#Intro

So, I created a new champion concept. Well, really, I created 2 that relate to each other, so I worked on them together. They are a couple (but no to same level of Xayah and Rakan). They are more like Senna and Lucian. Alright, let's get into the actual concepts, shall we?

(Note: I wanted a vocal song kind of like Diana and Aphelios for them, so I chose this one. Enjoy! I don't own the music above. Everything image and sound belong to the respective owners and are copyrighted.)

#Quick Lore

Really, these are just lore points / a summary of what you need to know. Shia was the daughter of the Hierophant of her age. The time when Azir first ruled Shurima as Emperor before Xerath stole his ascension and killed everyone, including Azir. Shia was the youngest of her line, so she was never destined for the throne of the Hierophant. Instead, Shia is the Heir to become the leader of the Moondrifters (more on this in a moment).

Kaedyn is Shia's lover. He started off as a member of the Hierophant's elite guard. For his service, he was given the position of being the family's royal bodyguard, more importantly, he was mainly Shia's guard. The two first met at a ball hosted by Shia's mother. Shia was being courted by many princes as an act to keep the peace between Zuretta (her nation) and neighboring countries.

Shia slipped away into the gardens where Kaedyn noticed her alone and by herself. As the bodyguard, he had to go and keep an eye on her. Shia noticed him watching her and convinced him to spend time with her instead of just keeping a watchful eye. Their relationship grew from that point on.

After a few years, Shia still hadn't accepted any offers from the princes of Shurima, and thus her mother offered Shia another option. She was to join the Moondrifters alongside Kaedyn. Her mother never let on that she knew about their relationship, but this was her way of allowing the two to be together. Her mother managed to keep the peace with her other daughters and sons.

The Moondrifters are a secret group created by Setaka, the first ascended known as the Hierophant. Her descendants take on the name of the Hierophant when they take the throne of Zuretta. The Moondriters are also Shuriman Ascended, but instead using the Sun Disc with the powers of the sun, they use the Sun Disc with the powers of moon. The powers they are blessed with are the powers to undo ascension because of this, they remain mostly human in appearance instead of being half-animal in appearance.

Because they were Moondrifters, this is why they were at the Emperor's Ascension just in case something went wrong. Sadly, they were unprepared for what happened that day. Everyone died and centuries later Shia and Kaedyn were resurrected alongside Azir by the power of the Eternal Flame (Azir was resurrected by Sivir).

Now, Shia and Kaedyn look to stop and undo all Ascensions including Targonian ascended.

######That was not exactly quick but whatever.

#Kits

Shia, the Heir

Passive: Fragments of Power

Shia's abilities do not scale with Ability Power or Attack Damage. Instead, her powers scale with Sun Disc Shards (SDS). She gains a conversion rate for bonus AD she builds at a rate of 1.5 SDS per 1 Attack Damage, 2 SDS per 1 AP, and 4 SDS per kill on champions and epic monsters (baron / dragons).

Q: Descension

Mana: 50/55/60/65/70 / Range: 1150 / Cooldown: 14/12.5/11/9.5/8 seconds / Type: Skillshot W/Debuff

Shia tosses out a wreathing ball of flame that latches to the first enemy champion hit, dealing 20/25/30/35/40 (+25% SDS) magic damage to them and applies Curse for 2 seconds. After 2 seconds, or when hit by another of Shia's abilities, they explode for 60/90/120/150/180 (45% SDS) dealing magic damage in an AoE around them.

##Curse is a new type of debuff that comes with Shia. Curse consumes one positive effect (cast or currently in effect). See below for things it consumes. Also, it consumes at random. It opts for abilities first, then items, then objective buffs, and so on.

Consumed Things

Attack Speed Buffs, Healing Items / Pots / Shields / Movement Speed Buffs / Etc.

W: Shifting Sands

Mana: 70/80/90/110/110 / (Passive) Range: 525 / (Active) Range: 975 / Type: Aura / AoE

Shia pulls in her aura, slowing herself by 40% for 1 second, before unleashing a wave of sand that deals 60/100/140/180/210 (+60% SDS) and are knocked back all enemies hit.

E: Sandstorm

Mana: 45/60/75/90/105 / Cast Range: 750 / Effect Radius: 250 / Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 seconds

Shia summons a cursed ring of ascension over a targeted location. The ring gradually grows smaller over time, until it closes in on itself over the course of 3 seconds. Enemy champions who touch the ring’s edges cause the ring to explode and dissipate, dealing 40/55/70/85/100 (+15% SDS) to 80/110/140/170/200 (+55% SDS) (based off the ring's size at time of explosion, smaller rings mean more damage, bigger rings mean less damage) magic damage to all enemies within the ring. If Shia moves out of range of the ring, it dissipates.

R: The Flame Within

Mana: 100 / Cast Range: 750 / Effect Radius: 450 / Cooldown: 120/90/60 seconds

_Shia unleashes the Sun Disc from her soul, creating a disc that hovers above a targeted location. The disc pulls all enemies within its radius to its core on cast. After 3 seconds, the disc explodes dealing 250/400/550 (+75% SDS) magic damage.

#Kaedyn, the Wolf

Passive:

With every strike, Cebtarou also strikes dealing 20-50 (based on level) (+10% to 35% enemy missing health) and heals Kaedyn and Cebtarou for 5% to 15% of the damage dealt.

Additionally, Cebtarou has his own health equal to 25% to 45% (based on level) of Kaedyn's max hp. If Cebtarou dies, he dissipates for 14 seconds or until Kaedyn returns to base.

Kaedyn's spell use Cebtarou's health as a resource bar.

Notes: Cebtarou cannot critically strike ever. Cebtarou doesn't apply on-hit effects. Cebtarou counts as a spell not an aa.

Q: Sandshiv

Health: 40/50/60/70/80 / Range: 750 / Type: Skillshot / Cooldown: 8 seconds

Kaedyn slashes his dagger forwards, sending sand and his blade forwards, dealing X damage while nearsighting and marking his target. If Kaedyn attacks his marked target within 3 seconds, Sandshiv's cooldown is refreshed and he deals an additional X damage.

https://i.imgur.com/ptfvgF8.png

W: Shurima's Walls

Health: 80/90/100/110/120 / Range: 1000 (adjustable) / Wall Length: 400/450/500/550/600 / Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds

Kaedyn summons a wall of sand over a target location. The wall absorbs damage in a direction up to 200/250/300/350/400 (+25% of Kaedyn's max. hp). Kaedyn can drop the wall and transfer 25% of the wall's remaining health to a health shield for himself (health shield function like temporary health)

https://i.imgur.com/ptfvgF8.png

E: Claws of Decension

Health: 25/30/35/40/45/50 / Range: ? / Type: Self Buff / Cooldown: 8 seconds

Kaedyn's next two auto attacks are empowered. If Kaedyn is near a marked target for either attack, he can leap to them. First attack: Kaedyn slows his target by 40/45/50/55/60% for 1.5 seconds. Second attack: Kaedyn applies curse to his target for 1.5 seconds. Each strikes deals an additional 20/25/30/35/40 (+1% per 100 AD max. hp) true damage.

https://i.imgur.com/ptfvgF8.png

R: Cebtarou's Frenzy

Health: All Remaining Health / Range: 750 / Type: Targeted / Cooldown: 140/120/100 seconds

Kaedyn sends Cebtarou to strike a targeted enemy. Cebtarou strikes the enemy for Cebtarou's remaining health as physical damage killing Cebtarou in the process. Cebtarou must be alive to use Cebtarou's Frenzy.

Range is increased by 100 units for marked targets.

Kaedyn's passive also applies here.

######That is it for now. I will update with other stuff late if I need to. I hope you enjoyed the read. If you think of stuff I can added / improve on, let me know! I do plan on adding stats but that is lower order for me as well as some other minor things in a later edition.

Hey there! Chubby here with the usual banter! :D Let me start off by saying... Shaia's passive doesn't mention Rift Herald lol. Just kidding (thought it probably should)! This is a great concept idea, as I feel that these two aren't bound to each other in the bot lane like the 2 duos we currently have, and I would really to see some more of that! We also needs some more dessert people (not just Shuriman, but from the region itself. Have u seen the Riot official map of Runterra?! The dessert is HUGE lol). Let's get started with my review!

Passive: Fragments of Power Ratio conversion seems fair, is she meant to be a hybrid champion? The fact that she can choose from the best AD and AP items is something to keep in mind. Kaisa had a similar interaction and her ratios took a hit to keep her in line.

Oooooooh! You also included costs, range, cooldowns <3 yay!

Q: Descension The curse mechanic might very risky to try to implement. The fact that it's at random, and it has a clear priority string eases my small brain, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if she was able to remove an entire team's Barron buff :( that makes me very sad. Objective buffs are suppose to be huge rewards meant for teams that are able to achieve such a feat (honestly not that hard), and should be game changing... and then Shia rolls up like "You get a curse! You get a curse! You get a curse!" Yes, I know, I know, this has counter play- you have 2 seconds to give yourself a buff so that the curse consumes that one before the objective buff, so I'm going to have to wait on this one lol but right now I'm keeping my eye out on this one >___>

W: Shifting Sands Is Shia melee or ranged? What type of damage does this ability do? What exactly does this "aura" do? You mention it in your ability type but I don't quite follow along. Is it just cosmetic, like people can just see a ring around her? Kinda like a warning? Some clarity would be nice :D

E: Sandstorm Pretty cool ability. It's clear in its function but offers something refreshing in that it's basically avoidable if you flash/blink over it. Not to mention that you can actually just avoid it if you can predict where it will be placed (I've had a lot of practice against Sorakas).

R: The Flame Within This ability feel a little hit-or-miss to me. Upon cast you pull in your target, but they only take damage AFTER 3 seconds? Oooof, maybe you could lower the timer? If you're looking for ways to give this counterplay I would suggest for the CC and the damage to reflect the same time (ex. the pull won't occur until after 3 seconds of casting). Just a small thought. It's too easy to avoid as of right now. Needs a compensation buff.

Kaedyn, the Wolf

Passive: ??? Who exactly is Cebtarou lol? He wasn't mentioned up until Kaedyn's passive and even then we don't get a description of who this person (thing) is. If he is depicted in an image then I apologize since images don't load for me (idk why, I think it's my brother's wifi). I think he's a wolf lol? He even has his own health bar and is capable of dying. We need some more clarification lol. I can't help but to think that gaining a pet through a passive is a little overwhelming since you'll have your pet at level 1 along with a basic ability, but I think it's fine since he only attacks if Kaedyn attacks. Just a thought.

Q: Sandshiv As stated in your passive, the health cost is from Cebtarou, correct? Ok. I can see how this might be an issue if Cebtarou dies lol (you'll have no spells!). The fact tha Cebtarou is your casting source means that if he died you are left with NO spells. Is this suppose to interact this way? During your brief lore section you don't mention Cebtarou, and if Cebtarou is the source of Kaedyn's power I feel like it should be important to explore their interact! But let's move into the actual ability! I like the near sighting effect that this ability applies. Is Kaedyn melee or ranged? I do, however, see the potential of this having 0 downtime if you can keep damaging the target to get a reset on the ability. Against melee champions, where the reset is almost guaranteed, this is very consistent damage. I'm not opposed to it! It's directly tied to Cebtarou's health, so you'll have to essentially kill your pet to spam this ability, but the option IS there and we have to consider how much it can be abused.

W: Shurima's Walls Is Kaedyn supposed to be a tank?! Cus 120 health from a pet that, at best, converts 45% of max health is a little too much for someone who isn't building tanky, unless he IS a tank in which case please disregard lol. I like the spell though! It's like a more balanced version of Yasuo's W. Offers good utility, but may I suggest that if you recast the wall that the 25% remaining health go to Cebtarou? I mean... it's his blood that was used to cast it, but I can totally see it being more useful for Kaedyn. I can't really speak too much on this matter since I don't know enough about Kaedyn and Cebtarou's relationship.

E: Claws of Decension When you mentioned "near a marked target", do you mean marked by your Q, or is there something else? Aside from that small detail I feel the ability is fine.

R: Cebtarou's Frenzy My one concern is the health to damage ratio. Is it going to deal 100% of Cebtarou's health? I don't want to imagine Kaedyn yeeting a full health Cebtarou at a squishy target. Yikes! I would definitely include a ratio to this that seems fair and balanced. You can also have it scale off AD and not just health to help balance it out. And again, you mention a "marked target" do you mean marked by your Q or is there something I'm not seeing? (I'm actually dyslexic so this could very well be a sad, yet true, reality lol.)

I know you said your lore was "quick" but it actually did the design some justice! I feel like Cebtarou wasn't mentioned though, and as stated earlier, I feel like he is a very important part of Kaedyn's kit so maybe explore more of who or what Cebtarou is! Base off the kits I can kinda guess what their intended roles/lanes are, but I would like an official statement lol (I'm just being needy). All and all I feel like this is a very solid concept and I feel like you could really get this ball rolling in the right direction! I'm currently looking for some people to join me on stream to talk about character creations and I would love to have you on! I have a couple of people joining me already (community effort) in helping fleshing out champion concepts :D. Let me know if you would like to be a part of this! Cheers!
