 seconds. The enemy team will just back off, when they see the bubble.
